I am also very dependable and consistent — your pet's routine will always be respected with me. I'm a part-time employee and student, so I have a pretty flexible schedule to give your pets plenty of love and attention. I can generally accommodate mornings, afternoons, evenings, and even some weekends based on your needs and my work schedule. I’ll work with your schedule to make sure your pets are happy, safe, and never feel alone. Your safety and comfort are your pet's priority. I live in a quiet, pet-free residence with a securely fenced yard where pets may roam freely. I also live with a kind old Catahoula who also tolerates other pets. Either whether you board your dog in my residence or in your residence, I have a clean and peaceful environment as well as adhering to your pet's schedule strictly to keep them feeling like home and loved. About: I groomed dogs in 2022 & 2023 and developed genuine deep relationships that will last a lifetime. I truly appreciate each pets characteristics & personality. I’ve enjoyed thoroughly the time I’m blessed with in serving the communities furry friends! I’m available full time right now and am interested in short or extended stays I use the gym for an hour, 3 times a week but flexible there. Ready for new jobs to come my way. I’m always trying to insure pet safety 1st. I ensure they are heard and pay particular attention to changes in behaviors as these are tell tell signs of anxiety etc. Walking to bond and encouraging play is always pertinent . Talking in a loving way where they feel loved and ready to respond is vital to building trust.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for most of my life and started dog sitting when I was 6 years old. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with a wide variety of pets and am comfortable caring for both common and more unusual animals. I have experience with dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, hamsters, snakes, reptiles, horses, and other small animals. I’m comfortable following individual feeding schedules, exercise routines, cleaning routines, medication instructions, and other special care needs. I understand that every animal is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, routine, likes, dislikes, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. I’m also comfortable caring for multiple types of animals in the same household. My goal is always to provide dependable, attentive care and make sure your pets receive the same love and attention they would get at home. I am currently not working at the moment, so I have my full days to give your pets the attention they need. Whether that be all day/night or just visits a few times a day. When caring for pets in their home, I do my best to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable while their owner is away. About: I have taken care of many family & friends dogs and cats (and other types of pets) over the years. I have never had an issue with even the unruly ones. I am able to gain an animals trust quickly and am intuitive on how to approach them & care for them. I have a special needs nephew that I am a Respite Careworker for, I help administer his medications and am confident I can administer meds to any animal as well. I have also been taking care of my disabled mom for the last few years and am a mother of 2 (new empty nester). I have a lot of patience and don't get upset with messes. Everything is washable in my opinion. Although I will keep your house as tidy as possible if I am House Sitting for you. I live in Santa Maria, but am available for pet/house sitting in any part of Santa Barbara or San Luis Counties depending on the day(s). I would consider traveling further on the weekends if I am able. I am a responsible & trustworthy person, who genuinely enjoys caring for others. I work from home on Mon & Fri, so I am only unavailable during the day on Tues/Wed/Thurs. I am able to care for animals in the morning before I leave for work and every evening. I recently lost my dog at the ripe old age of 17, I used to walk my dog every day, so I know all the good dog walking spots in the area. I love hiking as well, so if your dog is up for it, I am happy to take them hiking too. I work in conjunction with my partner who is home during the day, so if there is a need for more exercise, feedings or medication during the day, we can facilitate that. I enjoy the company of animals, so they would be included in everything I do, as much as possible. I used to take my dog everywhere with me. I prefer caring for pets in their own homes, only because they are more comfortable there. My place is not very big, so it depends on how much space they are used to. I can sit 2-3 dogs at a time if they are not too big. I have room for a crate, but not more than one. I do have a is fenced in yard with a locked gate.

About: I have had a pet dog for several years in the past, and I more recently have been connected to households in my hometown neighborhood to provide petsitting care for 7 households so far. Having worked with aging and young dogs, and am able to administer medication and make sure they are nourished and able to exercise. I have also had the pleasure to care for chickens and cats. Additionally, I spent a year developing technician skills in professional pet grooming services in a veterinary setting. My passion for animal care began when I started volunteering with training and socializing cats and dogs at my local animal shelter. Last summer, I worked with baby birds at a wildlife clinic. After finishing school at UC Davis, I am still looking for part time or full time work. I am generally not busy outside the home for necessarily more than 5 hours at a time.
