About: I am a licensed Vet Tech who recently moved to the area. I have 10 years of experience working with a variety of animals in a clinical setting. Also, I have always had pets growing up as well. I can help you with anything from exercising your animal, boarding or even administering medications. I am new to the area and I currently have open availability. I have a dog of my own, but I am able to manage caring for your pet as well as my own. I have a fenced yard and a dog who loves to play. I can stay at your house or even have your pet stay over if needed. I currently live with my parents who are able to care for my dog if your pet needs more alone time. I can accommodate to whatever your pet needs.

I live in a quiet, pet-free residence with a securely fenced yard where pets may roam freely. I also live with a kind old Catahoula who also tolerates other pets. Either whether you board your dog in my residence or in your residence, I have a clean and peaceful environment as well as adhering to your pet's schedule strictly to keep them feeling like home and loved. You can rely on me to treat them like family.

About: I grew up with animals and have always had a special connection with them. I have worked with animals of all walks of life in an animal shelter & truly enjoy getting to witness their success. When working at the animal shelter I used to take dogs on walks and to the play pens where they would socialize with potential new families and other dogs. While they were in the play pens it was my job to ensure things ran smoothly and to deescalate any situations that might arise. Being able to celebrate in an animals victories and see how much they have grown & learned over time is like nothing else! I am wholly committed to anything your pet may need during our time together, no interruptions unless there is an emergency. I would never do something to put your animals in harms way, I am incredibly thorough and will follow any specified instructions. About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for over 10 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. Every animal I encounter has its own identity and temperament, which is always fun and interesting to observe and base my care on. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). Pet sitting is a way for me to have the joy of loving and caring for a pet in an empathetic way: in their own home, on their own schedule, stepping into their owner's (figurative) shoes for a bit, to make *everyone* more comfortable. Time and again, it's proven to be the best way I've found to give personalized care to precious pets, and allow owners to truly enjoy their time away. My part-time library job offers me a lot of flexibility, leaving me the opportunity to do more of what I love. Traveling, exploring new areas, experiencing new food, going to music events, working out/walking, spiritual activities, and creative endeavors have a place in my life because of this balance. Of course that also includes one of the most rewarding ways to punctuate my life: house and pet sitting! I base my care around the individual needs of the pet and owner! Pets LOVE their routines, so I typically live in harmony with their modus operandi, on balance with my part-time engagements.

I’d love dogs but I think it’s a big step and prefer to be a sitter for now It fits in because I have a lot of free time and I’d love to spend time with animals ! About: I’ve had dogs and cat for the last 7-8 years. They have been so good to us and we’ve enjoyed them more than I imagined. I have a business that I’ve owned for seven years and I’m able to make my own schedule. Also, my homeschooled kids are home and willing to help if I ever need it. I have done 20+ years of babysitting and childcare in my home and other peoples homes. About: I’ve had many pets my entire life, I’ve been pet sitting since I was 12 years old, and currently work at a Pet Boarding/Daycare Facility. I’m a college student and working part-time at a local Pet Resort and would love to spend my free time helping and hanging out with even more animals! About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kinds from my personal dogs to animal shelter dogs for about 6 years. At the animal shelter I volunteered for both Orcutt and Santa Maria and I was there for about 2 years. I now work at the Santa Barbara Humane where I handle several different temperaments of animals and about to hit my 2 years working there. I’m currently working 4 10’s where i get 3 days of to enjoy the day with your babies. On the days that i do work i’m able to do drop ins during my lunch and after work at around 6. For the meantime im only doing in your home services due to my living situation but hopefully when i get my own place i can secure that your pets will be safe with me.

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for over 30 years and have also fostered kittens for the animal shelter that I later adopted. I am a substitute teacher during the regular school year and am otherwise a DoorDash driver. I would work my schedule around what you need. My cats stay indoors and my 2 dogs love hanging out on our front enclosed porch or lounging inside. They all get along quite well.

I have immensely enjoyed caring for animals, and would love to continue that even outside of work. Both cats and dogs are welcomed; I do have 2 cats of my own. I grew up surrounded by cats, so I would say I have that feline touch. I understand that cats have vastly different personalities and may not want to be touched or played with. But if your cat happens to love playing and being petted, then I will happily meet those needs. I believe that open communication and transparency is important, so you’ll receive regular updates on your pets well-being while you’re away. I am skilled at administering oral medications and even subcutaneous injections, if needed. As well as caring for special needs and or elderly pets. I am trained in understanding body language and how to recognize signs of illness in pets. I am mostly available for walks, drop-ins, and house sittings. I have a part time job, and I am a student, so I will update my calendar regularly to reflect my availability to properly care for your pet. About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and started dog sitting when I was 6 years old. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with a wide variety of pets and am comfortable caring for both common and more unusual animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, hamsters, snakes, reptiles, horses, and other small animals. I’m comfortable following individual feeding schedules, exercise routines, cleaning routines, medication instructions, and other special care needs. I understand that every animal is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, routine, likes, dislikes, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. I’m also comfortable caring for multiple types of animals in the same household. My goal is always to provide dependable, attentive care and make sure your pets receive the same love and attention they would get at home. I am currently not working at the moment, so I have my full days to give your pets the attention they need. Whether that be all day/night or just visits a few times a day. About: I have had a pet dog for several years in the past, and I more recently have been connected to households in my hometown neighborhood to provide petsitting care for 7 households so far. Having worked with aging and young dogs, and am able to administer medication and make sure they are nourished and able to exercise. I have also had the pleasure to care for chickens and cats. Additionally, I spent a year developing technician skills in professional pet grooming services in a veterinary setting.
