About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for over 10 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Every animal I encounter has its own identity and temperament, which is always fun and interesting to observe and base my care on. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. Time and again, it's proven to be the best way I've found to give personalized care to precious pets, and allow owners to truly enjoy their time away. My part-time library job offers me a lot of flexibility, leaving me the opportunity to do more of what I love. Traveling, exploring new areas, experiencing new food, going to music events, working out/walking, spiritual activities, and creative endeavors have a place in my life because of this balance. Of course that also includes one of the most rewarding ways to punctuate my life: house and pet sitting! I base my care around the individual needs of the pet and owner! Pets LOVE their routines, so I typically live in harmony with their modus operandi, on balance with my part-time engagements.

If I ever need to step out, a trusted family member is always home to make sure your pet is never left alone. You'll receive daily photo and video updates so you always know how your furry friend is doing. For drop-in visits, I care for your pet right in the comfort of their own home, following their routine exactly as you prefer. Each visit includes feeding, water refills, potty breaks, playtime, and love. And yes photos and videos are sent every single visit to give you peace of mind and a smile during your day! For walks, I make sure your pup gets fresh air, safe movement, and plenty of sniff time. Whether it’s a quick potty walk or a longer stroll, I tailor the pace and distance to your dog’s energy and needs. I’ll also send photos and a little walk summary with every outing so you know how it went and how your pup is feeling.

About: I foster dogs from a nearby shelter and post them on social media to find them. Families tend to focus on the “hopeless” ones. Just to show how lovable they really are and how anybody would be in a bad mood if they had to live in a cold cage. I guarantee your pets will have a blast! Unless they just like laying around all day, then we could do that too. I have school until one, but after that i’m free to hang out with your furry friend! So feel free to drop them off anytime. I like to give treats a lot so if you don’t want your pal gain a couple of pounds, that's about the only thing you have to worry about happening to your pup! At my house, dogs are always going up and down on the couches. It’s really no problem at all and I’ve got a pretty decent sized backyard with a high fence to keep them from running off and lots of parks just a light walk away!

About: I am a licensed Vet Tech who recently moved to the area. I have 10 years of experience working with a variety of animals in a clinical setting. Also, I have always had pets growing up as well. I can help you with anything from exercising your animal, boarding or even administering medications. I am new to the area and I currently have open availability. I have a dog of my own, but I am able to manage caring for your pet as well as my own. I have a fenced yard and a dog who loves to play. I can stay at your house or even have your pet stay over if needed. I currently live with my parents who are able to care for my dog if your pet needs more alone time. I can accommodate to whatever your pet needs.

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for over 30 years and have also fostered kittens for the animal shelter that I later adopted. I am a substitute teacher during the regular school year and am otherwise a DoorDash driver. I would work my schedule around what you need. My cats stay indoors and my 2 dogs love hanging out on our front enclosed porch or lounging inside. They all get along quite well.

About: I’ve had dogs and cat for the last 7-8 years. They have been so good to us and we’ve enjoyed them more than I imagined. I have a business that I’ve owned for seven years and I’m able to make my own schedule. Also, my homeschooled kids are home and willing to help if I ever need it. I have done 20+ years of babysitting and childcare in my home and other peoples homes. Plus, I’ve had clients that I have worked for and have trusted me with their keys to their home for seven years.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds from my personal dogs to animal shelter dogs for about 6 years. At the animal shelter I volunteered for both Orcutt and Santa Maria and I was there for about 2 years. I now work at the Santa Barbara Humane where I handle several different temperaments of animals and about to hit my 2 years working there. I’m currently working 4 10’s where i get 3 days of to enjoy the day with your babies. On the days that i do work i’m able to do drop ins during my lunch and after work at around 6. For the meantime im only doing in your home services due to my living situation but hopefully when i get my own place i can secure that your pets will be safe with me.

About: Here your pet will be cared for, as if it was sitting in your own living room. Your dogs can be walked and exercised if need be, or your pet can lounge around and take time off I can care for your animal at anytime just need 24 hour notice. Please be courtesy as I can only account for so many dogs, but I’ll try my best to accompany you and your families needs . I have a large backyard that’s fenced in, a lot of shade, and plenty of room to roam and explore. Your dog will be treated with love and respect.

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have always watched dogs for all my friends and family! I love having dogs around as it’s never a dull moment in the house! I currently work remote so I am always home and and ready to care for your fur babies! I currently work remote so I am home all day. My work schedule is 8am-5:30pm and I exercise by walking the riverbed by my house so it’s perfect for me and the pups! I have a fenced yard and a twelve year old beagle mix who loves to meet new friends! When I dog sit for friends or family, I set up a spot for them in my room and my pup in a separate room so they can have their space. I’m not a huge fan of leaving pups in the garage (unless requested) so they will always have a spot with me I their own bed!
