“Sandy and her husband were so sweet with our dog who had an injury right before our vacation. Sandy could tell we didn’t want to leave her, and provided lots of reassurance that our dog would be in good hands. Because of the injury she had a lot of extra meds, which Sandy administered easily! Thank you, Sandy and Tony for loving on Sadey! She even got a beach day!”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I come from a long line of dog people, with generations of family members who have always had dogs in the home. If you ask me my favorite subject, the answer is always “dogs.” I’m the type of person who says hello to every dog I pass, attends dog trivia nights for fun, and spends my free time volunteering at Santa Barbara Humane. If there’s a dog nearby, chances are I’ve already stopped to say hi! My background as an animal lover goes beyond passion. I spent years working in veterinary medicine, gaining hands-on experience caring for animals that need a little extra attention and support. This includes puppies, senior dogs, and dogs with medical needs. I already love spending time walking around beautiful Santa Barbara, so I’m thrilled to combine my daily walks with quality time spent with the doggos of Santa Barbara! I have a flexible, hybrid schedule and can typically adjust on short notice. If I do go into my office, it’s typically for 4-6 hours. I love taking walks throughout the day, so it’ll be easy to add walking your dog to my daily schedule! I have a one bedroom apartment with a sunny balcony. I am able to close off various spaces around the apartment if needed. I’m also comfortable with pets on furniture and giving baths if needed.
“Danielle is one of those rare people who immediately puts both dogs and their humans at ease. She took exceptional care of my rescue French Bulldog, Giani, who struggles with separation anxiety and can require a bit of extra patience and understanding. Danielle went above and beyond, even adjusting her schedule to accommodate his needs. Her calm demeanor, confidence, and extensive experience with dogs, including those with special needs, were evident from the start. Throughout Giani’s stay, I felt completely reassured that he was in caring and capable hands. I am deeply grateful for the care she provided and recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone seeking a truly outstanding dog sitter.”

“John & Cathrine Are the best ‼️ I left my puppy 5 1/2 months over night and she loved it . John worked with my Sassy and taught her to Sit 💯🏆 iv been truly blessed to have found the Best sitters for my fur baby”

“Bradley and Carolyn took great care of our puppy while we were away for the week! She’s hesitant with new people but warmed to them quickly. They gave her the exercise and love she needed while we were gone and sent us a photo or 2 each day as a nice little check in. Pumpkin will miss them and we’ll be sure to reach out again!”

“Laura was fantastic! She took good care of our cat, Rocky, for four days and kept us updated with regular messages and pictures. Rocky is usually shy around strangers but he warmed up to her quickly. We appreciated her prompt communication and attention to details. We’ll definitely book with her again in the future. Thank you, Laura!”

“Deandra was a great pet sitter for my senior 5 lb dog. I used her for extended drop ins two days in a row and she always came right as scheduled, checked in with me, and sent plenty of pictures and an update on my dog when she left. She gave my dog lots of love, treats, and outdoors time and he was happy and relaxed every time I came home after one of her visits. I’m so happy I found her and will be using her as a pet sitter going forward!”

About: I’ve had cats my entire life and currently have 2 cats of my own that I’ve cared for for over 13 years after rescuing them off of the street. I also have experience caring for neighbors’ cats while they’re away. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, litter box care, playtime, medications if needed, and giving shy or nervous cats time and patience to warm up at their own pace.
About: I loved dogs so much when I was young that when I was 13 I started my first job as a dog washer at the “European Grooming” dog groomers up the street from my childhood home. I would work there all day every Saturday and loved it because I got to be with so many dogs. I also have been a second mom to my friend’s two Pitbull pups which have been quite a handful, but noting I can’t handle! I have experience helping to train and discipline even the most hyper and aggressive pupsters. I’m currently working part time remotely and have a very flexible schedule. I just moved here and I think it would be fun to get to walk dogs while walking around this beautiful area 🌊 I can’t have dogs come to my home because my roommates have territorial cats, but I am happy to house sit and walk dogs to help families who need a reliable dog sitter.

“I highly recommend Annette! She accepted my booking request on very short notice, which was a huge help. She took great care of my three cats and was reliable, responsive, and thoughtful, sending me pictures and updates during each visit. It gave me peace of mind knowing my pets were in good hands while I was away. I truly appreciated her help and would gladly book with her again.”

One of my regular customers in the past had llamas, camels, donkeys, tortoises, a pig, a ferret, a hedgehog, and two dogs + a litter of 8 week old puppies. I have also cared for my parents' horses. I work in Santa Barbara from 9-5. Please consider if you are comfortable with me being gone that long. I can recommend a dog walker who might be able to help with check-ins, depending on her availability. I am available in the evening all days of the week. I have Sundays and Mondays off so that's when I am most available for daytime services. I have no problem giving food, fresh water, and loving attention to your pets! About: I've taken care of cats of every kind since I was a child - from feeding the local ferals and rescuing strays to preparing trained Maine Coons for showtime and everything in between. While I know many sitters treat the family cat as an add-on that accompanies the dog, I know your kitty has its own personality, play style and quirks. With extensive experience with senior and medically fragile cats requiring a variety of healthcare treatments, I'm here to help ensure your feline friends are not just checked in on but truly nurtured while you're away.

About: Since I was a little girl I've had the opportunity to raise and care for a variety of dog breeds...dalmatian, maltese, miniature schnauzer, tea cup poodle, and chihuahua. One of my most memorable moments I had growing up was when I woke up to my dalmatian Pepper's newborn puppies that my parents placed around me in my bed. They were absolutely adorable! I will never forget their sweet little faces! From a very young age I learned the responsibilties of quality pet care...proper nutrition, exercise, and T.L.C. I've also had the opportunity to care for extended family and friends dogs, which include various breeds such as labrador retriever, border collie, samoyed, Boston terrier, great dane, golden retriever, and goldendoodle. I am thankful for being able to care for so many great and unique dogs over the years. In the future, I would love to own a Bernese Mountian dog! At this point in time, I enjoy caring for other's dogs and would love the opportunity to watch your dog or doggies!!
About: I've cared for large and small animals since I was young. I recently lost my 13-year-old german shepherd, and although I'm not ready to get another dog of my own, I have lots of love to give your fur babies. I love to go on walks and be outside exploring this beautiful area. I am experienced in puppies, training, senior care and providing medications. I work 7:30-3:30, but am available 24/7 during vacation weeks (Thanksgiving/Christmas/spring break). I love to go for morning and evening dog walks and to spend as much time as possible outside. I am available to stay in your home so your pet is comfortable and routines stay consistent. I provide enrichment activities, walks, and lots of love and cuddles!

About: I've only had 1 experience with a family cat for approximately 1 year. She is an indoor/outdoor cat and I dress her up with clothes and pet. I would go to the family home for 4 hours twice a day and also took car of a paralyzed woman while in the family home. I would feed prepared meals for the cat and administer medication including annual standard topical.

About: ** My next available dates for Board & Train are January 6-11 & 18-24th within 15 mins of central Austin. I have a BA in Photography from the University of Texas at Austin, so I can take really great pictures of your pets, but most importantly, I am a high functioning, detail oriented empath with over 6 years of full-time canine training experience. My specialty is with sporting dogs and fear/hyperactive cases of all kinds, but I also have some training experience with cats and horses. I am based in Austin, Texas and will be doing training as I travel the US seasonally. I just completed 4 months in the St. Louis area, and am currently working through the end of November in the Vail Valley of Colorado! Check me out at Super Simple Dog Training. My base housesitting service offering will give you peace of mind knowing that your dog's "non-ideal" behaviors will likely get a little better, depending of the duration of the stay; This outcome is simply based on my normal behavioral expectations and keeping the undesirable behaviors from continuing to be a daily habit. If you are need of a combination of training and in-home boarding/housesitting, I offer my Board & Train Service to those who have completed 2 or more private training sessions (zoom sessions do the trick). If you would like to learn more about how the B&T program works, feel free to drop me a line and we can set up a complimentary introduction chat! I am a full time dog trainer and have been for the past 6 years. Your pet and home will have my full attention during the contracted stay. At this time, I only offer boarding services at the home of the client. This is because dogs learn visually and situationally, so it's important for the training work to be done in the animal's home in order to get the most bang for your buck.

“Isabelle was a great sitter for Eleanor! When we picked him up, he was clearly well-cared for and in great spirits. Sandy truly saved the day. Thank you!”

About: I've taken care of family and friend family pets growing up. My mom set up daycare for children and families would bring their pets often. (Watching my mommies growing up was my first experience and I now enjoying caring for others on my own leisure time) On my personal time, I've taken care of colleagues and friends family pets. My chihuahua will come with me on home visits otherwise I will require 1 hour break to go home to feed/walk my furbaby. I live by Bacara, I have the backyard that leads to Ellwood preserve. I do not use dog food to feed due to the high sodium, I cook meals using protein, veggies and Japanese potato. I'm happy to walk/care for family pets starting at 6am and latest walk at 6pm unless you are requesting overnight. Bed time is by 9pm or earlier. I have trim pets hair and given baths, this is complimentary for overnight stays even for 1 day. I have the materials and only cut hair by hand. I will keep majority of the hair 🙂 so you will not return surprised, your furbaby will look rejuvenated and polished 💖 I treat all furbaby as my own and cook extra portion for yours. I will walk the dogs together, 3 max at a time including my chihuahua. My chihuahua is allowed everywhere in my home so your furbaby is allowed to go anywhere except for kitchen when I'm cooking. Walks happen every 4 hours unless we are sleeping. I do not crate any furbaby so will not take you if this is something you request, I believe family pets should be included so will be in couch or bed. If they are in the floor every room has a fluffy bed. I do not have cat climbing build, only fuzzy beds! 🐾

“Chloe was a true lifesaver today! I had to be out of the house and needed to make sure that my doggies could be walked for their potty breaks. I got in touch with Chloe just this morning and she graciously accepted to take the dogs out on a walk, paying close attention to the instructions I provided. It was wonderful to know that Chloe had me covered and that I did not need to worry about the dogs when I was gone. Chloe checked in With me when she arrived at the house, and also when she left. I am so pleased to have found Chloe and will definitely use her next time I need to be out for a while! Thank you Chloe!”

About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was born. I’ve had bunnies and cats and fish and dogs and birds. I’ve learned great ways to meet each of these animals with gentle and respectful care. I primarily work Monday-Wednesday 11am-8pm. I’m much more available in the evenings and weekends to take care of beloved pets. Pet walks would be most accessible on Thursdays-Sundays. I do not offer pet care in my home, I don’t have pets because I live in a very tiny apartment and know that’s not conducive for their wellbeing. In my client’s home, I show the utmost respect and care for their items, animal care needs and I triple check that I leave everything clean and locked.
About: Since my early childhood, I've nurtured a profound fascination with animals, which began when I used to visit my papa's ranch and assist him in caring for dogs, horses, lambs, and various other animals. This passion persisted as I ventured into horseback riding and my family welcomed our first golden retriever. Presently, my devotion to dogs has reached new heights as I have a Golden Retriever of my own, not just a family pet. She has become my dearest companion, best friend, and daughter. I first met her as a puppy and after a few times playing with her, knew she was mine. Along the way, I've happily taken on the role of pet-sitter for numerous friends' dogs and cats. I firmly believe that pets deserve nothing but the utmost care and affection, and I can see how the love they receive is beautifully reflected in their demeanor. Thanks to my keen intuition and ability to connect rapidly with dogs, some of my friends even refer to me as the "dog whisperer." I am currently in between jobs and have a pretty open schedule. I start my job mid July and will be available weekends and occasional nights then. As a dedicated dog babysitter, I want to assure you that your beloved furry friend's safety is my utmost priority. I am a responsible and reliable caregiver who takes the time to understand each dog's unique needs and preferences. My commitment to your pet's well-being means they will receive the love, attention, and care they deserve while you are away. I will strive to create a nurturing and stress-free environment for your dog, ensuring they feel comfortable and happy during our time together.

My work is 90% remote which makes my schedule compatible with the needs of most pets and if extra care or time is required my work is flexible in that I can adapt accordingly. I have a fenced yard and lots of beautiful dog parks surrounding. And working from home means I have lots of time to love on the animals who need attention.
About: I had a dog for 9 years that showed me how much I love dogs and how cute they can be. My friend and family can trust me with there dogs and how much I would like to keep on helping others with there dogs by walking them or being with them to give them that love and attention they need. Currently, I’m not working, so I have plenty of time to care for your dog! I can be available in the day for there early walks. At the moment I don’t have a dog so I have all the love/time to give your dog because I love them so much and I know as a previous dog owner, you want someone to give the attention and love they deserve and need and I will give them that.

“They were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. I’m so grateful to have them right here in my neighborhood! I’m very particular about my dog’s care—especially coming from a country with advanced dog care standards. This was my second booking, and I had complete peace of mind knowing my dog was safe, happy, and well cared for in a clean home with a fenced yard, playing with their sweet puppy, Daisy. The photos Vivian sent meant so much to me—it was comforting to see my dog not only safe but also happy and social. What reassures me even more is that they previously owned a small dog before Daisy and truly understand the needs of small breeds at every life stage. I’m grateful to have found such thoughtful, trustworthy people. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again—and I look forward to seeing Daisy next time too!”

“My Teddy Bear enjoyed his stay at Amber's house! He had a ball running around in her big, fenced in backyard and playing with her two girls! Teddy also enjoyed a nature walk! About: I’ve grown up around dogs, young and old, and think the absolute world of these beautiful animals. I recently parted ways with my soul dog when he passed in March and have missed him every moment since. Despite this loss, I have not lost my love for dogs. Caring for your baby would be an absolute privilege and joy for me, and I promise to love and look out for them as my own. I work in home health healthcare but am typically available every morning before 10am and every afternoon after 4pm. My days can be flexible where I can check in periodically as well— I am happy to coordinate as needed. I’m also off every Wednesday and am available over overnight stays. I welcome dogs into the home as well and am always willing to take them out to the beach, on trails, and any adventures in general!

“Claudia took great loving care of our dog Luna for the weekend. She sent me lots of photos and updates, which really set my mind at ease on Luna's first "sleep-away" from home. Claudia was very understanding in dealing with a year-old pup. I felt very comfortable leaving her in Claudia's safe, dog-friendly home. I will definitely take Luna to Claudia again!”

“Jacob, Simone, and Mango have been the most wonderful companions to my little pup over multiple trips away. From daily updates to adorable photos, your pup becomes part of their family, immediately. Could not be more grateful to have found them, and could not recommend more to anyone anxious about leaving behind their bestie while they have to pop out of town. THANK YOU!”
