About: I am a lifetime animal lover, pet owner and pet shelter volunteer. I have a lot of experience with pets with behavior problems and/or reactivity. My best self comes out around pets. I already love yours. I am a 'stay-at-home' mom so all my tasks are flexible. I am available for dog walking and cat/dog/other check-ins. About: Not only have I had dogs and cats as family members for the last 40 years, I've taken care of friends and family's dogs and cats. I was blessed to have Max for 17 years, a gentle boy who was blind and deaf in his senior years. If your pet has special needs I am confident I can give them the proper care needed. I currently have 2 dogs, a poodle pup who is an adorable and fun little rascal and a sweet terrior mix who is my walking buddy. They will be cared for at home by my husband if I'm taking care of your pet. I'm very active and happy to be retired. My house is pet friendly, and has a backyard enclosed with a 6 ft fence, gate that locks and a grassy area. I care for pets as if they were my own. My rescue dog knows where his home is, and has consistently refused to leave with new dog walkers; he lays down on the driveway and refuses to go. We could get him to go with me following or by leaving a treat trail. He surprised me by joyously leaving with Sarah. She had the enthusiasm that distracted him, plus treats, and he trotted off on his walk. I’m impressed.
Grace was always punctual, positive and truly enjoyed being with my pet. She was organized and worked out times and dates with me in advance of her walks. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
