While not certified (yet), I have over a decade of experience in the specialized training fields of rally obedience, nose work, and agility; I’m happy to provide board and train services. ———————————————————————————————————— BOARDING REQUIREMENTS: Because we have a resident cat and a senior dog, all guests must be cat-friendly, non-aggressive, and comfortable sharing space with other animals. We require a meet-and-greet prior to booking. Please note that we cannot accommodate puppies, aggressive dogs, or pets that become aggressive during medication administration. To ensure every guest receives personalized attention, I have a maximum of two dogs at a time (from the same family only). Boarding / Daycare: There will be someone (my spouse, me, or both of us) with your dog the majority of the time, day and night. If we are both out running errands, we are often back within a few hours and usually within an hour, but if there are any special needs for your pup, let me know and I can be sure to let you know if we can accommodate, such as having someone with your pup at all times. Our schedules are very flexible, so feel free to ask based on your preferences. While I work during the day from an office, my spouse works from home and therefore is available to keep your pup company, let them go out to the bathroom, and if needed, is available for short play times. We will take your dog on daily walks and/or outdoor playtime and just let us know your dog's regular routine and we can try best to accommodate. In addition to play time, we will give your dog time to rest and they will get plenty of affection. Depending on the dog, we can also head out for a trail walk or a trip to a fenced dog park for a good run/play. You can expect photo and video updates daily (frequency based on your preference) so you can see how your pup is doing. Dog Walking: I'll pick up your dog and take them on a walk tailored to their energy and needs — neighborhood walks, hiking trails, or a fenced park for off-leash time if that's the right fit. Drop-In Visits: I'll stop by your home to visit with your pet(s), play with them, let dogs out to the bathroom, give them food and water and spend quality time with them. I can also care for other pets in the home, such as reptiles, fish, or plant, depending on what's required, an additional pet charge may apply. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks or sniffing the fresh air or enjoying the sunshine and a larger, unfenced area that I can take your pup(s) on short, leashed jaunts to sniff around. I can crate your dog, if ever needed.

At one point.my dog was experiencing some anxiety, so upon request, they remedied this with mixing some.pumpkin with her food. This was tjsn the perfect balance for her moving through the rest of her visit. This is my first booking using Rover since other dog boarding facilities were becoming to hard on her nervous system. I don’t have any pets myself so okay with dogs/cats that don’t like or can’t be around other animals 👍🏻 Available in Grover Beach for walking, boarding, house check ins, any pet related needs! I set my own work schedule, don’t tend to be away from home for more then a couple hours at a time, and I live with my grandmother who loves to sit and talk animals so they’ll get plenty of love and attention! About: I would always help my sister take care of dogs when she was animal sitting on rover. I currently am babysitting and working for Respite so I have experience in childcare. I love animals and would love to make some extra money as a college student. I am currently attending Cuesta College twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Im free after 3 o’clock when my classes are over. Every other day of the week I am free all day. I want to make sure your pets feel comfortable and welcome in my home. About: To stay busy as a child, I walked and house sat practically the entire neighborhood’s beloved pet. I am currently enrolled in Cal Poly’s Master’s program for Biomedical Engineering, which is completely virtual this quarter and likely next. My house is close to the bike path and terrace hill for the perfect pet excursion sure to leave them tired and happy. About: Your dog is as much an individual as you are and we are here to help your puppies to have exactly the experience that they need. I am a life long dog lover and have had many dogs over the years (work travel prevents me from ownership right now). Over the years my household (me, adult son, grand daughter (6)) have adopted or fostered a wide variety of dogs from a puppy to be trained and moved on to forever home to senior dogs who ultimately ended up with their forever home right here. I am excellent at giving medication (was a LPN for humans), long walks that I enjoy as much as the dog, and am open to any dog related service your dog may need. I will always treat your dog like the wonderful individual they are. I am open to any size dog and ANY breed (I have great relationships with pit bulls, Chihuahua's, and other high difficulty breads) All dogs must have flee control and be up on vaccinations (and licensed). I was reading the Rover information for customers and it said you should ask about how much cuddle time, playtime, and walks cost. Your pet will get all the cuddles, walks, and playtime they can stand for free. I do this because everybody in my house loves dogs and want to make new furry friends. Feel free to contact me with any questions I am a work from home writer, artist, photographer, and journalist, so I have lots of open time. I do travel for work in the summer months which does leave some days completely unavailable, but otherwise ready to walk from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. There is no other way to say it, I love dogs and will treat your dog with more respect than most humans receive. The walks will be well planned and any care will be exactly what you requested.

About: I’ve always loved animals, and I’ve had cats and dogs throughout my life (wishing I could have all the animals!). When I was younger, I would cuddle up with my pets and even read to them. Back in high school, I worked at a local grooming salon, where I bathed dogs and cats. Since then, caring for animals has continued to be something I truly enjoy. I’ve been pet sitting for the past 7 years and have loved getting to know not only the pets, but their owners as well. I’ve also trained my own cat to do all kinds of fun tricks! I deeply understand how much our pets mean to us, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I know how important it is to feel comfortable and confident leaving your pets in someone else’s care. It's not curable but I try to manage it. I have taken care of pets who need medication 1-3 times a day. I do my best to make pets feel comfortable as much as possible.
About: I was raised on a farm and have grown up with pets my whole life. I have experience with a wide variety of animals and pets of all ages. I am currently working full-time from home. I am able to provide company all day and/or leave at most times to take a furry friend on a walk. About: I used to work at a dog shelter in San Francisco and did rehabilitation of special needs dogs for 2 years. I currently volunteer with the dogs at San Luis Obispo County Animal Services. Comfortable with almost any dog. I've taken care of feral dogs since I was a kid. My friends always have me watch their pets or step in and help with medical recovery as needed. I'm home every day at the moment. When I'm not home the dogs have the choice of a crate or gated area in the kitchen. Unfortunately they don't get to free roam unless I know them well. I currently have no pets at home and live alone so your pet will be my main focus when they are with me. My house is a very calm environment both indoors and outdoors. No fenced yard but plenty of outdoor space and close to many good walks. If they are staying the night they need to be comfortable sleeping in a crate or gated area in the kitchen.
About: Hi! I’m a graduate student in Animal Behavior & Welfare working on my thesis in wildlife detection dogs from home. I’ve worked with dogs & cats for 10 years and have trained dogs for 8, including service dogs through a professional nonprofit organization. I have raised countless puppies in this time, so I can certainly help properly socialize your puppy so they can grow up to be the best version of themself. I also compete in dog sports for fun with my dogs, two working line German shepherds and one husky mix. So I’m well equipped to care for dogs that are… “a lot!” I’m on my way to becoming an Applied Animal Behaviorist and have finished all my coursework in behavior with a 4.0 GPA, so when your pets come with me, they’ll benefit from my extensive knowledge on understanding behavior and maximizing welfare. My prices might be a little higher than others, but I promise it will be worth it for the level of care & expertise I provide! I’m home full time as I finish my thesis remotely. The animals I care for come first, whether it be early morning potty breaks or afternoon activities. My schedule is flexible and I have ample time to give your pets the attention they need, while also giving them quiet time to rest in a private space. When pets stay with me, they have their own spare bedroom to sleep in. They can have a crate in there, or stay loose in the room and sleep on the bed. We have a small yard, so I opt to take dogs out 4 times a day to potty in a small park right outside my front door. We can play here too! A lot of dogs like to sunbathe in our yard, including my own. I have three dogs who all have different preferences in their dog friends, so it’s likely your dog will find a best friend here. Or, if your dog prefers not to be around other dogs, that’s no problem either. They can hang out with just me! I always use long lines and either harnesses or safely fitted collars to walk dogs, so they can have maximum freedom to express themselves while also staying safe and comfortable.

Dog Walking: I'll pick up your dog and take them on a walk tailored to their energy and needs — neighborhood walks, hiking trails, or a fenced park for off-leash time if that's the right fit. Drop-In Visits: I'll stop by your home to visit with your pet(s), play with them, let dogs out to the bathroom, give them food and water and spend quality time with them. I can also care for other pets in the home, such as reptiles, fish, or plant, depending on what's required, an additional pet charge may apply. I have a fenced yard for potty breaks or sniffing the fresh air or enjoying the sunshine and a larger, unfenced area that I can take your pup(s) on short, leashed jaunts to sniff around. I can crate your dog, if ever needed.

At one point.my dog was experiencing some anxiety, so upon request, they remedied this with mixing some.pumpkin with her food. This was tjsn the perfect balance for her moving through the rest of her visit. This is my first booking using Rover since other dog boarding facilities were becoming to hard on her nervous system. I am bery happy I did! If I am ever in need of care again in this location I wouldnt hesitate to use these sweet humans! About: I would always help my sister take care of dogs when she was animal sitting on rover. I currently am babysitting and working for Respite so I have experience in childcare. I love animals and would love to make some extra money as a college student. I am currently attending Cuesta College twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Im free after 3 o’clock when my classes are over. Every other day of the week I am free all day. I want to make sure your pets feel comfortable and welcome in my home. About: I’ve had experience caring for large dogs my whole life and currently handle most of the day-to-day care for my own dog, so I’m very comfortable with feeding routines, walks, exercise, and keeping dogs happy and well-behaved.
