About: Hi! I’m Maddie, a caring and trustworthy veterinary technician with 11 years of experience in veterinary medicine. I currently working as a veterinary technician in specialty medicine in Santa Barbara, and have a lot of experience with dogs and cats. I received my bachelors degree in Animal Science at UC Davis, am currently working to become a registered veterinary technician, and I have also been petsitting for 4-5 years. I have two cats of my own, but also love dogs. I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, senior dogs, or those that have special needs or need to be medicated. Walks or check-ins are preferred due to my schedule, but overnight care can be discussed. I can’t wait to help care for your furry friends! I am available for walks or check ins early in the morning or in the evening on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I am available for 2-3 check ins per day and walks on my days off, generally Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. I love morning walks in town, so I would love to take your dogs on those walks! I care for the pets as the owners request. If they require to be crated at night I can do so, or if they must sleep in the bed and require cuddles, that can also be done! I keep the home very clean, taking out trash if needed and will often clean up before I leave. I also keep the pets feeding areas clean and change the water regularly. I can also medicate and will give medications as prescribed and as directed by the owner. I can also water plants, take the garbage cans out, or anything else needed while caring for the home.

About: I have grown up with large dogs since I was a young child. Growing up I frequently took care of relatives' animals when they were out of town. 3 years ago, in college, I adopted my own dog when he was 6 months old. He was completely untrained and afraid. I am proud to say that he and I both put in so much work into his training. I housebroke, leash-trained, and recall trained him on my own. He knows multiple commands and gets along with dogs of all sizes. He is one of the most important things in my life so I completely understand the love and care pet owners have when it comes to choosing care for their animals! I currently work part-time and am a law student (online). I do school from home in the evenings and spend a few hours each day studying. I am available to make 2-3 visits to your home for walks/potty breaks. I have a small fenced yard, quiet neighborhood, nearby dog park, 5 minutes from Hendry's beach. My dog is large but very gentle with small dogs and puppies. He also loves to rough house with dogs his size but is never too aggressive.

About: I have taken care of animals my whole life since I have grown up around several dogs and cats in my household. I began actually pet-sitting as a side job when I was fourteen years old. Now, at 20 years old I also housesit people's properties, walk dogs, provide drop-ins, and stay overnight to watch over pets. Not only have I taken care of cats and dogs, but farm animals as well including goats, sheep, horses, ponies, alpaca and chickens. I love being around all kinds of animals. I like to keep very open and quick response time with my communication. I want to make the owners feel safe and comfortable with me watching over their fur babies and their home. I am a part time student at Allan Hancock Community College in Santa Maria, and commute on weekdays from the Santa Ynez Valley. I work a part-time job on weekends as well. I have housesitting gigs and babysit whenever I am not at school or work. Through Rover, I am hoping to gain more regular clients and meet new people and their adorable fur babies. I enjoy quality time with cats and dogs. Am able to watch over farm animals as well. I stay on top of things and am very proficient. I appreciate through instructions, since each owner is particular with their routine with their pets. I am very flexible and am excited to help in anyway I can!

About: Working with animals is my passion. I grew up on a ranch taking care of dogs cats horses and other farm animals. I have extensive experience caring for animals of all sizes. I worked in a pet hospital in Santa Ynez for 2 years as a Kennel Technician caring for people pets. I’ve also worked on numerous ranches and farms raising livestock, and training working dogs and horses. I am a kind, educated, and responsible young person with the background and experience to back it up. I have a deep love for all animals, and specialized training in caring for dogs and horses. I am currently working Part-time in both Santa Ynez, and Ojai, CA. I am a very active and outdoorsy person so tending to animals fits in seamlessly into my weekly routines. My schedule is flexible and I am available on weekends. I live on a 10 acre fenced in property in Santa Ynez. I have one dog, a border collie named Sally. She is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. I also have horses, and chickens on the property that I am caring for. My home is doggy heaven, with ample space for pets to run around, play, and interact with other animals. I am happy to host your pet in my home, or yours.
