About: To stay busy as a child, I walked and house sat practically the entire neighborhood’s beloved pet. Summer days were filled with miles of dog walking adventures with a dedicated cabinet to keep the hundreds of house keys safe. Even now, as a working professional, I can’t imagine my routine without it! Morning exercise, breaks throughout the day, and evening walks are a perfect time for animal care sessions. Having a sister who is a vet, I am only a quick call away from an expert diagnosis if ever necessary. I have piece of mind knowing assistance is close and years of experience keeping animals happy and safe. I am currently enrolled in Cal Poly’s Master’s program for Biomedical Engineering, which is completely virtual this quarter and likely next. This allows for a very flexible schedule with frequent study breaks for pet walks or visits. The remote lessons even allow me to listen to lectures while with your pet in your home for extended pet company. My house is close to the bike path and terrace hill for the perfect pet excursion sure to leave them tired and happy. I love running to accommodate the high energy animals as well as the leisurely hike for those who are slowing down or prefer a casual sniff around.

About: Animal lover here. I’ve had pets all my life and have taken care of pets for the day, and for people on extended vacation. Animals are not left at my home alone. I can take trips to the beach or park as long as the owners are comfortable with that. Pets sleep inside the home with me. I can pick up and/or drop off for a small extra fee. I’m currently a stay at home mom with two teen boys. I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need while you are away. Focus will be on keeping your pets happy. About: Hi! I’m a graduate student in Animal Behavior & Welfare working on my thesis in wildlife detection dogs from home. I’ve worked with dogs & cats for 10 years and have trained dogs for 8, including service dogs through a professional nonprofit organization. I have raised countless puppies in this time, so I can certainly help properly socialize your puppy so they can grow up to be the best version of themself. I also compete in dog sports for fun with my dogs, two working line German shepherds and one husky mix. So I’m well equipped to care for dogs that are… “a lot!” I’m on my way to becoming an Applied Animal Behaviorist and have finished all my coursework in behavior with a 4.0 GPA, so when your pets come with me, they’ll benefit from my extensive knowledge on understanding behavior and maximizing welfare. My prices might be a little higher than others, but I promise it will be worth it for the level of care & expertise I provide! I’m home full time as I finish my thesis remotely. The animals I care for come first, whether it be early morning potty breaks or afternoon activities. My schedule is flexible and I have ample time to give your pets the attention they need, while also giving them quiet time to rest in a private space. When pets stay with me, they have their own spare bedroom to sleep in. They can have a crate in there, or stay loose in the room and sleep on the bed. We have a small yard, so I opt to take dogs out 4 times a day to potty in a small park right outside my front door. We can play here too! A lot of dogs like to sunbathe in our yard, including my own. I have three dogs who all have different preferences in their dog friends, so it’s likely your dog will find a best friend here. Or, if your dog prefers not to be around other dogs, that’s no problem either. They can hang out with just me! I always use long lines and either harnesses or safely fitted collars to walk dogs, so they can have maximum freedom to express themselves while also staying safe and comfortable.
