About: Animals have always been a central part of my life, and providing them with dedicated love, play, and full attention is second nature to me. Having raised my French Bulldog and grown up with cats, I understand the unique personalities, care needs, and energetic quirks of animals. Following the recent loss of my beloved dog, I joined Rover as a meaningful way to share love with local pets and stay connected to animal care while my family takes time before welcoming a new dog of our own. About: I have grown up around animals my whole life. I have 3 elderly cats that I have had since 1st grade. I have cared for my family’s dogs and cats. I have a lot of experience with cats and even stray kittens. I’ve also taken care of big sassy energetic dogs who I have all cared for. About: Hi! I’m a graduate student in Animal Behavior & Welfare working on my thesis in wildlife detection dogs from home. I’ve worked with dogs & cats for 10 years and have trained dogs for 8, including service dogs through a professional nonprofit organization. I have raised countless puppies in this time, so I can certainly help properly socialize your puppy so they can grow up to be the best version of themself. I also compete in dog sports for fun with my dogs, two working line German shepherds and one husky mix. So I’m well equipped to care for dogs that are… “a lot!” I’m on my way to becoming an Applied Animal Behaviorist and have finished all my coursework in behavior with a 4.0 GPA, so when your pets come with me, they’ll benefit from my extensive knowledge on understanding behavior and maximizing welfare. My prices might be a little higher than others, but I promise it will be worth it for the level of care & expertise I provide! I’m home full time as I finish my thesis remotely. The animals I care for come first, whether it be early morning potty breaks or afternoon activities. My schedule is flexible and I have ample time to give your pets the attention they need, while also giving them quiet time to rest in a private space. When pets stay with me, they have their own spare bedroom to sleep in. They can have a crate in there, or stay loose in the room and sleep on the bed. We have a small yard, so I opt to take dogs out 4 times a day to potty in a small park right outside my front door. We can play here too! A lot of dogs like to sunbathe in our yard, including my own. I have three dogs who all have different preferences in their dog friends, so it’s likely your dog will find a best friend here. Or, if your dog prefers not to be around other dogs, that’s no problem either. They can hang out with just me! I always use long lines and either harnesses or safely fitted collars to walk dogs, so they can have maximum freedom to express themselves while also staying safe and comfortable.

About: I've adopted many cats over the years, and have turned a feral cat into one of the sweetest indoor cats. I have had a few years experience volunteering in an animal shelter, taking care of dogs and cats. I love all dogs and cats and will care for your pets as if they're my own children. I work full-time, but have joined Rover because I really love dogs and cats. I am available all day Saturday and morning and early afternoon Sunday, When I take care of your pet, you can rest assured that your dog or cat is in good hands and will be treated with love.

About: I grew up on a small farm with dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and goats, so I've got a lifetime of experience with all kinds of furry friends. Professionally, I've worked at a couple different dog boarding/daycare/training places before switching to a job that was more fitting to what I went to school for. I’m comfortable with various types of pets in terms of breed, age, temperament, and lifestyle (up-keeping training, giving meds, disabilities, etc). I'm currently working full time but am free most mornings in the week for walks or playtime. I'm free most weekends for overnight pet sitting and am open to extended at homesitting as well. Despite working most of the week, I'm pretty flexible and open to working around different schedules in order to meet the needs of your pets as well as meet the needs of the owner. I'm down to run, play, walk, clean, cuddle, groom, escort, chauffeur or even just chill with your animals, whatever they need. :) If I'm staying in their home, my goals is to maintain their routine, whether that's specific feeding/medication times or upkeeping current training commands. I've taken care of dogs of almost all ages and activity levels so I can adapt to most needs that your pup may have.

About: I used to work at a dog shelter in San Francisco and did rehabilitation of special needs dogs for 2 years. I currently volunteer with the dogs at San Luis Obispo County Animal Services. Comfortable with almost any dog. I've taken care of feral dogs since I was a kid. My friends always have me watch their pets or step in and help with medical recovery as needed. I'm home every day at the moment. When I'm not home the dogs have the choice of a crate or gated area in the kitchen. Unfortunately they don't get to free roam unless I know them well. I currently have no pets at home and live alone so your pet will be my main focus when they are with me. My house is a very calm environment both indoors and outdoors. No fenced yard but plenty of outdoor space and close to many good walks. If they are staying the night they need to be comfortable sleeping in a crate or gated area in the kitchen.

About: I am passionate about animals and have always loved being around both fluffy feathery and scaly creatures! 🐶I have been taking care of neighbors, families, and friends pets for the past 4 years.
