1. Riley K.
“Riley is wonderful! She is experienced, knowledgeable, conscientious and has a kind, patient manner. Riley stayed with my big, senior Alaskan Malamute for 6 days/nights in my home while I was out of town and did a fantastic job with both pet sitting and house sitting. Riley was very communicative before her stay to make sure she was familiar with food/medicine schedules and all other routines. While I was away, Riley texted and sent pictures daily and it was very clear that my Malamute was totally happy, comfortable, and content. I arrived home to a calm, relaxed dog who I’m sure is hoping that Riley returns soon!”
2. nicole g.
“Nicole was a highly professional and very engaging House/Dog sitter over the weekend. She left notes on her activities and left the house in perfect order! She was able to meet my puppies unique needs and took her on lots of walks around the neighborhood. I would highly recommend Nicole to anyone looking for a dog walker or sitter.”
3. Sarah B.
“My dog is pretty old and particular and Sarah was amazing and patient with him! I came home after a week long trip to a clean home and very happy dog! She met us ahead of time to really learn what works best for him and sent pictures throughout my time away, which was extremely comforting. Fingers crossed she is available for my next vacation, will definitely rebook.”
4. Paul K.
“Paul took care of our five pets (two dogs and three cats) over the weekend, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for our animals were exceptional. He kept us updated daily with messages and photos, and even went the extra mile by taking one of our dogs to the dog beach. We highly recommend him.”
5. Karah f.
About: As a dedicated pet sitter and caregiver serving the beautiful Central Coast and San Luis Obispo counties, I bring a natural nurturing spirit and a deep love for animals to every service I provide. I pride myself on being a protector and a friend to your furry family members, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and attention. No request is too big or too small when it comes to your beloved companions. With a special expertise in caring for geriatric dogs aged 15 and older, as well as cats, I am committed to meeting and exceeding the expectations of my clients. Your pets deserve the best, and I am fully supportive of that. I have about 5 clients I house/pet sit when they travel and I just absolutely have a passion for pet caregiving. I currently am a student, I work part time as a preschool substitute for SLOCOE and a nonprofit that services persons with developmental disabilities. I just enjoy serving my community members and their pets! When I am in your home to care for your family pet I let them know I am there primarily to cater to their pets needs. Playtime, feeding, potty time, walks/runs, pets, treats, meds* if needed and cuddle/quiet time. I also make sure I leave a clean and tidy house. Unless noted. I know I enjoy coming home to a clean house. Trash out, clean sink/dishes(pet used), swept/vacuum, litter box, yard pooper- scooped. I am happy to accommodate other requests. (Depending upon request there may be a nominal fee)
6. Sandy R.
“Sandy was absolutely a life saver for us and we wouldn’t hesitate to use her again! We had our first sitter cancel last minute and she accepted our request in s very short time, which was very accommodating as we were from out of town, staying at a hotel, had 2 dogs, and we’re going to be out late! Being nervous about leaving our fur babies, she put us at ease as she sent multiple detailed updates with photos, I was very pleased with that interaction. We will definitely be using her again!!”
7. Fletcher L.
“Fletcher was great! Super responsible and took wonderful care of my elderly dog, he even took him to his favorite place - dog beach. He followed all the instructions for the house and left it in great shape. I would definitely hire him again. Thank you Fletcher!!”
8. Cloe C.
“Cloe was great staying with our boys while we were away for a few nights. They were well loved and well taken care of and when we can home the house was in great shape. I will be booking Cloe again next time we need a dog sitter.”
9. Sarra B.
“I can't recommend Sarra enough for her exceptional pet sitting services! She took care of my two cats while I was away, and I could tell they absolutely adored her. Sarra was incredibly attentive to their needs, ensuring they had plenty of playtime and affection. She sent me regular updates and photos, which gave me peace of mind. It's clear that she has a genuine love for animals, and her professionalism is top-notch. If you're looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter, Sarra is the perfect choice!”
10. Zara C.
“Zara is an amazing sitter for our pup, Ripple! She is so attentive to Ripple’s needs, very communicative and sends us lots of pictures and updates, and even braved a power outage at our place. We’re so grateful to know our girl was in great hands while we were away!”
11. Clare A.
“Clare was professional, kind, communicative—and most importantly, our doggies were happy upon our return. She also left the house in meticulous condition. My one caveat is that we did not get much by the way of photos and daily dog updates—if you need someone who does this, Clare might not be a fit. If you are seeking someone you can trust, count on Clare.”
12. Alexis M.
“Alexis is a very caring and accommodating caregiver. She treats my dog as her own and you can see that she cares wholeheartedly for animals. Alexis was so great with my dog, as she was gentle and patient. My dog trusts Alexis and is very comfortable with her. Alexis is a genuinely good person and she will treat you and your pet like gold. You are in good hands with Alexis!”

I highly recommend Journey for any of your pet sitting needs!”
14. Celeste R.
“Celeste was fantastic house-sitting our two doggos while we were out for 7-days. She sent pictures through out the week which was really nice. I highly recommend her and will be re-booking again in the future.”
15. Valarie G.
“Valarie was very professional and took care of my dog and my cat while I was away. Both animals were very relaxed this time as I usually board them, but this is the first time I've had someone take care of them in my home. I would definitely hire her again.”

18. Brooke C.
“Brooke is absolutely fantastic. She took great care of all our family dogs over a wedding weekend. She is warm, all three dogs loved her and she is great at communicating and sending photos of what the dogs were up to. In particular she was great with my shy dog. He responded to her from the first meet and greet and through the weekend. She was the best!”
