“Monique was great! We scheduled last minute for an out of town trip and there were no issues, Monique happily accepted our request. She was such welcoming and kind person. We received updates with pictures of our pup and he seemed like he was right at home. Such a good experience with Monique and we’d definitely request her again.”

“We had to board our pomeranian last minute for 3 days and I’m so thankful we found Krystal! She is very sweet and always keeps us updated! We love that she sends us pictures and videos of our baby to help us relax and enjoy our trip knowing that she’s in good hands ❤️ We highly recommend her and would def book with her again when needed! 🥰”

“Lillylu stayed with Kyle and Sara for 14 days. I received daily updates with a photo or video. Lilly was a happy , loved and cared for doggie in their care. They were so kind as to give Lilly an Oatmeal bath before my return. I feel so blessed that I found the perfect fit for my Lillylu. ❤️🐶❤️”

“Stephanie was absolutely amazing while babysitting my dog, Cooper, during my time away. She went above and beyond to give me constant updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was clear that she treated Cooper just as I would at home—he looked so happy, comfortable, and well cared for in every update. I am eternally grateful for her kindness, attentiveness, and dedication. I would wholeheartedly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for top-notch pet care!”

“Mer took such good care of our Tank, an English Bulldog. She sent photos every one to two days with a brief update which was very much appreciated. I had taken him to meet her before making the reservation and he seemed to love it there. When we dropped him off at the start of the reserved time he seemed happy to be there.”

“Miki was great! I would highly recommend her. I really like that she boarded my dog only, as she has two small dogs of her own. Miki gave me daily updates on how Annie was doing and sent me lots of pictures and videos through the Rover app. I would definitely use her again. Her two young daughters and husband were very sweet too! They took really good care of my precious girl.”

About: Hi, my name is Landon, I'm from Salinas, California and it's my second year living in Eugene. I attended the university last year and now I'm taking a gap year to get my financials in order, in state tuition, etc. so I can finish my degree. My girlfriend and I have been together 3 years and her parents have 17 and 20 years of experience in the animal field. Her dad is one of the head animal control officers for Monterey County (where we're from) and has taught both of us so much about dogs and cats. Whether it be training methods, foods that are better than others, how to recognize certain behavioral habits, or any problem we come to him with, her dad has taught us how to truly take the best care of a dog. If I were to be accepted to take care of your pet, I would use all of my tools and knowledge and my whole heart to show your furry kid love. Currently, I'm looking for any job so my schedule is wide open! Caring for your pet will be at the top of my list as soon as I hear I can take care of them. So I unfortunately would not be able to care for pets at my house for extended periods of time, as my place doesn't allow ownership of pets, but one night wouldn't hurt at all. Any pet I encounter I treat as if it were my own, and with that comes smothering them with love, and caring to meet their needs as a pup while to a certain degree, spoiling them!
“Mary & Teg are amazing!! They gave my 1.5 year old pug Ziah so much love. I felt 100% at peace and comfortable while gone on my vacation. They sent pictures, short video clips and even face timed me. She just looked happy, warm and content. I HIGHLY recommend them and will without a doubt choose Mary & Teg to watch my little girl every time!! Thank you!!!!”

“Katie was so wonderful! My dog came home relaxed and tired from all the fun. I can tell she was properly cared for and given a lot of attention and exercise. I was so grateful for Katie’s kindness and understanding of my special, quirky dog.”

“Anna was so good with my girls and sent tons of pics and video updates without prompt which I appreciated. She also played with them a lot as they are high energy and even gave one a bath when she got into dirt outside. My girls had a great time with her family.”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
