About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my entire life and have lots of hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes. All of the dogs I’ve owned have been over 100 lbs, so I’m especially comfortable handling and caring for large breeds. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters, where I gained experience working with animals with different personalities, needs, and comfort levels. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, check-ins, and giving pets plenty of attention and love while their owners are away. What inspired me to begin my journey on this app is from when I volunteered at my local shelter to foster huskies, ranging from a day trip to week long care. About: I have a cat and dog of my own. For dogs, I rescued my dog at 1 years ago and trained him to do all the basic commands (sit, down, roll over, paw) and trained him to not pull on a leash. I’m open to doing that with your dog if you want. For cats, I know some are more shy and some are more outgoing. I’ve cat-sat for my family and friends and I have been in contact with different cat personalities I’m available most days from 9am-5pm to walk dogs or house-sit your pet. I am also available on weekdays all day to walk or do a check in In our home, we have trained both pets to wait and get be released when the door is open to go out. We also have fences up to make sure in case they get excited but we also make sure leashes are over before door is even opened
About: I have lots of experience working a variety of animals, since I grew up having to tend to dogs, cats, and birds. If a home is carpeted I do like to take the dogs out for potty breaks more frequently so as to avoid the pet going potty inside in places that would be more difficult to clean or remove stains.
