About: Hello Families! I love all animals and ready to help care for yours while you're away! I grew up on a farm with my parents, and ever since I can remember, we've always had animals around. They ran a non-profit animal rescue for many years, and this taught me much about the responsibilities of caring for an animal. I was also able to learn about different breeds and their temperaments. Although they are nice to play with, we were also taught that with the pleasurable part, also comes the dirty work. I've cleaned much animal poop in my life! My sister and I have ridden horses since we were young, we've volunteered at different animal shelters, and we have brought injured animals into our home to take care of them. I recently graduated and received my Bachelor's degree. I'm continuing my education, which makes me available to go to your home during weekday evenings or weekends (all day). I also offer boarding at my home (24/7), which is safe and secure. I have several yards for your pet(s) to play and exercise. I can feed, administer medication if needed, exercise, clean litter-boxes, and give your pet(s) the love and attention they deserve! “Sholeh is very calm, attentive, and knows about dogs. My 10 month old golden retriever is timid at new places and still gets overstimulated on walks sometimes. Sholeh handled him patiently and positively. She also asked before offering the treats she prepared. She offered meet and greet before the sitting and really tried to know my dog. She read my dog’s profile and care instructions beforehand and remembered it. She always responded within a few minutes. She communicated well, she noticed any smallest discomfort in my dog, communicated with me and took great care of my dog. Overall, highly recommended.”

My first dog used to live in Santa Barbara with me but once we got our second dog, we decided to keep them in San Francisco, where they have more space. I am a PhD student, therefore my apartment's size is proportionate with my meager PhD income. But, I live right next to beach and trail access. I also have a car with dog friendly seatbelt to take dogs to farther parks and hikes. I have a love for all animals, and treat all animals with care and attention. This is the same attention I will give to your pet. I'm used to active dogs, dogs needing medical care or strict schedule, anxious dogs, and am always willing to learn on the job!

Your pet can enjoy the great outdoors in my fenced in yard (approximately 15x15 feet, as well as all of the spaces of my 3 bedroom townhome.

About: I believe that all pets should experience living life and doing fun activities that we all do! I grew up with pets my whole life, having 2 dogs and 2 cats. What inspired me to begin my journey on this app is from when I volunteered at my local shelter to foster huskies, ranging from a day trip to week long care. I like to plan fun activities in advance with the pets to do throughout the day/weeks, which can be a fun stroll to the beach to collect seashells, going to downtown, and meeting new people at events (such as the farmers markets, makers markets, and more)! I make sure they are under the best possible care while still having fun :) I’m a current student, so I would appreciate if services are scheduled in advance. At the same time, I’m overall pretty flexible and tailors to clients needs. This can be scheduling, pricing, and instructions! I’m pretty flexible! Something as easy as dog walking or drop-ins I can basically do any time, but dog/ cat sitting needs a bit more preparation. Being a student, sometimes things can come up last minute. When given instructions, I am pretty on top of it. Any requests I would be more than happy to accommodate. No need to be afraid to ask questions! I listen to instructions well.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with pets, and over the years I've cared for my own dogs as well as those of friends and family. Loving and caring for animals has never felt like a job to me - it's something that comes naturally. In 2023 I said goodbye to my beloved Boston Terrier, Roscoe, after 16 wonderful years together. Losing him was heartbreaking, and although I haven't felt ready for a new dog of my own just yet, I've deeply missed the companionship, laughter, and unconditional love that only animals can bring. That's one of the reasons I've joined Rover. Caring for these special family members feels like the perfect way to share that love again while helping pet parents feel completely at ease when they're away. What sets me apart is that your pet won't simply be watched - they'll be welcomed into a home where they'll receive genuine affection, companionship, and individualized care. I understand that every animal has their own personality, and I'll take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is for them to feel like they're staying with family, not just a sitter. I'm currently working from home in Santa Barbara, which gives me an extremely flexible scheduled allows me to be present with your pet throughput the day. My partner also works form home and is a lifelong animal lover, so your pet will always have companionship, supervision, and plenty of affection. Since we're home most of the day your pet will enjoy regular potty breaks, playtime, attention, and lots of opportunities to relax with us. If it's appropriate for your dog and approved by you, I'd also love to take them on at least one 30-60 minute walk each day, along with plenty of outdoor time in our secured yard. I'm happy to follow your pet's normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and at home while you're away. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. Our home is fully fenced and securely gated in both the front and the backyards, providing a safe space for supervised outdoor play, fresh air, and potty breaks throughout the day. We love spending time outside gardening and enjoying our yard, so your dog will have plenty of opportunities to join us while always being supervised. Fresh water is always available, and I'll carefully follow your instructions regarding feeding schedules, medications, exercise, favorite toys, sleeping arrangements, and any special needs or preferences your pet has. Most importantly, I'll treat your pet with the same love, patience, and care I'd give my own. I know how much trust it takes to leave a beloved family member with someone else, and I take that responsibility to heart. You'll get updates during their stay, and my hope is that when you return, your pet will have felt safe, happy, loved, and excited to come back again.
