About: Hello my name is Karen, I’m happy to help you with pet care arrangements. I myself have relied on Rover for times I needed to be away. I understand what pet parents may need and understand that sometimes this role needs to go above and beyond to make sure your pets are being cared for. Overall, I always had a pet in the home from childhood to adulthood. Giving me over 25 years of pet care responsibilities. Currently I am a pet parent to a German Shepherd, Dax, and black house cat, Kenny. I am observant of pet body language and in-tune with pet needs. My pets have ranged from outdoor kitties to leash reactive large breeds. I have used oral medicine and topical medicine, and am comfortable with pets post-surgery as well. Being away from your pet is difficult, I’m here to ease that worry for you. Again, I’m happy to help you for brief visits or extended periods. Please feel free to reach out and see if we can work together. 🐾❤️ This service requires trust and dependability, something that I can definitely deliver. My schedule is wide open, unless otherwise stated in the calendar. My homebase is in Santa Maria, but I am willing to travel and service areas as far as Paso Robles, Atascadero, San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, Arroyo Grande, and the places between. Including Solvang, Buellton, and Santa Ynez. If you do have questions about something more specific or time frames that are more specific to your needs please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to help you and make something work. I am cautious and aware, making sure that pets are safe at all times, I like to be preventative and think one step ahead. During walks, I am aware of my surroundings, if you have a specific route you walk I can stick to that route. Communication is key, making sure I am informed of anything that you need me to take note of. I’m always respectful of property and boundaries.

About: Lifelong dog owner with experience from puppies to seniors. Caring, reliable, and patient! Trusted by family, friends, and neighbors. Skilled in walks, play, and gentle, attentive care 🥰 Hi there! I am currently a student studying Acting & Musical Theatre at PCPA Conservatory, come see our shows! 🎭 My best walk times would be in the early morning and 4:30 - 6:30pm Tuesday - Friday; however, this varies weekly so I often have more time than this! Saturday, Sunday, and Mondays I am normally completely free! I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, and I’m great at picking up on their little signals and quirks. Additionally, I adjust each walk to match every dog’s energy! ☀️ I keep things safe and comfy for every doggie such as checking the ground temperature, making sure they stay hydrated, and letting them enjoy plenty of sniff breaks. Whether it’s a short stroll or a long adventure, I bring happy energy, lots of love, and plenty of tail wags along the way. 🐾💛

About: I’ve had dogs since I was little, I’ve always been a huge animal person. I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter before and loved it. I was always interested in becoming a vet but I would probably end up taking all the pups with no homes back home with me. I’ve had family members ask me to watch their pets while their away, I love being of service and love taking care of animals in any way I can. I would love to get to know your pets and have them excited every time I take them for a walk! I have plenty of time in the afternoon or evenings to take your dog on a nice long walk to the park, beach, or wherever you prefer! I love playing fetch with my dog, running with him or walking. My dog absolutely loves the beach so I love taking dogs to the beach. I love dog snuggles, I just love getting to know every dog I meet and learning about their unique personalities!

I am a substitute teacher during the regular school year and am otherwise a DoorDash driver. I would work my schedule around what you need. About: With over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, I treat every pet like family. What sets me apart is my deep understanding of each animal’s unique needs — from high-energy puppies to sweet senior companions. I'm trained in basic obedience for young dogs, experienced with medication administration, and attentive to special diets or mobility concerns. I believe communication is key, so you’ll always get photo updates and honest check-ins. Whether it’s a leisurely walk, playtime, or just comforting company, I’m here to provide consistent, loving care that keeps tails wagging and hearts happy. I'm recently retired, which means I have extra time on my hands—and I can't think of a better way to spend it than caring for your pets. My days are wide open for long beach walks, fun car rides, and even the occasional pup cup stop (a fan favorite!). Whether your pet needs mid-day playtime, a quiet companion, or a full day of adventures, I’ve got the flexibility to make it happen. My schedule is open and stress-free—just like your pet’s time with me will be! Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I create a calm, secure environment with plenty of affection, routine, and supervision—no crowded spaces or overwhelming noise. I keep a close eye on each pet’s behavior and body language to ensure they feel relaxed and understood. In my home, pets have access to clean, pet-friendly spaces, cozy rest spots, and a fenced outdoor area (or safe leash walks, if preferred). When caring for pets in your home, I respect your routines and follow your care instructions to the letter—because no one knows your pet better than you do.

About: Hello Families! I love all animals and ready to help care for yours while you're away! I grew up on a farm with my parents, and ever since I can remember, we've always had animals around. They ran a non-profit animal rescue for many years, and this taught me much about the responsibilities of caring for an animal. I was also able to learn about different breeds and their temperaments. Although they are nice to play with, we were also taught that with the pleasurable part, also comes the dirty work. I've cleaned much animal poop in my life! My sister and I have ridden horses since we were young, we've volunteered at different animal shelters, and we have brought injured animals into our home to take care of them. I recently graduated and received my Bachelor's degree. I'm continuing my education, which makes me available to go to your home during weekday evenings or weekends (all day). I also offer boarding at my home (24/7), which is safe and secure. I have several yards for your pet(s) to play and exercise. I can feed, administer medication if needed, exercise, clean litter-boxes, and give your pet(s) the love and attention they deserve! I understand your pet(s) have become part of your family, and I will take care of them as if they were my own! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask! I hope to hear from you soon! Thank you, Mia

About: I currently have a small senior dog at home so I’m no stranger to picky eaters and surprise accidents. I have experience administering subcutaneous fluid and oral medication. I also have experience with puppies and large breeds that love to pull. I can run your dog or we can go on a nice stroll and stop to smell all the flowers. Whatever your dog prefers I can provide a peaceful and positive experience. I’m also confident being around reactive dogs and know to provide a safe space for all animals on walks. I’d love to meet your pups and be their new walking buddy! I can provide care anytime of day on Thursdays. I work on the weekends and go to school during the week. If you need additional days during the week let me know! In my home my dog has a fenced in patio and a big grass lawn he can walk around. He has multiple beds throughout the home and a kennel, he eats usually 4 times a day.
