About: Although I don’t have any formal dog experience, I have grown up around dogs all my life. I have experience house/dog sitting for my friends and neighbors in high-school, and even more experience taking care of my families big dogs. Further, I have some experience taking care of senior dogs, as my late Akita spent nearly 5 years on intensive medication. I love playing with dogs, taking them on walks, going to the dog park, and making life good in the safety of their own homes. I’m a student at Santa Barbara City College, but my flexible schedule allows me to spend plenty of time with your animals! I have at least 2-4 hours a day available to spend playing with, walking, or otherwise taking care of your babies. I prioritize pet safety in my care. I listen carefully to your rules about where the animal is/isn’t allowed to go, and can provide intensive support for your animals. I make sure to spend time building trust with the animal using treats or soothing methods upon meeting them, so that they feel safe and comfortable around me.

About: I’m reliable and trustworthy, with experience caring for a variety of pets, from small dogs to active 1-year-old labs, as well as cats and chickens. I’ve watched multiple pets at the same time and can handle different needs, including giving medication or keeping up with high-energy animals. I’ve been watching pets since high school and grew up around dogs and cats, so being around animals comes naturally. I’m responsible, patient, and caring, and I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m a full-time working professional with a very flexible schedule that will allow me to drop in during the day or work from home if an all day shift is needed. Depending on my schedule I may be available for short notice requests and I don’t mind same day cancellation as long as there is no travel involved. I try to treat pets like family, giving them attention, patience, and care so they feel safe and comfortable. Every animal is different, so I adjust to their personality. Whether that is lots of playtime, quiet companionship, or giving them space when they need it. Animals are very intuitive, and I’ve found that bringing calm, loving energy helps them open up and feel at ease. About: I have proudly cared for my own dog for the past 9 years as well as my family and friend’s dogs as well, giving me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding, companionship, and overall pet care. I am a beginner to Rover, however I genuinely love animals and understand the importance of providing them with patience, attention, and a safe, caring environment. I treat every pet as if they were my own and strive to make them feel comfortable, happy, and loved. Pet care is already a regular part of my daily routine, as I have cared for my own dog for the past 9 years. I work full time during the week, but I am available after 6PM on weekdays for walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with pets. On weekends, I have open availability and can dedicate more time to longer walks, playtime, and personalized care. I enjoy spending time with animals and make it a priority to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible to help pets feel comfortable and secure. I ensure they have fresh water, are fed according to instructions, receive plenty of attention, exercise, and bathroom breaks, and are always kept safe. I also provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind while they are away. My goal is to treat every pet with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own dog.

I currently live in a house with four cats and frequently assist with pet care, including tasks such as feeding, grooming, cleaning litter, and playing with them. I also have recent experience with dog sitting, which included tasks such as feeding, playing, and taking them on walks. I also have experience volunteering in shelters and taking the dogs out for walks. I have experience caring for dogs of all background, including dogs with behavioral issues. I currently work full time Monday-Thursday and half days on Fridays, but I have an hour lunch that will allow me to check in on the pets. I am free any time after 4-5 pm Monday-Thursdays, after 12 pm on Fridays, and any time on weekends. I work in healthcare, so I am capable of being a responsible and compassionate caregiver. I will diligently follow instructions and ensure safety of the house. I have also worked with pets of different temperaments and behaviors, so I can care for pets of different backgrounds.
