“This was an excellent experience with great care for our dog. Chili has special heart problem that requires her to have medication three times a day so we rarely leave her but, Jed and Tara handled it with care and attention! Chili loved playing with their children and did not want to leave when we came to pick her up she was having so much fun. They were flexible, communicative and cared well for our dog. Thank you!”

“This is the first time we have boarded Gracie since the passing of her sister. She has had separation anxiety issues and we were concerned that she might have a difficult time without us. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ all the way! We were initially very nervous at the thought of needing to find a sitter for our 11mo old Aussies as we’ve always taken them with us when traveling. But on our first go, we found Niccola who was incredible, so accommodating, kind, and had so much love for our crazy boys. They felt at home with her right away. We could tell they had a blast during their first daycare stay as they were completely wiped for the rest of the night. We’re so grateful to have found such a trustworthy, caring person as our go-to sitter!”

“Mr. Mack had a great time with Lauren and family. He feels right at home in their home. He had play time, cuddle time, walk time and lunch time -- all bases covered! We will find future dates to request daycare again because we are 100% confident Mr. Mack is well loved and adored in their care.”

“Matthew and his significant other were total life savers during an occasionally unpredictable week for me. They were great with Reaux & super understanding and flexible when things came up at work that required me to go in earlier or come home later. Matthew texted an update during the day with a picture of Reaux. He also was very gracious when Reaux peed on his rug. This was an amazing River experience!!!”

“Miki was AMAZING with my adult dog Moose. She was welcoming and friendly and communicated extremely well. She sent us updates throughout the day and was very responsive. She walked my dog and took care of him like he was her own pet! She made him comfortable and he isn’t easy to trust right away but with Miki and her family Moose seemed to feel right at home. We booked her for day care 2 days, back to back, and Moose seemed excited to go back! I hope she’s available next time we need a sitter because she will be the first person that comes to mind. Thank you Miki! We appreciate you so much 😄”

“Thomas was super responsive and friendly, and really helped us out in a pinch!! Thomas took the best care of of our Boston and provided updates so we didn't have to worry at all. So thankful for this service! Their 3 pugs are the best!! 🐾❤️”

About: Every creature I meet - from fuzzy, waggy, purry fluff balls to mysterious little pocket-sized critters - is an adventure waiting to happen. I greet each one with sparkling excitement and big-hearted curiosity and love. 🏡🐶🐱 Due to remote working, I’m always here for your animal!! Animals at my house get the luxury of having interaction at their paws 🐾 Animals know I understand their secret frequency. My patience, gentleness, and playful spirit make them feel like they've found their long-lost best friend. I’ve had animals by my side my whole life, which is probably why I’m basically an animal whisperer at this point. They sense my intuition — that soft, instinctive way I know exactly what they need, whether it's a snack, a cuddle, or something else. Animals aren't just pets. They're honorary members of my family; my tiny roommates with fur. My home is their kingdom; my heart is their cozy lounge. Where I go, animals follow — because they know I’m the kind of human who truly gets them. I don’t just fit animals into my schedule — I weave them into my day. My routine is delightfully flexible, perfectly shaped to welcome paws. My schedule is flexible and intuitive, allowing me to build in regular check-ins, feeding times, walks, and play sessions without stress or disruption. I move through my tasks with patience, intuition, and a sprinkle of magic — knowing exactly when a dog needs an extra trot around the block or when a cat needs a dramatic feather-toy performance. Animals slip into my schedule so naturally you’d think they helped design it. To every pet I care for, I’m the whimsical guardian who arrives right when they need me — the keeper of routines, the bringer of fun, and the human who makes their day just a little more sparkly. Safety begins with awareness, consistency, and preparation. When caring for an animal, I create a space where their physical well-being is always the first priority. That means secure environments (no open doors if they are not allowed out, hazardous items, or unsafe spaces), proper handling, and mindful supervision during walks, play, or feeding. I pay attention to their routines, health cues, and comfort levels, making sure they’re protected from stress, danger, or anything unfamiliar that could overwhelm them. A safe animal is a relaxed animal — and I make that possible. A good environment is one that supports an animal’s emotional and physical needs. I create spaces that feel safe, comfortable, and full of enrichment — spots for quiet rest, opportunities for play, and room to explore without fear. My presence makes the environment even better: calm, welcoming, and filled with positive interactions. Whether the animal is staying in my home or I’m in theirs, I make sure their surroundings feel familiar, soothing, and full of the little comforts that help them thrive.
About: I have had many types of pets. Such as fish, bunnies, turtles, bird, cats and a dog. I have took a few training classes on how to make my dog successful. She has many titles. She’s also an advanced trick dog. So I’m willing to teach any dog some tricks if wanted. Not only do I have experience but I’m also willing to be affordable to. I will work around your prices. To be afraid to ask I have some free time available and willing to care for your pets during that time. I’m always available mondays. And willing to do drop ins after work and have most weekends available. I also have Fridays available but after 3:30pm When doing drop ins in your home I will follow all instructions to care for your pets. I do positive reinforcement so leave your pups favorite treats out. Lots of attention and play will be provided
About: I was raised on a farm and have grown up with pets my whole life. I have experience with a wide variety of animals and pets of all ages. I am currently working full-time from home. I am able to provide company all day and/or leave at most times to take a furry friend on a walk. Since I work from home I am able to spend the majority of my day with pets as my schedule usually allows me to have a lot of flexibility.
About: To stay busy as a child, I walked and house sat practically the entire neighborhood’s beloved pet. Summer days were filled with miles of dog walking adventures with a dedicated cabinet to keep the hundreds of house keys safe. Even now, as I begin grad school at Cal Poly, I can’t imagine my routine without it! Morning exercise, study breaks throughout the day, and evening walks are a perfect time for animal care sessions. Having a sister who is a vet, I am only a quick call away from an expert diagnosis if ever necessary. I have piece of mind knowing assistance is close and years of experience keeping animals happy and safe. I am currently enrolled in Cal Poly’s Master’s program for Biomedical Engineering, which is completely virtual this quarter and likely next. This allows for a very flexible schedule with frequent study breaks for pet walks or visits. The remote lessons even allow me to listen to lectures while with your pet in your home for extended pet company. My house is close to the bike path and terrace hill for the perfect pet excursion sure to leave them tired and happy. I love running to accommodate the high energy animals as well as the leisurely hike for those who are slowing down or prefer a casual sniff around.

“Tami took my pup's anxiety in stride and she clearly won him over quickly. He was snuggling up to her and clearly had a great day. Thanks for taking care of our puppy for the day so we could take a tour of Hearst Castle!”

I have experience working at a dog daycare/kennel. I also have experience with working on leash manners, socialization, and administering medications. I would love to have your pups join my pack on a nice walk, evening hike, or beach walk! Pet care is a number one priority! I will work with each pet parent to make sure both our schedules work for the pets needs and care level! Pets are always welcome in my home! They will receive the same love and care as if they are my own! Pets will be in our gated yard or enjoying free time at the park close by!
“Paul was fabulous with our energetic rescue dog Rocky (the rocket). While we were on vacation in Pismo Beach, Paul watched Rocky all day for a couple days. He exercised and loved on Rocky for many hours, which gave us free time to be tourists in the area. We will definitely see if he's available again in the future, when we're back in the area. We highly recommend Paul for doggy daycare in the area. Rocky had a wonderful time. Thanks Paul!”

“Shannon has been wonderful so far. She has taken exceptional care of Macy, is attentive, communicates regularly, and is a true lover of dogs. We will continue to book her. Thanks Shannon!”

“Katie is amazing! She had a wonderful first day with our pup Jack. She is very warm and professional, and an obvious dog-lover! Jack felt right at home and he loved spending the day with her and sweet Sumi. Katie was very responsive and she sent pics and updates throughout the day. She took Jack out for walks and treated him like he was her own fur-baby. We will definitely be using Katie again for watching Jack. We all loved her!”

About: Hi! I’m Beverly, a registered nurse, wife, and mom to two boys. Our family loves animals, and dogs have always been a big part of our lives. We have experience caring for both large and small breeds and understand that every dog has their own unique personality and needs. One of the reasons I joined Rover is because my 9 year old son, Andrew, loves dogs and is hoping to earn a little extra summer spending money while learning responsibility and the value of hard work. Any dog walks, drop in visits, or pet sitting services will be booked through me and supervised by me, but Andrew loves helping give extra attention, playtime, and walks to our furry guests. As a family, we enjoy being outdoors and taking walks together, so your pup will receive plenty of exercise, affection, and companionship. Whether your dog needs a walk, a check in while you’re away, or loving care during a longer stay, we’ll treat them like part of our family. We look forward to meeting you and your four legged family member! Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine because we already enjoy family walks, outdoor time, and spending time with animals. My flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable visits, walks, feedings, and check ins throughout the day. My son Andrew loves helping care for dogs, making sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. We understand that dogs are most comfortable in their own home, and we are happy to provide loving care in a familiar environment while you’re away. We will follow your pet’s normal routine, including walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of attention and affection. As a nurse and lifelong dog owner, I know how important it is to have someone dependable caring for your family member, and my son Andrew loves helping give dogs extra companionship and exercise.

About: Hi there! I’m Miki, based in Arroyo Grande, CA. I’m back on Rover after taking a break for a while. I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and have over 10 years of pet sitting experience — both personally and on Rover. At home, we have: • Lucy, our sweet senior Shih Tzu who loves her naps and quiet time • Anko, a playful 1-year-old Lab mix who’s board-and-train certified and loves making new doggie friends 🐶✨ Whether your pup prefers cozy relaxation or a fun playmate, our home offers the perfect balance. We take long walks, visit local dog parks (like Laguna Lake), and treat every dog like a member of the family. ✅ Dog-loving household ✅ I work from home 100% ✅ Experienced with both seniors and high-energy pups ✅ Safe, warm, and communication-friendly environment Looking forward to meeting your pup and providing the “feels like home” care my returning clients know and love! 🐾✨ I stay at home pretty much all day every day as I work from home. Especially when your doggy stays with us, I don’t leave the house unless it’s really necessary or go to park with doggies. Our front yard door stays open all day so doggies can go in and out whenever they want. I have a fenced yard, so they can play outside anytime they want. I usually leave the back yard door open so dogs can go out whenever they want.
About: I've had multiple dogs throughout my life, most starting from puppies. My wife and I are dog lovers and we have 3 pugs of our own. We have had multiple big dogs at once but when they passed on, we decided to go the smaller route. We have housed multiple dogs at once for the weekend, done dog walking for friends and family and now wish to help out our community. If you need anything, please reach out to see if I can be of assistance. I'm used to walking large breed dogs and can even take them out to the dog beach if wanted. I can walk your dogs, bathe, feed, play, take to the beach, or just lay around with them. I do have 3 pugs that live with us so if you do need us to board, please let me know if they are not friendly and I can keep them away from each other. I have a fenced backyard, but all dogs are welcomed inside our home and allowed on furniture. Our fur babies are family and are treated like royalty and all pups inside our home get the same treatment. I can abide by any special diet restrictions or time for feedings. Our dogs eat twice a day with an occasional treat. Please let me know if treats are not allowed
About: I've had pets my entire life and I love animals of all kinds! I've been pet sitting since I was 15 and also worked at Woods Humane Society for a year in 2019. I learned great training in animal care while there and how to take care of your pets even better! 😊 I'm a work from home artist and have a dog of my own at home. I have a decent amount of time in my weekly schedule right now to look after your pets! I have a reactive dog at home so unfortunately I can't have your pets in my home, but I would love to take care of your pups at your home or even stay for over nights if needed! 😊
About: Dogs are sent from God to make human lives complete. I'm lucky to have 1 well-adjusted one. It's a privilege to spend time around dogs; I treat them with respect and also have expectations for them. The result: a happy pack! (When you're making your dog care choice, please know I prefer dogs who are potty / house trained & treated for flea / tick). Dogs are like my children. They're having fun and learning at the same time. Exercise, water, attention and play time is what makes a good dog! They're a priority when they're with me and no decisions are made without considering how it affects my dog / dogs. I understand each dog is unique; they have their own personality and experiences which make them who they are. That being said, there isn't a "cookie cutter" way to treat a dog. Knowing each one, what they fear or love, what it takes to make them happy is what makes for a good outcome. My ultimate goal is for your dog to leap out of your car when he / she arrives at my home or sees me walk through your door.
About: I have owned and taken care of pets all my life. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and cats as well. I have experience with small animals and aquatic pets as well. I love animals of all shapes and sizes. I recently graduated from college and am now a full-time teacher. Now that it is summer, my availability has opened up. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I am able to provide consistent walks, feeding schedules, playtime, medication if needed, and plenty of attention, affection, and companionship. Whether I am dog walking or pet sitting, ensuring trust and pet safety is my number 1 priority. I understand the importance of building trust with both the pets and their owners, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure in my presence. I adhere to strict safety protocols for dog walking, including using secure leashes, monitoring pet health, and using safe routes. My goal is to offer peace of mind to pet owners, knowing their beloved pets are in caring and capable hands.
“Angelia took great care of Charlie. Took her on a different stroll than her usual walk. She was happy when I arrived home, and everything was in great shape. Would not hesitate to ask her to walk Charlie in the future!”

“Niccola was GREAT!!!!! Our 2 pups loved having her backyard to romp in and having her babysit them gave us a couple of days to relax and enjoy the local area without them LOL! We will DEFINITELY use her again when in the area and would recommend her highly to anyone who needs to board their fur babies.”

Douglas offered to have Gracie visit him before our trip to familiarize herself with his home. He was very patient with her and as a result Gracie had a wonderful time with Douglas and Pepe.”

About: I’ve had experience caring for large dogs my whole life and currently handle most of the day-to-day care for my own dog, so I’m very comfortable with feeding routines, walks, exercise, and keeping dogs happy and well-behaved. I’ve also been pet sitting since high school, caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. What sets me apart is how attentive and hands-on I am. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m especially confident with bigger dogs and can adapt to each dog’s routine, whether that means active playtime or a calmer, more relaxed environment. Until early June, I have school and work during the week, along with some busy weekends, but I’m still available for pet care with enough notice and can work around my schedule. Starting in the summer, I’ll have a much more open and flexible schedule and am looking to take on more pet sitting opportunities. I’m happy to accommodate different routines and make sure your pet gets consistent, reliable care. I provide a clean, safe, and cozy environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. I’m a very active person, so I love taking dogs on walks and making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. I also make time for calmer moments, like relaxing and giving pets the affection and companionship they’re used to. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I stick closely to their usual routine to help them feel at ease, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions. My goal is always to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

It was such a relief knowing our dogs were in such great hands ☺️”
