About: I have been providing pet (dogs, cats, and small animals) and house sitting services in Santa Barbara for the past 5+ years and have worked with many breeds and ages, including senior dogs. I provide individualized and attentive care for your fur babies. I’m dedicated to ensuring your dogs wellbeing while you are away - that means attention, playtime, exercise, feeding, and practicing commands. This is my primary work and my schedule is dedicated first and foremost to pet care. I do not have any pets of my own and do not board more than one dog (or a preexisting pack of dogs) at a time. I am happy to crate your dog if your prefer. I do not have a yard but guarantee numerous walks of varying distance and length, depending on your dog”s needs.

About: I love pets every since I was a kid I’ve always had one and taken good care for them because they mean soo much to me and will always be my number 1 friend! Dog sitting and care for pets will always have time for me in any routine that am in because of the passion and love I have for them. My favorite part of my schedule is taking the dogs out for a walk, hike, or play around the park, or take them out for runs. I care for them like any other human I feed, care, love, and adore them. I take them out 3 times a day one in the morning, afternoon, and at night to walk, or use the bathroom, or any other type of requirements needed.

About: Mature and experienced. I love animals and will take care of your pet as if they are my own. I will support whatever you and your pet need to make our time together comfortable and safe. Great communication. I will update you as often as you like. I work from home and can make my schedule fit your pet's needs. I enjoy frequent breaks and walks, both short and long. Your pet will not be alone for more than four hours in one day. Your pet can enjoy the great outdoors in my fenced in yard (approximately 15x15 feet, as well as all of the spaces of my 3 bedroom townhome.

“Amber was great! In the 12 hours my golden retriever was with her, they went on multiple walks and she was exhausted by the time we got home (that’s a good thing). They were even walking when I arrived to pick her up! Super sweet, lots of photos that we loved seeing. I highly recommend!”

About: I have 10+ years of paid experience (and a lifetime without pay as I'm an avid pet owner) with many kinds of animals and life stages. I have extensive experience with reptiles, amphibians, freshwater fish, rats, mice, hamsters, birds, cats and dogs. Additionally, I am versed in hand feeding baby birds, general wound care, and K9 anal gland expression. I have rehabilitated and adopted out 4 dogs since the lockdown and find a lot of joy in K9 training and behavior modification. I work remotely from home which makes my schedule very flexible. That being said, just like our pets, I thrive off routine and will try to schedule pet care accordingly. If you have a weird request, please ask! I like to make things work :) I believe creating a positive environment for animals is critical. Animals cannot thrive when they are stressed, living in fear, or improperly cared for. For these reasons, I strive to know the individual and move at a pace appropriate for their needs. There is no stronger bond than one built on trust. Additionally, I clean up messes quickly and put much effort into animal husbandry and play.

About: I believe that all pets should experience living life and doing fun activities that we all do! I grew up with pets my whole life, having 2 dogs and 2 cats. What inspired me to begin my journey on this app is from when I volunteered at my local shelter to foster huskies, ranging from a day trip to week long care. I like to plan fun activities in advance with the pets to do throughout the day/weeks, which can be a fun stroll to the beach to collect seashells, going to downtown, and meeting new people at events (such as the farmers markets, makers markets, and more)! I make sure they are under the best possible care while still having fun :) I’m a current student, so I would appreciate if services are scheduled in advance. At the same time, I’m overall pretty flexible and tailors to clients needs. This can be scheduling, pricing, and instructions! I’m pretty flexible! Something as easy as dog walking or drop-ins I can basically do any time, but dog/ cat sitting needs a bit more preparation. Being a student, sometimes things can come up last minute. When given instructions, I am pretty on top of it. Any requests I would be more than happy to accommodate. No need to be afraid to ask questions! I listen to instructions well.

About: I’ve had dogs of my own for 10 years now and have lots of experience walking, feeding, and playing with dogs. I love dogs and personally have lots of energy and responsibility to take care of dogs. I’m great at communicating and will take the best care of your fur babies as well! I graduated in December and am currently working in downtown Santa Barbara with a flexible schedule :) Lots of down time to take care of your pet babies! I currently am living in Isla Vista with a big backyard and plenty of space to run and play! I have a dog of my own at home, a small corgi named Otis who loves new friends.

About: I’ve taken care of many different types of dogs breeds over the years from shepherds, golden retrievers, spaniels, and frenchies. I have my own dog, Kilo who is neutered and one and a half years old. Kilo has tons of energy so I am great at keeping any dog engaged. I have experience giving medications and providing for dog recovering from surgeries. I also have experience working to potty train puppies. I am a full time student at UCSB but my schedule has allowed me to have Monday, Wednesday, and Friday off along with the weekends! I have a fenced outdoor area and the dogs are also welcome inside as my house is puppy proof. I am also able to crate your dog when needed.

“This was my first time using rover and leaving my dog for day sitting. Last minute our sitter couldn’t watch our dog, so we brought her with us on our trip to Santa Barbara. We wanted to explore, but did not want to leave her in a motel room, so we looked for a doggie daycare. Honey was responsive and took our dog in last minute. Even on a holiday weekend. I was nervous about my dog having anxiety, but Honey was very friendly and communicated throughout the day to keep me posted about my dog’s day. She is excellent with animals and has a kind nature that dogs can sense. My dog was comfortable and she even got her to eat! Which is something my dog does not do when she’s away from home.
