About: I've cared for pets of all sizes and personalities, from my own 3 pound Yorkie to 100 pound German Shepherds, as well as cats! I know every pet is unique, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I live in an apartment, but we have a fenced dog area where pets can safely get outside time and enjoy some play. I also take dogs on daily walks to help them stay active and happy. About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for over 10 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Every animal I encounter has its own identity and temperament, which is always fun and interesting to observe and base my care on. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. Time and again, it's proven to be the best way I've found to give personalized care to precious pets, and allow owners to truly enjoy their time away. My part-time library job offers me a lot of flexibility, leaving me the opportunity to do more of what I love. Traveling, exploring new areas, experiencing new food, going to music events, working out/walking, spiritual activities, and creative endeavors have a place in my life because of this balance. Of course that also includes one of the most rewarding ways to punctuate my life: house and pet sitting! I base my care around the individual needs of the pet and owner! Pets LOVE their routines, so I typically live in harmony with their modus operandi, on balance with my part-time engagements.

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for over 30 years and have also fostered kittens for the animal shelter that I later adopted. I am a substitute teacher during the regular school year and am otherwise a DoorDash driver. I would work my schedule around what you need. My cats stay indoors and my 2 dogs love hanging out on our front enclosed porch or lounging inside. They all get along quite well.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have always watched dogs for all my friends and family! I love having dogs around as it’s never a dull moment in the house! I currently work remote so I am always home and and ready to care for your fur babies! I currently work remote so I am home all day. My work schedule is 8am-5:30pm and I exercise by walking the riverbed by my house so it’s perfect for me and the pups! I have a fenced yard and a twelve year old beagle mix who loves to meet new friends! When I dog sit for friends or family, I set up a spot for them in my room and my pup in a separate room so they can have their space. I’m not a huge fan of leaving pups in the garage (unless requested) so they will always have a spot with me I their own bed!

About: I foster dogs from a nearby shelter and post them on social media to find them. Families tend to focus on the “hopeless” ones. Just to show how lovable they really are and how anybody would be in a bad mood if they had to live in a cold cage. I guarantee your pets will have a blast! Unless they just like laying around all day, then we could do that too. I have school until one, but after that i’m free to hang out with your furry friend! So feel free to drop them off anytime. I like to give treats a lot so if you don’t want your pal gain a couple of pounds, that's about the only thing you have to worry about happening to your pup! At my house, dogs are always going up and down on the couches. It’s really no problem at all and I’ve got a pretty decent sized backyard with a high fence to keep them from running off and lots of parks just a light walk away!
