Unless they just like laying around all day, then we could do that too. I have school until one, but after that i’m free to hang out with your furry friend! So feel free to drop them off anytime. I like to give treats a lot so if you don’t want your pal gain a couple of pounds, that's about the only thing you have to worry about happening to your pup! At my house, dogs are always going up and down on the couches. About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for over 10 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. Time and again, it's proven to be the best way I've found to give personalized care to precious pets, and allow owners to truly enjoy their time away. My part-time library job offers me a lot of flexibility, leaving me the opportunity to do more of what I love. Traveling, exploring new areas, experiencing new food, going to music events, working out/walking, spiritual activities, and creative endeavors have a place in my life because of this balance. About: Hello Families! I love all animals and ready to help care for yours while you're away! I grew up on a farm with my parents, and ever since I can remember, we've always had animals around. They ran a non-profit animal rescue for many years, and this taught me much about the responsibilities of caring for an animal. I was also able to learn about different breeds and their temperaments. Although they are nice to play with, we were also taught that with the pleasurable part, also comes the dirty work. I've cleaned much animal poop in my life! My sister and I have ridden horses since we were young, we've volunteered at different animal shelters, and we have brought injured animals into our home to take care of them.
