About: I've adopted many cats over the years, and have turned a feral cat into one of the sweetest indoor cats. I have had a few years experience volunteering in an animal shelter, taking care of dogs and cats. I love all dogs and cats and will care for your pets as if they're my own children. About: I grew up with animals and have always had a special connection with them. I have worked with animals of all walks of life in an animal shelter & truly enjoy getting to witness their success. When working at the animal shelter I used to take dogs on walks and to the play pens where they would socialize with potential new families and other dogs. While they were in the play pens it was my job to ensure things ran smoothly and to deescalate any situations that might arise. Being able to celebrate in an animals victories and see how much they have grown & learned over time is like nothing else! I am wholly committed to anything your pet may need during our time together, no interruptions unless there is an emergency. About: I grew up on a small farm with dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and goats, so I've got a lifetime of experience with all kinds of furry friends. Professionally, I've worked at a couple different dog boarding/daycare/training places before switching to a job that was more fitting to what I went to school for. I’m comfortable with various types of pets in terms of breed, age, temperament, and lifestyle (up-keeping training, giving meds, disabilities, etc). I'm currently working full time but am free most mornings in the week for walks or playtime. I'm free most weekends for overnight pet sitting and am open to extended at homesitting as well. With my mom being a French Bulldog breeder, I have a lot of experience with puppies, dog training, dog walking, and basic grooming. "House sits" combine the benefits of "walks" and "drop ins," with the addition of and any/all of the following options: -Overnight visitation (from dusk to dawn) -Live in (full overnight and some daytime occupancy - to be agreed upon before visit) -Constant occupancy (full 24 hour supervision for house and pets) During "house sits" we may go to the park or go for an extra walk if it's a nice day.
