About: Hello, My name is Nicole! With 9 years of being in the veterinary field & 8 years of house sitting experience, I will be a fun but mindful caretaker of your furry companion. I even aspire to possibly become their new best friend! From walks, hikes, kibble time & sleepovers I will be there for your pet whenever they need me. With my years of working at vet clinic I am comfortable taking care of special needs pets or pets who are on a prescription routine. I can promise you as proud pet mom myself that I will treat your loved one as if they were my own companion. Working at a local coffee roaster I have availability & flexibility to take care of your four legged friend with the needs they may require! Depending on what you are most comfortable with is where I will act on! I will always bring in communication with you, the owner, to make sure that all parties involved are happy!

About: I have grown up with pets of all sizes and temperaments my entire life. From dogs to horses to livestock, I am very calm around new animals, even if they may be a bit anxious with new people, pets, and places. I do have my own rescue pup, Río, who loves to get outside for adventures, loves other animals, and loves to be by my side whenever possible. Whether you are in need of pet sitting, exercising, a dog daycation, and/or housesitting with your beloved pet(s), my first choice is always to have Río come along so long as that is something with which you and your pet(s) will be comfortable and enjoy. I grew up on the Central Coast and love to be outdoors and adventuring whether through hikes, long walks, eating out on pet dates at the amazing restaurants nearby, trips to the off leash beaches, or more. If that’s not your pet(s)’ speed and/or favorite things, I am also very into cozying up with them on the sofa or whatever activities may be their favorites as well. If you are in need of care for your horses or livestock, whether while looking for a house sitter or other times, I have a lifetime of experience with horses and am very able to feed, muck, hotwalk, etc. while house sitting or on a drop-in basis. I have not been riding much since returning back to the Central Coast from SF but pending the temperament and experience level necessary, after learning to ride horses much around the same time I was learning to walk, I am always open for an easy ride if needed for your horse(s) as well. Just message me and we can discuss further! Please note, if you foresee last-minute requests for daycare, check-ins, and/or dog walking being necessary in the future, please reach out to schedule a formal meet and greet anytime in advance so we may know that the pups are a good match prior to any late bookings becoming necessary. For my safety and the safety of my dogs and yours, I will not accept last-minute check-ins or dog walking requests without this meet and greet completed. Río and I always make sure to take time to get outside to exercise, take potty breaks on grass, and explore daily with an hour-2.5+ hours hike in the mornings and an hour long walk/run after work. Río and I are ideally a package deal so any dog(s), cat(s), and/or whatever pet(s) you are in need of caring for and giving some love to, please advise if they are dog-friendly and enjoy a workout but also love a good lounge throughout the day. For potty breaks and a bit of engagement during the work day, I have a privately fenced yard to pop outside for some sunshine and ball play any time throughout the day and night.

About: Growing up on a ranch, I always loved animals and helped care for many. From fluffy mammals to slithery reptiles and even some amphibious friends, I've always had animals in my life. I'm no stranger to big dogs either, and right now, my world revolves around my sweet senior toy poodle, Marshmallow. Basically, if it has paws, scales, or fins, I've probably hung out with it, and I can't wait to hang out with your pet too! My extensive hands-on experience has given me a deep understanding of animal behavior and needs, ensuring your beloved pet receives the best possible care. I’m currently working part time as an ABA Behavioral Therapist, so I’m quite open to a variety of times and dates that will fit best for your schedule! When I care for your pets in your home, I make sure they stick to their usual routine as much as possible. This means feeding them on schedule, giving them their meds if needed, and making sure they get plenty of potty breaks and exercise. I'll play with them, offer lots of cuddles, and send you regular updates and photos so you can see how happy and comfortable they are. I treat your home with respect and leave it just as I found it, making sure your furry friends feel safe and loved while you're away.

About: In recent years, I have built a strong trustworthy reputation via more than 80 (yep, eighty) 5-star reviews on a leading house/pet care platform. Photos of some were in here, but the system removed them. Happy to share that information with you when we are in contact. Most sits span several weeks, with a 4-week minimum being easiest on the schedule. I do tend to book in advance. Because I have cared for senior pets (several being older than 15: both dogs and cats, some sight or hearing or limb-disabled), administered meds which also includes insulin shots, and managed various sizes and breeds, pet parents and high end homeowners appreciate this reliability and standard. In some cases, we have only Zoomed before a sit, and never met in-person. Due to great reciprocal communication, the results were wonderful. I offer experience both house & pet-sitting, and am a former (& future) homeowner. I’ve had all kinds of pets throughout my entire life. In adulthood, a Lhasa Apso was my co-pilot for 13 years, and I will have others. For now, I enjoy supporting and caring for yours. Let’s Zoom and take it from there. Looking forward. We will discuss this. Historically (for more than 20 years), I have been able to work from anywhere. We can talk through the options together. Unless you hire me for an overnight sit, I will be coming to them for drop-in or other care. I will not be bringing your pet(s) to my location.

My experience with dogs ranges from large to small, all energy levels, untrained puppies and seniors requiring medications. I was born an animal lover and pet care is my main job, so when your pets are with me they are getting 100% of my love and attention. I care for your pets as if they were my own. Ryan was totally flexible, accommodating and very professional in regards to anticipating and prepping for all of Sadie's needs. i would highly recommend Ryan and will definitely call him again when next in Santa Barbara! Sadie had a wonderful 3 hour romp at one beach and later the same day another 90 mins at another beach! Needless to say a tired dog is a happy dog and she slept well that night after a full body massage for well-exercised muscles!
