“I'm a type A worry wart when it comes to my furry family members. I am so very thankful that Kayla was able to help us navigate a last minute request to look in on my dog and cat. Kayla was super sweet with both our dog and cat (our dog was super sad to have them only for visits!) and we are so thankful for their help!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cat for the last 7-8 years. They have been so good to us and we’ve enjoyed them more than I imagined. I have a business that I’ve owned for seven years and I’m able to make my own schedule. Also, my homeschooled kids are home and willing to help if I ever need it. I have done 20+ years of babysitting and childcare in my home and other peoples homes. Plus, I’ve had clients that I have worked for and have trusted me with their keys to their home for seven years.
“I have noticed major improvements in my Rottweiler's separation anxiety and overall well-being since Aline started walking her. There's no doubt that this is because of Aline's reliability, kind spirit and helpfulness. It is so reassuring to know she is there for my dog when I can't be!”

About: Hi! I’m Beverly, a registered nurse, wife, and mom to two boys. Our family loves animals, and dogs have always been a big part of our lives. We have experience caring for both large and small breeds and understand that every dog has their own unique personality and needs. One of the reasons I joined Rover is because my 9 year old son, Andrew, loves dogs and is hoping to earn a little extra summer spending money while learning responsibility and the value of hard work. Any dog walks, drop in visits, or pet sitting services will be booked through me and supervised by me, but Andrew loves helping give extra attention, playtime, and walks to our furry guests. As a family, we enjoy being outdoors and taking walks together, so your pup will receive plenty of exercise, affection, and companionship. Whether your dog needs a walk, a check in while you’re away, or loving care during a longer stay, we’ll treat them like part of our family. We look forward to meeting you and your four legged family member! Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because we already enjoy family walks, outdoor time, and spending time with animals. My flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable visits, walks, feedings, and check ins throughout the day. My son Andrew loves helping care for dogs, making sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. We understand that dogs are most comfortable in their own home, and we are happy to provide loving care in a familiar environment while you’re away. We will follow your pet’s normal routine, including walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of attention and affection. As a nurse and lifelong dog owner, I know how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your family member, and my son Andrew loves helping give dogs extra companionship and exercise.
About: Hi there! I’m Miki, based in Arroyo Grande, CA. I’m back on Rover after taking a break for a while. I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and have over 10 years of pet sitting experience — both personally and on Rover. At home, we have: • Lucy, our sweet senior Shih Tzu who loves her naps and quiet time • Anko, a playful 1-year-old Lab mix who’s board-and-train certified and loves making new doggie friends 🐶✨ Whether your pup prefers cozy relaxation or a fun playmate, our home offers the perfect balance. We take long walks, visit local dog parks (like Laguna Lake), and treat every dog like a member of the family. ✅ Dog-loving household ✅ I work from home 100% ✅ Experienced with both seniors and high-energy pups ✅ Safe, warm, and communication-friendly environment Looking forward to meeting your pup and providing the “feels like home” care my returning clients know and love! 🐾✨ I stay at home pretty much all day every day as I work from home. Especially when your doggy stays with us, I don’t leave the house unless it’s really necessary or go to park with doggies. Our front yard door stays open all day so doggies can go in and out whenever they want. I have a fenced yard, so they can play outside anytime they want. I usually leave the back yard door open so dogs can go out whenever they want.
About: Growing up on a ranch, I’ve been around animals my whole life and have cared for pets for friends and family over the years. I’m comfortable with different personalities and routines, and I always make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for. I treat them like my own and try to keep things as normal and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Available evenings and weekends. I’m flexible, reliable, and able to give pets my full attention, while keeping their routine consistent and stress-free. I can also accommodate last minute bookings when possible. I try to keep things as normal as possible for your pet by sticking to their routine. I make sure they’re fed, exercised, and getting plenty of attention, while also keeping your home clean and respected. I adjust to each pet’s personality and always keep you updated so you know they’re happy and in good hands.
About: Dogs are sent from God to make human lives complete. I'm lucky to have 1 well-adjusted one. It's a privilege to spend time around dogs; I treat them with respect and also have expectations for them. The result: a happy pack! (When you're making your dog care choice, please know I prefer dogs who are potty / house trained & treated for flea / tick). Dogs are like my children. They're having fun and learning at the same time. Exercise, water, attention and play time is what makes a good dog! They're a priority when they're with me and no decisions are made without considering how it affects my dog / dogs. I understand each dog is unique; they have their own personality and experiences which make them who they are. That being said, there isn't a "cookie cutter" way to treat a dog. Knowing each one, what they fear or love, what it takes to make them happy is what makes for a good outcome. My ultimate goal is for your dog to leap out of your car when he / she arrives at my home or sees me walk through your door.
“Caitlin goes above and beyond the call of duty and it shows! My doggo is super attached to me so wasn’t so excited to go on a walk with her on their first day. Because she took the time to build his trust and spends extra time with him to build an alliance, I have nothing but great things to say about her!”

About: Can’t wait to hang out with your pet. I’ll always make sure they have fun with me. I’d love dogs but I think it’s a big step and prefer to be a sitter for now It fits in because I have a lot of free time and I’d love to spend time with animals ! Also I really love that I can get out and exercise and I am adding that to my daily routine Making sure my home or clean and free of any harm to animals or any one really. I live near the beach. So it’s perfect for a walk and there is a dog park nearby
About: I have owned and taken care of pets all my life. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and cats as well. I have experience with small animals and aquatic pets as well. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I recently graduated from college and am now a full-time teacher. Now that it is summer, my availability has opened up. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I am able to provide consistent walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention, affection, and companionship. Whether I am dog walking or pet sitting, ensuring trust and pet safety is my number 1 priority. I understand the importance of building trust with both the pets and their owners, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure in my presence. For pet sitting, I create a nurturing environment by following the pet's usual routines, providing plenty of affection and attention, and keeping the surroundings clean and comfortable. I adhere to strict safety protocols for dog walking, including using secure leashes, monitoring pet health, and using safe routes. My goal is to offer peace of mind to pet owners, knowing their beloved pets are in caring and capable hands.
About: I've had pets my entire life and I love animals of all kinds! I've been pet sitting since I was 15 and also worked at Woods Humane Society for a year in 2019. I learned great training in animal care while there and how to take care of your pets even better! 😊 I'm a work from home artist and have a dog of my own at home. I have a decent amount of time in my weekly schedule right now to look after your pets! I have a reactive dog at home so unfortunately I can't have your pets in my home, but I would love to take care of your pups at your home or even stay for over nights if needed! 😊
About: Every creature I meet - from fuzzy, waggy, purry fluff balls to mysterious little pocket-sized critters - is an adventure waiting to happen. I greet each one with sparkling excitement and big-hearted curiosity and love. 🏡🐶🐱 Due to remote working, I’m always here for your animal!! Animals at my house get the luxury of having interaction at their paws 🐾 Animals know I understand their secret frequency. My patience, gentleness, and playful spirit make them feel like they've found their long-lost best friend. I’ve had animals by my side my whole life, which is probably why I’m basically an animal whisperer at this point. They sense my intuition — that soft, instinctive way I know exactly what they need, whether it's a snack, a cuddle, or something else. Animals aren't just pets. They're honorary members of my family; my tiny roommates with fur. My home is their kingdom; my heart is their cozy lounge. Where I go, animals follow — because they know I’m the kind of human who truly gets them. I don’t just fit animals into my schedule — I weave them into my day. My routine is delightfully flexible, perfectly shaped to welcome paws. My schedule is flexible and intuitive, allowing me to build in regular check-ins, feeding times, walks, and play sessions without stress or disruption. I move through my tasks with patience, intuition, and a sprinkle of magic — knowing exactly when a dog needs an extra trot around the block or when a cat needs a dramatic feather-toy performance. Animals slip into my schedule so naturally you’d think they helped design it. To every pet I care for, I’m the whimsical guardian who arrives right when they need me — the keeper of routines, the bringer of fun, and the human who makes their day just a little more sparkly. Safety begins with awareness, consistency, and preparation. When caring for an animal, I create a space where their physical well-being is always the first priority. That means secure environments (no open doors if they are not allowed out, hazardous items, or unsafe spaces), proper handling, and mindful supervision during walks, play, or feeding. I pay attention to their routines, health cues, and comfort levels, making sure they’re protected from stress, danger, or anything unfamiliar that could overwhelm them. A safe animal is a relaxed animal — and I make that possible. A good environment is one that supports an animal’s emotional and physical needs. I create spaces that feel safe, comfortable, and full of enrichment — spots for quiet rest, opportunities for play, and room to explore without fear. My presence makes the environment even better: calm, welcoming, and filled with positive interactions. Whether the animal is staying in my home or I’m in theirs, I make sure their surroundings feel familiar, soothing, and full of the little comforts that help them thrive.
About: I've had multiple dogs throughout my life, most starting from puppies. My wife and I are dog lovers and we have 3 pugs of our own. We have had multiple big dogs at once but when they passed on, we decided to go the smaller route. We have housed multiple dogs at once for the weekend, done dog walking for friends and family and now wish to help out our community. If you need anything, please reach out to see if I can be of assistance. I'm used to walking large breed dogs and can even take them out to the dog beach if wanted. I can walk your dogs, bathe, feed, play, take to the beach, or just lay around with them. I do have 3 pugs that live with us so if you do need us to board, please let me know if they are not friendly and I can keep them away from each other. I have a fenced backyard, but all dogs are welcomed inside our home and allowed on furniture. Our fur babies are family and are treated like royalty and all pups inside our home get the same treatment. I can abide by any special diet restrictions or time for feedings. Our dogs eat twice a day with an occasional treat. Please let me know if treats are not allowed

Grace was always punctual, positive and truly enjoyed being with my pet. She was organized and worked out times and dates with me in advance of her walks. I recommend her highly to anyone who is looking for an energetic person to care for their animal. Please contact me, I can’t sing her praises enough.
I couldn’t recommend Shawn enough! He took such great care of my dog, was a great communicator, reliable, and sent updates everyday. I could tell my dog was in great hands and he looked very happy in every video or photo update I received. I would definitely hire Shawn again. Thank you, Shawn!

Met up with Hannah for a meet and greet with my dog and she was great. My husky is a tough guy to walk sometimes if you lack confidence but she took him on and had full control. I’m excited to continue to work with Hannah and for her and my dog to build a relationship. Can’t wait for the next walk!

Travis came through for me in a pinch when I injured myself and couldn't walk my dogs. The dogs came back from their walks happy and satisfied and Travis communicated how they did, verbally and through their doggy report cards. ☺️ It's great to have an extra set of trusted hands.
