More than family pet care
Since I was 14, I had so much fun taking care of dogs and other pets on a regular basis. This has included when there owners went out of town or when they needed extra medical help. We were raised with dogs, cats, snakes, frogs, rodents, etc. Each and every little life is so unique and important. I still truly enjoy giving genuine care to animals and making them feel comfortable with our family.

Marin was wonderful. I had a puppy with an upset tummy and she nursed him back to health. I could see that my two dogs were very happy there.

After meeting with several different providers on Rover, I ultimately chose to book with Marin. I am very glad I made this decision. From the first meeting I felt extremely comfortable with her and the care she would provide for my old girl in her home. She has had experience with aging and older pets, she has the calm demeanor and patience that it takes while dealing with symptoms of aging and decreased mobility. I got pictures often and she was very attentive. I was out of the country and Marin did everything in her power to keep me updated and comfortable the entire 21 days. I would recommend Marin and will absolutely be rebooking for any future needs.
This was the first time ever leaving Annie. I had anxiety which I am sure I pass onto Annie. Annie displayed some poor behavior, very unlike her early on, but Marin recognized this as anxiety and immediately put into place security and affection, investing an abundance of one on one time with Annie, walks, playing with family and just feeling included. Marin set comfortable boundaries with Annie that she was accustomed to and really put Annie at ease. Marin went above and beyond to help Annie feel comfortable, secure and loved. Marin kept us informed regularly with pictures and texts. Huge thumbs up review of Marin!

Schedule
I work part-time, flexible work. I will make myself available to exceed the needs of your pet. My purpose is to go above and beyond to ensure each animal is happy and content with their temporary home with me.

Safety, trust & environment
Our spacious yard is securely fenced all the way around. We have 2 small friendly dogs of our own- one is older and blind and mostly sleeps, the other is a funny and easily likable little ewok creature. We can keep them separate or together for companionship. All dogs will be sure to have plenty of space and positive interaction whichever way you prefer. I have 3 respectful children that love animals as well and can also keep separated if wanted. We live in a nice area with kind neighbors. Walks and play in parks can be included.

A typical day
I understand how important it is to stimulate your dogs physically and mentally. I want every dog that stays with me to feel at home, being comfortable and calm. Play and exercise is essential for a happy pet. Love and individual care will always be shown to help your dog feel the most at ease.
