1. Crystal S.

“This is the first time we have used Rover for our new dog. The other dog we have is very used to Rover visits. Crystal did a wonderful job so we could attend the SB Film Fest. Our new dog is very shy and reserved. We appreciated Crystal spending time to let her adjust. She took great care of both. We will definitely use her again.”

2. Benjamin S.

“Ben is awesome! He genuinely loves pets and took great care of my cats. Even my shy and timid boy loved him right away. I’ll definitely have Ben sit my kitties again.”

3. Kevin L.
About: Having grown up my whole life with animals including dogs of all ages, cats, rabbits, etc… I have learned a great deal about the different care and attention that various house pets require such as the administering of their medication and making sure they get the amount of physical activity they require every day. I am student at UCSb but right now I am back home for summer break and currently have an open availability for the whole week. I will treat your pets with the up most attention and care as if they were my own and provide you with updates throughout the day. I will respect your home and ensure the security and cleanliness of your home.

4. Jessie S.

“Jessie was amazing and took very good care of our two fur babies over the weekend while we were away. She even brought a couple of her dogs to play with them in our backyard. She made us feel confident that our dogs were in good hands and we will definitely ask her again to watch them when we are away. Thanks Jessie!”

5. Leanna G.

10. Jazmin M.
About: I’ve taken care of many different types of dogs breeds over the years from shepherds, golden retrievers, spaniels, and frenchies. I have my own dog, Kilo who is neutered and one and a half years old. Kilo has tons of energy so I am great at keeping any dog engaged. I have experience giving medications and providing for dog recovering from surgeries. I also have experience working to potty train puppies. I am a full time student at UCSB but my schedule has allowed me to have Monday, Wednesday, and Friday off along with the weekends! I have a fenced outdoor area and the dogs are also welcome inside as my house is puppy proof. I am also able to crate your dog when needed.

11. Kimberly S.

“Kimberly was truly amazing. She was able to look after our two cats last minute after our other cat sitter had a family emergency. She was incredibly responsive and made sure to keep us updated with very detailed notes and sent us the cutest photos which made my day. She even got our ghost cat to come out of hiding to play (no small feat)!! She went above and beyond when she cleaned all of the litter my cat decided to throw out of the litter box and around the bathroom (I am so sorry for that) and just was overall an amazing cat sitter. I cannot recommend Kimberly enough. We will be sure to contact her again in the future!”

12. Kelly K.
About: New to rover! Looking to spend more time with animals. I grew up with cats and dogs, and I miss them! I took care of a former coworker’s senior dog over the two week holiday break in 2023 and his name was Einstein, he was party deaf and blind. He was so sweet and I took him on walks twice a day, we took regular bathroom breaks and he was fed lots of treats and good meals. I love the companionship of animals and hope to experience more of it. I’m currently working only weekends and applying to other jobs. So I have plenty of time to care for pets during the week days I am available throughout the day to care take your pets. I like to care for pets with respect and affection in placement of the client. I always give Pets time to familiarize theirselves with my scent and to ensure they feel safe and comfortable. I am very respectful of their needs and environment. I love building positive relationships with the pets I sit and hope to do the same for you furry loved one.

13. Megan M.

“Glowing Review. Megan was responsive, friendly, communicative and thoughtful. So nice of her to send pics and let me know how my pup was doing when she checked in. Would Def recommend her to those who would like a kind and dog-loving walker for the day. You will be in good hands.”

14. Megan S.
“Megan helped us with our two dogs for Thirteen years. My husband and I had to travel for work often and depended on her while we worked from home to take care of our two pups when we could not. Megan was a blessing when my Dad was sick and always lightened the mood with her sense of humor. the dogs loved her so much they whined with excitement when her car pulled up. I consider her a friend and trusted dog sitter when I have needed her the most. She always brings a sense of humor and confidence to the door which is such a relief after having some very sketchy experiences.”

15. Jessica A.

“Jessica always takes care of my dogs when I need to go out of town or when I am unable to check on my dogs during the day. She always does a great job and I know my dogs are safe and happy with her. It gives me peace of mind. I highly recommend Jessica for taking care of your furry family members!!”

About: I’ve grown up in a family that loves animals, so naturally we’ve always had dogs around. After our old dog passed away from old age, we rescued two small dogs who quickly became part of the family. We treat them like royalty because they deserve nothing less and that's what i hope to share with your dogs. Taking care of animals isn’t just something I enjoy—it’s something I truly care about. I love spending time with them and making sure they’re happy and well cared for. I'm currently enrolled in college and on the UCSB women's volleyball team. Although it sounds busy there's always room to play with a puppy! My weekends are always free for any kind of sitting or walking, as well as my afternoons and nights during the weekdays. Since I’m currently in college, I can’t have pets at home, but I take pet sitting seriously. I respect your space and privacy, understand the importance of cleanliness, and always stay on top of tasks and schedules to make sure your pets get the care they need.

17. Kate & Mark S.

About: We live with our pup Stella and 3 bunnies. Our kids, age 10 and 12, love animals and are accustomed to helping dogs feel comfortable in a new place. Stella loves having other dogs to play with and snuggle with but also respects the space of dogs who are more solitary. Though Rover doesn't list rabbit/gerbil/guinea pig care, that is something we are experienced with and you can select “dog visit” for that. We also have cat care experience from fostering kittens. On a typical day someone is always at home. Our walks are usually on More Mesa but we also love hikes and beach walks! For tiny dogs we’re happy to limit the walks to our neighborhood for safety. Our pets are our family and safety is #1. We understand the level of trust you put in someone to have them cared for while you’re away.

18. Aya S.
“She is a very trustworthy person and loves dogs and cats. Incredibly, she has a special connection with doggies!! Very patient and clean as well.”

19. Natalie B.
“Natalie B is a very caring pet sitter. She has watched our three dogs on multiple occasions and have always been a responsible sitter and walker. Our pets love her and enjoy being with her. She always follows our instructions and gives us a good summary of events while we were away. You can trust your pet with her as she takes care of them like they are her own. I highly recommend her to anyone who is seeking a dog sitter or walker.”

20. Hannah W.
About: "Hannah. Thank you for house-sitting and taking care of both pets again. It's reassuring to know that the property is in good hands while we are traveling. The cat and dog also seem to appreciate having you as their caretaker. We hope that you will be able to help us again in the future." - Dan, owner of Punkin & Stella Look no further for a house sitter, dog walker, and overall caretaker that you can trust. My last dog Auggie was with me for 16 years and provided nothing short of unconditional love and joy. As the daughter of a local Dog Groomer in business for over 35 years, I have extensive experience caring, grooming, and walking dogs of all kinds. My intuitive, caring nature and years of experience are unmatched. I am a lifelong resident of Santa Barbara and would love to fill in the gaps that inevitably crop up in our busy and unpredictible lives. I am fully available: I have an open and flexible schedule throughout the week and weekend to attend to your pets and house sitting needs. House Sitting - I will happily travel to your home within my radius, stay during the day and night as agreed upon. I may leave the home for short periods of time. I'll consistently check and provide food, water, playtime and potty breaks. Drop-Ins - these are short visits where I check on them, take them for a potty break, refill food & water.
