Dog Walking Solvang

About: I have grown up with pets of all sizes and temperaments my entire life. From dogs to horses to livestock, I am very calm around new animals, even if they may be a bit anxious with new people, pets, and places. I do have my own rescue pup, Río, who loves to get outside for adventures, loves other animals, and loves to be by my side whenever possible. Whether you are in need of pet sitting, exercising, a dog daycation, and/or housesitting with your beloved pet(s), my first choice is always to have Río come along so long as that is something with which you and your pet(s) will be comfortable and enjoy. I grew up on the Central Coast and love to be outdoors and adventuring whether through hikes, long walks, eating out on pet dates at the amazing restaurants nearby, trips to the off leash beaches, or more. If that’s not your pet(s)’ speed and/or favorite things, I am also very into cozying up with them on the sofa or whatever activities may be their favorites as well. If you are in need of care for your horses or livestock, whether while looking for a house sitter or other times, I have a lifetime of experience with horses and am very able to feed, muck, hotwalk, etc. while house sitting or on a drop-in basis. I have not been riding much since returning back to the Central Coast from SF but pending the temperament and experience level necessary, after learning to ride horses much around the same time I was learning to walk, I am always open for an easy ride if needed for your horse(s) as well. Just message me and we can discuss further! Please note, if you foresee last-minute requests for daycare, check-ins, and/or dog walking being necessary in the future, please reach out to schedule a formal meet and greet anytime in advance so we may know that the pups are a good match prior to any late bookings becoming necessary. For my safety and the safety of my dogs and yours, I will not accept last-minute check-ins or dog walking requests without this meet and greet completed. Río and I always make sure to take time to get outside to exercise, take potty breaks on grass, and explore daily with an hour-2.5+ hours hike in the mornings and an hour long walk/run after work. Río and I are ideally a package deal so any dog(s), cat(s), and/or whatever pet(s) you are in need of caring for and giving some love to, please advise if they are dog-friendly and enjoy a workout but also love a good lounge throughout the day. For potty breaks and a bit of engagement during the work day, I have a privately fenced yard to pop outside for some sunshine and ball play any time throughout the day and night.

About: Since a very young age (about 5+), I have been taking care of a myriad of animals and learned animal body language from them. It was incredible and I learned a lot of valuable skills from them. After that, I took up teaching myself how to train dogs (plus puppies and cats) with positive training methods. It was a lot of fun and very rewarding to see how they engage, come together with themselves, and gaining a more fulfilling life. And now I am offering pet sitting! I have a lot of time and availability to care for your pet in the comfort of their own home. *Note: Puppies must have had all 3 of their puppy shots in order for me to accept. I work from home so my schedule is very free and available from short to long stays. Perfect for people who love to travel or need consistent daily routines for their pets. I care for my client's home with respect and great care. I like to keep things clean and feeling good for everyone. The pets I will be a good friend to, treating them with kindness, play time, exercise if needed, and being consistent with their desired routine.

About: In recent years, I have built a strong trustworthy reputation via more than 80 (yep, eighty) 5-star reviews on a leading house/pet care platform. Photos of some were in here, but the system removed them. Happy to share that information with you when we are in contact. Most sits span several weeks, with a 4-week minimum being easiest on the schedule. I do tend to book in advance. Because I have cared for senior pets (several being older than 15: both dogs and cats, some sight or hearing or limb-disabled), administered meds which also includes insulin shots, and managed various sizes and breeds, pet parents and high end homeowners appreciate this reliability and standard. In some cases, we have only Zoomed before a sit, and never met in-person. Due to great reciprocal communication, the results were wonderful. I offer experience both house & pet-sitting, and am a former (& future) homeowner. I’ve had all kinds of pets throughout my entire life. In adulthood, a Lhasa Apso was my co-pilot for 13 years, and I will have others. For now, I enjoy supporting and caring for yours. Let’s Zoom and take it from there. Looking forward. We will discuss this. Historically (for more than 20 years), I have been able to work from anywhere. We can talk through the options together. Unless you hire me for an overnight sit, I will be coming to them for drop-in or other care. I will not be bringing your pet(s) to my location.

About: I have had a pup of my own since he was 5 months. He’s given me lots of experience on how to house train and how to teach a dog manners amongst all the other shenanigans that comes with owning a dog. I’m also a part-time caregiver for seniors in their homes. I help assist them with daily tasks such as chores, cooking, as well as toileting and assistance with standing/sitting. This job has taught me patience and how to gently care for another as if they were my family. I’m currently a student who is also a part-time caregiver for seniors. My only class is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:20am-12:20pm, and my job schedule includes whatever client I am assigned to at the time. My schedule is very open, so I am flexible! I have a fenced yard with my one dog who hangs out with me when I am home. He is house-trained and well behaved, so he does not need a crate when I am gone. Though, I am able to easily crate your pup if that is what they need. I’d love to keep your dog company during check-in’s or stays, ensuring they feel safe and are given tons of pets while you are away!

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for animals in both professional and personal settings. I have worked with dogs for over three years, including experience at a pet resort where I was responsible for supervising and caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. My experience includes feeding, administering routine care, monitoring behavior and well-being, maintaining clean and safe environments, providing exercise and enrichment, and making sure each pet receives plenty of individual attention. I also have experience working in a grooming facility, which helped me become comfortable handling dogs with different temperaments and needs. In addition to dogs and cats, I have extensive experience caring for horses and other livestock, so I am confident working with both small and large animals. Animal care is something I take very seriously. I understand how difficult it can be to leave your pets with someone else, so my goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I am attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, and overall well-being, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. I am will be starting school at Cal Poly in the fall studying animal science. I do have a job at a dog kennel but have long enough breaks to be able to check on the dogs and I work about 3-4 days a week. I ensure all the animals have the proper amount of food everyday, along with making sure they have enough water. If there is no doggy door I let the animals out as frequently as needed. I always make sure they have lots of walks, playtime, and cuddles.

About: Can’t wait to hang out with your pet. I’ll always make sure they have fun with me. I’d love dogs but I think it’s a big step and prefer to be a sitter for now It fits in because I have a lot of free time and I’d love to spend time with animals !
