About: I currently work at a dog kennel in San Luis Obispo. I volunteer at the department of animal services and walk dogs that are available for adoption and I’ve worked in 3 different veterinary hospitals I have a part time job in San Luis Obispo , so I’m available in the afternoons and evenings. My days off are usually pretty open. I have 2 fenced in patios. So pets can go outside and be protected. My personal cat is able to go outside and get some sun.

About: When i started taking care of my family’s dog, it was high maintenance, but also a very rewarding experience! Being surrounded by cats and dogd brings me great joy in life. I am a student who puts in 15 hours of school every week but I only have two classes on Tuesday and Thursday mornings! I am available any other time. I am a very organized and aware person. I feel very comfortable caring for animals in other peoples home. Sometimes all animals need a little extra love.

About: I’ve always been known as that person who animals just tend to trust. I’ve been told on many occasions how certain animals don’t like people but for whatever reason they give me a chance and I love when I get to show them love and prove that their fur babies made the right choice trusting me. Even when I was a baby I used surround myself with all sorts of animals because I love all of them so much. I hope to have the opportunity to give all the love I can to all the animals willing to give me a chance. I do take night classes Monday- Thursday typically anywhere from about 5-9 and I work days that I don’t have school. I’m very flexible but Monday-Thursdays are usually best for walks and drop ins. From how I’ve been described by others, I’m a very friendly, trusting, and loving person and everyone and their pets can expect that from me as well. As far as other peoples houses and everything I like to leave things the way I found it or better.

About: I have had tons of animals all my life. Horses, dogs, cats, bunny’s etc. I have also watched a lot of my friends animals and pets. I’m am free most days durning the week to walk or do drop ins in between my classes! on the weekends I can come over and stay the night and my schedule is super flexible. About: Hi! I’m a graduate student in Animal Behavior & Welfare working on my thesis in wildlife detection dogs from home. I’ve worked with dogs & cats for 10 years and have trained dogs for 8, including service dogs through a professional nonprofit organization. I have raised countless puppies in this time, so I can certainly help properly socialize your puppy so they can grow up to be the best version of themself. I also compete in dog sports for fun with my dogs, two working line German shepherds and one husky mix. So I’m well equipped to care for dogs that are… “a lot!” I’m on my way to becoming an Applied Animal Behaviorist and have finished all my coursework in behavior with a 4.0 GPA, so when your pets come with me, they’ll benefit from my extensive knowledge on understanding behavior and maximizing welfare. My prices might be a little higher than others, but I promise it will be worth it for the level of care & expertise I provide! I’m home full time as I finish my thesis remotely. The animals I care for come first, whether it be early morning potty breaks or afternoon activities. My schedule is flexible and I have ample time to give your pets the attention they need, while also giving them quiet time to rest in a private space. When pets stay with me, they have their own spare bedroom to sleep in. They can have a crate in there, or stay loose in the room and sleep on the bed. We have a small yard, so I opt to take dogs out 4 times a day to potty in a small park right outside my front door. We can play here too! A lot of dogs like to sunbathe in our yard, including my own. I have three dogs who all have different preferences in their dog friends, so it’s likely your dog will find a best friend here. Or, if your dog prefers not to be around other dogs, that’s no problem either. They can hang out with just me! I always use long lines and either harnesses or safely fitted collars to walk dogs, so they can have maximum freedom to express themselves while also staying safe and comfortable.

Professionally, I've worked at a couple different dog boarding/daycare/training places before switching to a job that was more fitting to what I went to school for. About: Growing up I have always been surrounded by and taken care of animals, including my own dogs. I have pet sit for the past couple years over the summer for various families, so I have years of experience under my belt. Let me know in particular if your pet has any unique qualities and I will cater my care to them! I work overnight but am available throughout the day for walks and day-sits! My shifts are generally Friday night through Sunday morning, but I am available for house/overnight dog-sitting throughout the week. I do not have the space in my own place to board pets (unfortunately) but have experienced shadowing other dog-sitters, as well as long-term house-stays and pet-sits. I am conscientious and respectful of the pet and owner’s needs and preferences first.
