“Linda & KJ were so great with Willow during the few days we needed care for her. Our dog is pretty attached to us, but on morning two, Willow was SO PUMPED when she saw Linda! I got plenty of pics and they kept me updated throughout the day about what Willow was keeping busy with. Really thankful for their help, will definitely return if needed!”

“Kaden took care of my dog, Josie each day while I was in town for work. My dog had so much fun. Kaden took her on hikes and to the beach—it was like a vacation for my dog! She absolutely loves him and would get so excited when she saw him. Kaden was reliable, on time, and was a wonderful and fun companion to my dog. She is my best buddy and so precious to me. I worry about her being in the care of someone else. However,she gets absolutely spoiled with Kaden! I will use him whenever I’m in town!”

About: I've had multiple dogs throughout my life, most starting from puppies. My wife and I are dog lovers and we have 3 pugs of our own. We have had multiple big dogs at once but when they passed on, we decided to go the smaller route. We have housed multiple dogs at once for the weekend, done dog walking for friends and family and now wish to help out our community. If you need anything, please reach out to see if I can be of assistance. I'm used to walking large breed dogs and can even take them out to the dog beach if wanted. I can walk your dogs, bathe, feed, play, take to the beach, or just lay around with them. I do have 3 pugs that live with us so if you do need us to board, please let me know if they are not friendly and I can keep them away from each other. I have a fenced backyard, but all dogs are welcomed inside our home and allowed on furniture. Our fur babies are family and are treated like royalty and all pups inside our home get the same treatment. I can abide by any special diet restrictions or time for feedings. Our dogs eat twice a day with an occasional treat. Please let me know if treats are not allowed

“Malia has been a large influence when it comes to the caretaking of my dog. Being a rescue, my dog, Baylor, was a very timid and easily frightened by loud noises and new people. I had asked Malia (on multiple occasions) to care for him while I went on a variety of work trips. Malia knows this dog is my world as he is like my son. As time progressed I have tried time and time again to allow Baylor to see the joy in meeting new people and attempted to untraumatized him from the past. Malia has such a general nature towards Baylor that I have seen him become more playful, relaxed, and overall happier to be present. Malia is a trusted friend of mine when it comes to the caretaking of any dog whatsoever. I would trust her with Baylor at any time I a not present, and so should you.”

About: I was actually admitted into Cal Poly as a first year pre-vet animal science student. I've taken a couple courses on basic animal care but I've also taken a course called Companion Animal science which is all about the care of common household pets. I was also briefly part of the guidedogs for the blind club and got hands on experience on how to train service animals. My schedule is actually very flexible. I try to have most of my classes together so I don't have to be on and off campus which means I have significant periods of time open. If anything a couple days heads up to take care of an animal would give me enough time to plan. This totally depends on the breed/size/temperment of the animal, also with cats if it's an indoor outdoor cat I would probably thoughroughly discuss this with a client to make sure I have all the details. In general I would probably try and walk the dog away from other people or dogs incase the animal has certain triggers or reactions. I would try and stay gentle and calm around the animal and give them personal space if needed. In terms of environment I wouldn't let a dog off leash if the space isn't enclosed and I would try my hardest to monitor what the dog/cat eats as of not to let them get sick.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and I also worked at a doggy day care so I know how to handle many different types of situations with high energy and/or aggressive breeds. I’m currently in college and doing online classes so trying to make extra money while being able to do something I love and be able to create my own schedule. I do not have a fenced yard but I do have a very respectful golden retriever who grew up around an elderly dog. He loves to play and I am able to walk multiple dogs at once and my home has lots of space to play and stretch their legs.

We then went to dinner before we picked up Harry. We know he had a wonderful day with Perla as we saw several happy photos.”

About: I’ve had 4 dogs and a cat growing up, including 2 Rottweilers. I love all things furry w four legs! Responsible pet owner, I will do anything for your pet. I am currently a 3rd year at Cal Poly SLO, studying Business Information Systems, and have a 3.7 gpa. I have a fairly flexible schedule and will make anything work unless I’m in class. I am very flexible and want to accommodate anyone’s requests. I treat my home and pets with the upmost respect and will do the same for you and yours.
