About: I have experience in pet sitting for diverse kinds of dogs and cats, and I know that each pet requires a unique approach to accommodate their personalities! My life has always been filled with pets, and I am passionate about treating them with all the kindness and love they deserve. I am currently working part-time, so I have lots of time to care for your pet especially during the beginning of the week and on weekends. I don’t have the space to provide day care and boarding to pets, but I would be thrilled to travel to meet them at their own home, where they feel most comfortable.

Rachel is loving, compassionate, and best of all, knows how to appropriately handle large, dominant breeds. My Addie is an 80 pound, very strong, very dominant, plott hound. Rachel is the only person I trust to take her out for on and off leash walks around town. She knows how to read K9 body language, and has good judgement. About: Personally, I've had over 20 dogs throughout my lifetime. Mostly Chihuahuas but I had experience with other types of breeds throughout the years. I have been blessed to work with a couple cats as well. My previous job was working at a zoo where I had to work with many different types of animals. I had to accommodate to each of their needs, make sure they were properly taken care of, and stuck to the strict regimen that they had. From tarantulas to hedgehogs to parrots, I worked with quite a variety of animals. I am currently a student athlete and have wrote down what my schedule looks like on a weekly basis below. With client home care, animal owners can expect respect of their house, rules, and boundaries with the animal. They can also expect for there to be a lot of enrichment and affection shown to the animals. For care in the sitters home, they can expect the same values as I stated previously. There would also be a lot of physical activity and outdoor time if the animal’s itinerary and physical self allowed it. And if the animals cannot do physical activities or outdoor time, then we can easily make accommodations and adapt to whatever the animal needs.

“Amber was an amazing sitter for our 2 little Maltese pups. She sent us updates and sometimes photos or videos to reassure us while we were away. This is the first time we ever left them with a stranger. All went great. The girls were happy to see us again, of course, but they were very comfortable with Amber.
