To ensure every guest receives personalized attention, I have a maximum of two dogs at a time (from the same family only). If we are both out running errands, we are often back within a few hours and usually within an hour, but if there are any special needs for your pup, let me know and I can be sure to let you know if we can accommodate, such as having someone with your pup at all times. While I work during the day from an office, my spouse works from home and therefore is available to keep your pup company, let them go out to the bathroom, and if needed, is available for short play times. We will take your dog on daily walks and/or outdoor playtime and just let us know your dog's regular routine and we can try best to accommodate. In addition to play time, we will give your dog time to rest and they will get plenty of affection. Depending on the dog, we can also head out for a trail walk or a trip to a fenced dog park for a good run/play. You can expect photo and video updates daily (frequency based on your preference) so you can see how your pup is doing. Dog Walking: I'll pick up your dog and take them on a walk tailored to their energy and needs — neighborhood walks, hiking trails, or a fenced park for off-leash time if that's the right fit. Drop-In Visits: I'll stop by your home to visit with your pet(s), play with them, let dogs out to the bathroom, give them food and water and spend quality time with them. I can also care for other pets in the home, such as reptiles, fish, or plant, depending on what's required, an additional pet charge may apply. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks or sniffing the fresh air or enjoying the sunshine and a larger, unfenced area that I can take your pup(s) on short, leashed jaunts to sniff around. I can crate your dog, if ever needed.

About: To stay busy as a child, I walked and house sat practically the entire neighborhood’s beloved pet. Summer days were filled with miles of dog walking adventures with a dedicated cabinet to keep the hundreds of house keys safe. I am currently enrolled in Cal Poly’s Master’s program for Biomedical Engineering, which is completely virtual this quarter and likely next. This allows for a very flexible schedule with frequent study breaks for pet walks or visits. The remote lessons even allow me to listen to lectures while with your pet in your home for extended pet company. My house is close to the bike path and terrace hill for the perfect pet excursion sure to leave them tired and happy. About: I’ve taken care of animals - specifically cats and dogs - who were injured and/or abandoned out by the pound. It can be hard to ask for help with your pet! They’re your family! But I love them like they’re mine, too. Nothing made me happier growing up than sending needy animals to their happy, safe, forever homes. About: I've had the gift of house/pet sitting for over 10 years, and it is without a doubt the most rewarding job I've ever experienced! Personally, I've had dogs, cats, hamsters, fish, horses, and hermit crabs as pets, besides the odd rescued baby bird, bunny, or mouse. On top of cats, dogs, and fish, I've had the opportunity to care for alpacas, an African grey parrot, and saltwater fish/reefs, while pet sitting. I feel like such a winner when I get a standoffish animal to trust me! Throughout my life I've had an array of animals to bond with, though for a long period recently we had just one cat. Mournfully, a few years ago, my dad and I had to part with our beloved Stevie. She was our close companion for over 15 years, and I still miss her immensely. Her quirks and routines still cross my mind, which brings all the things that made her unique and lovable up into my heart. Pet sitting warms my heart, and definitely fills the need that I still have for animal companionship (but without the heartbreak). About: I would always help my sister take care of dogs when she was animal sitting on rover. I currently am babysitting and working for Respite so I have experience in childcare. I love animals and would love to make some extra money as a college student. I am currently attending Cuesta College twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
