“Jennifer was great when she met with us to go over their feeding schedule and portions, our pets felt well during the first meeting. she also kept us well informed during our trip, we felt comfortable that our three pets would be well taken care of. Thank you.”

“Alison was wonderful and patient with my doggies. She offered to come meet us before the weekend to get to know the dogs and their needs. I was able to show her how to administer meds and meals. On the days of booking, Alison followed all instructions and my pups were relaxed and happy when I retuned at the end of each day. It can be very hard to find help as a single person in a new town with senior dogs! Alison was wondeful and I would definitely book her again. I highly recommend.”

“Took care of my cat very well, including medicine and specific feeding instructions. My shy cat was able to trust her within a few days and I got daily pictures/updates; I'm very happy with Maria's drop ins!”

About: My name is Debbie. I live in a house with a fenced backyard with lots of grass. Your dog will be well cared for and treated like part of the family! I grew up on a ranch and have cared for many different animals over the years. I’ve had dogs my whole life. I have experience with blind and deaf dogs as well. I have one dog that is 5 years old. He is fun and loving. He is a medium size dog who would love a playmate on the weekends! I often take my dog to the dog park or to the beach for walks and play. Your best friend would be safe and have lots of love here. If you’d like more information just ask. I am available weekends and some afternoons/evenings. I offer doggy day care or overnight care as well. Let me know what your pets needs are. I have a fenced grassy back yard with shade. Pets are also allowed in my house. If your pet sleeps in a crate I can do that or if they sleep on the couch or a bed I can do that as well. I am flexible with their needs.

About: I've cared for pets of all sizes and personalities, from my own 3 pound Yorkie to 100 pound German Shepherds, as well as cats! I know every pet is unique, so I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or older, I'll provide reliable, attentive care and treat them like they're part of my own family. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because I'm currently attending college online, which means I'm home most of the day and have a very flexible schedule. I'm available on both weekdays and weekends! Since I'm home, your pet will get plenty of attention, care, and companionship rather than being left alone for long periods. I live in an apartment, but we have a fenced dog area where pets can safely get outside time and enjoy some play. I also take dogs on daily walks to help them stay active and happy. I have a friendly dog of my own who loves having a companion around, but I always make sure to respect each pet’s individual personality and comfort level. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on keeping their routine as normal as possible :)

“Needed a last minute dog sitter and stumbled across Cassandras page. She was very responsive and very professional when we did the meet and greet. Arrived early for each visit. Look forward to using her again.”
“This was our first Rover and we absolutely had the best on the first. Krystal is personable, kind, trustworthy, and goes the extra mile to make sure your pets aren’t just taken care of, but that they are also happy. We fully recommend her for your pets, and when the opportunity arises again, we will for sure be reaching out to her!”

About: I’ve cared for my own dogs and cats for over 30 years and have also fostered kittens for the animal shelter that I later adopted. I am a substitute teacher during the regular school year and am otherwise a DoorDash driver. I would work my schedule around what you need. My cats stay indoors and my 2 dogs love hanging out on our front enclosed porch or lounging inside. They all get along quite well.
About: Lifelong dog owner with experience from puppies to seniors. Caring, reliable, and patient! Trusted by family, friends, and neighbors. Skilled in walks, play, and gentle, attentive care 🥰 Hi there! I am currently a student studying Acting & Musical Theatre at PCPA Conservatory, come see our shows! 🎭 My best walk times would be in the early morning and 4:30 - 6:30pm Tuesday - Friday; however, this varies weekly so I often have more time than this! Saturday, Sunday, and Mondays I am normally completely free! I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, and I’m great at picking up on their little signals and quirks. Additionally, I adjust each walk to match every dog’s energy! ☀️ I keep things safe and comfy for every doggie such as checking the ground temperature, making sure they stay hydrated, and letting them enjoy plenty of sniff breaks. Whether it’s a short stroll or a long adventure, I bring happy energy, lots of love, and plenty of tail wags along the way. 🐾💛

When I dog sit for friends or family, I set up a spot for them in my room and my pup in a separate room so they can have their space. Krystal did a fantastic job taking care of my cat. They got to be great pals. She paid a lot of attention to her. My kitty usually runs from new humans that she doesn’t know. But she seemed immediately comfortable with Krystal. I am really happy with how things went. Krystal is trustworthy and really good with animals.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
