About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for over 10 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Every animal I encounter has its own identity and temperament, which is always fun and interesting to observe and base my care on. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. Time and again, it's proven to be the best way I've found to give personalized care to precious pets, and allow owners to truly enjoy their time away. My part-time library job offers me a lot of flexibility, leaving me the opportunity to do more of what I love. Traveling, exploring new areas, experiencing new food, going to music events, working out/walking, spiritual activities, and creative endeavors have a place in my life because of this balance. Of course that also includes one of the most rewarding ways to punctuate my life: house and pet sitting! I base my care around the individual needs of the pet and owner! Pets LOVE their routines, so I typically live in harmony with their modus operandi, on balance with my part-time engagements.

About: I've cared for pets of all sizes and personalities, from my own 3 pound Yorkie to 100 pound German Shepherds, as well as cats! I know every pet is unique, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. About: I’m here to give your pet an at home experience. I’m a stay at home pet sitter & dog walker. I only take one family at a time, so you don’t have to worry about your pet being around others or not getting my full attention. About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for over 30 years and have also fostered kittens for the animal shelter that I later adopted. I am a substitute teacher during the regular school year and am otherwise a DoorDash driver. I would work my schedule around what you need. My cats stay indoors and my 2 dogs love hanging out on our front enclosed porch or lounging inside. They all get along quite well.

Saturday, Sunday, and Mondays I am normally completely free! I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, and I’m great at picking up on their little signals and quirks. Additionally, I adjust each walk to match every dog’s energy! ☀️ I keep things safe and comfy for every doggie such as checking the ground temperature, making sure they stay hydrated, and letting them enjoy plenty of sniff breaks. Whether it’s a short stroll or a long adventure, I bring happy energy, lots of love, and plenty of tail wags along the way. 🐾💛

I am also an amateur photographer so you will absolutely be receiving a great number of photos of your pets while under my care. About: My main priority is comfort and gaining trust from your furry friend so they can have as minimal stress as possible while you are away. I can accommodate any needs or routines your best friend might require (including: kennel, hygiene, oral medicine, exercise, and/or specific eating routines.) Born into a family of pets, I grew up alongside a loving black lab and and seven cats until I was about twelve years old. Around that time I started volunteering at my hometown’s Pitbull Rescue Center & I now have three sweet pit bulls, one with a bit of attitude so I have experience with extreme timidness and big dogs. Part of the training journey with all of them, from potty training to leash/order training. I do have experience with giving scheduled, oral medication as well as basic Canine First Aid. Not much makes me happier than animals do! I currently work part time so I can be away for up to 6 hours at a time. I am available for walks, sittings, and check-ins!
