“Marc took excellent care of our dog. We had a last minute cancellation with a different dog sitter but Marc came to our rescue. His communication was great and overall we are happy customers. 2 paws up!”

“Alexandra and Billy were great! My dogs enjoyed meeting them before their boarding date. They were most accommodating, friendly, and I loved that they kept sending pictures and videos! They even took them to a holiday dinner add their friend's house with lots of other dogs to play with!”

“Deandra and her family took wonderful care of my 5 month old puppy over the holidays. Charlie stayed with Deandra for 10 days and was given so much care and attention. She loved playing with their dog in the front yard, which was great socialization and tuckered Charlie out! Deandra sent daily updates which made me feel comforted to leave her for an extended timeframe. I highly recommend Deandra and plan to book her again!”

“Linda & Jason were very responsive and kept me updated on my pup while I was out of town. He had so much fun playing with their dog and family. It was great having peace of mind that my dog was well cared for while I was gone!”

“My dog had such a great weekend with Jenni and Sawyer. I got daily updates with pics/videos and a description of their day. It's so nice to be able to go out of town and not worry about my dog. I would definitely use Jenni as a sitter again!”

“My active and playful cattle dog had a wonderful time with Lynn and Marty. They made her feel at home immediately - opening up a treasure trove of doggie toys and giving her a warm and cosy spot to chill out when she needed it. On a very rainy weekend they made sure she still got to run around in their big and safe yard with ball throwing and fetch. At night they followed her usual routine at bedtime with great success -a good nights sleep had by all. I am very happy I have found Lynn and Marty as a home away from home for Darling.”

“Katherine & her husband were wonderful sitters. Before even confirming the booking, they took the time to drive up for a meet & greet, asking thoughtful questions about my pup’s routine, preferences, habits, etc. Katherine provided updates and photos multiple times a day, and was wonderful about accommodating pick up a few hours later than planned due to a flight delay. Would highly recommend Katherine & Sergio to other pet parents looking for a sitter. Thank you!”

About: I’ve spent over 30 years caring for dogs and other animals, both personally and professionally. My approach is intuitive, compassionate, and grounded in a lifetime of hands-on experience. I run a local Montecito dog walking business, working with dogs of all breeds and specializing in big, athletic, and high-energy dogs. Pet care fits naturally into my lifestyle. As a Montecito-based business owner and endurance athlete, I spend much of my time on the trails and beaches — often with a dog by my side. My lifelong love of animals, combined with my endurance background, makes me especially well-suited for larger or high-energy breeds. I genuinely love bonding with dogs and take pride in being a calm, confident presence — a natural pack leader they can trust. I care for the dogs I walk as if they were my own — with plenty of love, attention, and respect for their individual needs. I’m known for giving dogs the exercise they truly crave, whether that’s an energizing trail walk, a beach romp, or a steady neighborhood outing. I stay fully present and engaged, making sure each walk is safe, stimulating, and tailored to the dog’s energy level and personality.
“Kaitlyn was great with River! Super communicative and easy to work with and River seemed like he had a great time even amidst the heavy rains. We’ll definitely be reaching out next time we need someone to hang with River!”

“Todd was wonderful. I was in a pinch with my car so he drove out of his way to pick up and drop off my pup. He was very communicative and I could tell my buddy had an absolute blast. Thank you so so much.”

“Damian was a wonderful friend to George ! I would definitely recommend him if you need someone to take care of your pet. We haven’t left George with many new people and our dog seemed very happy and relaxed in Damian’s care. George had a few special needs and Damian had no problem making sure they were met. He also made it a point to take him out everyday to one of his favorite nature walks (the Douglas Preserve) where he could interact with other dogs, which George loves. Damian has a dog of his own so you can tell he has a love and intuitive understanding for our furry friends. He went above and beyond in care for our dog George! Thanks Damian.”

“As our first Rover experience, Lauren exceeded every expectation. She is smart, kind, extremely responsible, and took excellent care of our dog Buddy. Lauren sent us videos and updates so we never had to worry about how Buddy was doing. I heartily recommend Lauren to anyone needing dog care. We are so happy we have found her!!”

“Svetlana was a dream and our little guy loved staying with her. They went on adventures, walks and had a lot of fun together. She sent us tons of videos and pictures to make sure we were updated. I can tell she adores dogs and takes really good care of them :)”

About: Hi! I’m Kayla, a lifelong dog lover and animal person. I raised a 15-year-old Havanese from puppyhood through her senior years, and now share my life with Willow, my playful and social one-year-old cattle dog mix who absolutely loves having dog friends around. We live on a peaceful mountain property near Carpinteria with lots of outdoor space to explore. Our days are full but relaxed — usually a mix of time at home while I work on graduate school coursework, walks around the property, afternoon rest time, and beach outings or little adventures into town. I love matching each dog’s energy level — whether that means active hikes and play sessions or a slower-paced day with cozy naps and calm companionship. I’m currently in graduate school studying acupuncture, so I’m home most of the day and able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care. I also love sending photo and video updates so you can see your pup enjoying their stay. I have experience with training and behavior work, including helping raise a previously reactive rescue dog. While I have that background, I’m currently focused on hosting dogs who are comfortable social playmates for Willow, so I’m not taking reactive dogs at this time. Our home also includes chickens (securely enclosed), and I’m happy to accommodate pickups or coordinate logistics to make things easy. If you’re looking for a safe, loving environment where your dog can enjoy outdoor adventures, companionship, and attentive care — I’d love to connect! As a graduate acupuncture student, I spend most of my days at home studying, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, companionship, and structured care. Our daily routine includes relaxed time at home, walks around our mountain property near Carpinteria, rest breaks, and beach or town outings depending on your dog’s energy level. I’m able to accommodate active dogs who love adventure as well as pups who prefer a slower, cozy pace. Because I’m home frequently, dogs are rarely left alone and get lots of attention, enrichment, and outdoor time throughout the day. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We live on a peaceful mountain property with plenty of outdoor space and a calm home environment. This property is unfenced. My dog Willow is a friendly, playful cattle dog mix who enjoys respectful dog companions. Dogs are supervised during interactions and introductions are done thoughtfully to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I’m experienced with training and behavior awareness, comfortable administering basic care, and attentive to each dog’s individual needs and boundaries. Our chickens are securely enclosed. I provide regular photo/video updates and maintain clear communication so you always feel confident while your pet is in my care.
“We are so grateful for the wonderful experience they offered our dog. They were incredible at taking care of her and we never had to worry. They kept me updated the entire weekend and kept us updated. When I forgot to pack my leash, they were very prepared. 10/10 experience!!”

“Haven was wonderful with Nala! She kept her active by taking her to the park and beach! She also sent adorable pictures of her throughout the day. I would highly recommend her as a sitter!”
