About: Hello my name is Karen, I’m happy to help you with pet care arrangements. I myself have relied on Rover for times I needed to be away. I understand what pet parents may need and understand that sometimes this role needs to go above and beyond to make sure your pets are being cared for. Overall, I always had a pet in the home from childhood to adulthood. Giving me over 25 years of pet care responsibilities. Currently I am a pet parent to a German Shepherd, Dax, and black house cat, Kenny. I am observant of pet body language and in-tune with pet needs. My pets have ranged from outdoor kitties to leash reactive large breeds. I have used oral medicine and topical medicine, and am comfortable with pets post-surgery as well. Being away from your pet is difficult, I’m here to ease that worry for you. Again, I’m happy to help you for brief visits or extended periods. My schedule is wide open, unless otherwise stated in the calendar. My homebase is in Santa Maria, but I am willing to travel and service areas as far as Paso Robles, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande, and the places between. Including Solvang, Buellton, and Santa Ynez. If you do have questions about something more specific or time frames that are more specific to your needs please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to help you and make something work. I am cautious and aware, making sure that pets are safe at all times, I like to be preventative and think one step ahead. During walks, I am aware of my surroundings, if you have a specific route you walk I can stick to that route. Communication is key, making sure I am informed of anything that you need me to take note of. I’m always respectful of property and boundaries.

I only take one family at a time, so you don’t have to worry about your pet being around others or not getting my full attention. About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for over 30 years and have also fostered kittens for the animal shelter that I later adopted. I am a substitute teacher during the regular school year and am otherwise a DoorDash driver. I would work my schedule around what you need. My cats stay indoors and my 2 dogs love hanging out on our front enclosed porch or lounging inside. They all get along quite well.

About: Hello! My name is Calie! I am currently a Veterinary student and I have a Bachelor’s in Animal Science. I have been caring for and working with animals for about 13 years now! I have experienced with many species! From horses to hamsters, you name it! While I was in highschool and while I was pursuing my undergraduate degree, I worked as a veterinary assistant. I have very well rounded knowledge about veterinary medicine and know how to keep your pet as happy and as safe as possible! I am very comfortable giving medications orally or by injection while you are out of town if you happen to have an ill or senior pet. I would love to care for your pet and give you a great piece of mind that your babies are safe! Please reach out to me! About: I have many year of pet caring under my belt! I have two dogs of my own, one of which with special needs. I have been left in charge of my pets before and have shown that I am trusted to handle everything. I have experienced training both of my dogs, and have been in charge of administering insulin of my special needs dog. I have dog sat for my friends and neighbors in the past, and they have been very happy with results. I will treat every animal and house with respect, like they are my own. My schedule is somewhat flexible but on my work days they run pretty long. Dog walking in the morning or early afternoon is something that would work with my schedule. Any house sitting needs work during the week, and can be a little different on the weekend but it can still work! I will respect every home that I am invited to for dog sitting needs. I will be cautious of entering the home making sure all animals are secure and we have no escapees! I only offer out of home sitting, meaning no animal will be taken out of their own house for sitting. About: My main priority is comfort and gaining trust from your furry friend so they can have as minimal stress as possible while you are away. I can accommodate any needs or routines your best friend might require (including: kennel, hygiene, oral medicine, exercise, and/or specific eating routines.) Born into a family of pets, I grew up alongside a loving black lab and and seven cats until I was about twelve years old. Around that time I started volunteering at my hometown’s Pitbull Rescue Center & I now have three sweet pit bulls, one with a bit of attitude so I have experience with extreme timidness and big dogs. Part of the training journey with all of them, from potty training to leash/order training. I do have experience with giving scheduled, oral medication as well as basic Canine First Aid. Not much makes me happier than animals do! I currently work part time so I can be away for up to 6 hours at a time. I am available for walks, sittings, and check-ins! Just message me for my availability:) I won’t be doing any sitting or care out of my own home so, I do complimentary Meet & Greets at a park you’re comfortable with or at your home, preferably, as the dogs will benefit more from an in-home meeting so they feel in control:)

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have always watched dogs for all my friends and family! I love having dogs around as it’s never a dull moment in the house! I currently work remote so I am always home and and ready to care for your fur babies! I currently work remote so I am home all day. My work schedule is 8am-5:30pm and I exercise by walking the riverbed by my house so it’s perfect for me and the pups! I have a fenced yard and a twelve year old beagle mix who loves to meet new friends! When I dog sit for friends or family, I set up a spot for them in my room and my pup in a separate room so they can have their space. I’m not a huge fan of leaving pups in the garage (unless requested) so they will always have a spot with me I their own bed!
