“Jan took excellent care of my cat and dog (who is a bit reactive). She demonstrated care and attention to both of them, going above and beyond to meet their needs. Jan was also a wonderful house sitter, taking care of our home as well while we were away. Thank you, Jan!”

“Katie was fantastic. We needed someone within the week and she booked a meet and greet asap and was ready to watch our boys. She took great care of our 2 dogs and our house. Our 1 dog is an angel but the other is a bit mischievous and can be a handful and she handled him effortlessly. We felt fully at peace while away knowing she was taking care of our dogs. 10/10 will be reaching out to her the next time we need a sitter here in a few weeks.”

“Forest did an amazing job caring for our pets. He made sure to keep to our detailed routine and was very good at communicating — asking questions to ensure he was doing try right things, sending photos and texting updates. Whether you have cats, dogs or chickens — or all those pets, Forest will take excellent care of them and leave your home tidy as well. I will definitely hire Forest again.”

“This was the first time leaving my 7-mo old kitten Toulouse alone for an extended period of time and I was a bit of a nervous Mom. Andrew is an obvious animal-lover and was responsive to any questions I had both before and during my trip away. He looked after her and my house well, and was patient with her friskiness. He even brought over his own cat toys so she could have new things to play with. Definitely a reliable pet-sitter for your needs.”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, from small to large breeds. I’m dependable, attentive, and genuinely love caring for pets like they’re family. I work with a flexible schedule, which allows me to give pets plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day and week. I genuinely enjoy being around animals and making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their owners are away. Whether a pet is energetic and playful or more relaxed and routine-oriented, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. I follow each pet’s routine closely to help them feel comfortable and safe. I pay attention to feeding schedules, walks, medications, and behavior, and I provide lots of care, patience, and attention.
About: I have years of hands-on experience caring for pets with different needs—from energetic puppies to older dogs needing gentle walks or medication. I’m attentive, calm, and detail-oriented, making sure every pet feels secure and loved while you’re away. You can count on me for reliable communication and genuine care every time. I'm currently working a part time job and available anytime after 4pm on Sundays and anytime before 4pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and free the rest of the week and very flexible on any time you need. My own two dogs, two decently sized border collies, one very energetic, one lazy, who have a whole backyard to themselves along with a kennel in the garage connected by a doggy door to the backyard! I feed them two times a day and walk them at least once a day, and constantly check their water bowls.
About: I’ve taken care of pets for the past 5 years, ranging from puppies and kittens to senior pets needing medications. All pets are treated like family in my care, whether it’s a relaxing day at home or a fun day at the beach! I’m currently working a 7am-5pm weekday job, and I go home for lunches. My partner comes home around 4pm, and the property is shared with a retail store, whose owner loves to say hi during the day. I can be available in the early mornings, evenings, & weekends. Other times may be available upon request, especially if you live close to town, I can go over for a quick visit during my lunch break. I have a secure, fenced yard that is always at least half-shaded. I have a very friendly 1.5 year old border collie mix that will keep your pup occupied & enjoys sharing toys with friends.
“What a great dog sitter Joshuah was. It's so hard to leave and feel comfortable with my time away but Joshuah was perfect. He responded promptly every time I sent a message I appreciated that! I felt very comfortable with him here in my house for 5 nights...pictures daily”

“My 2 dogs and cat loved Mindy! We were away for a week and a half and Mindy took such good care of our furry family and home. We came home to a spotless house and our pets were happy and calm - a big difference from other pet sitter experiences. One of our dogs liked her so much that he kept looking to see if Mindy was still here after we got home! One of the pieces that really worked for our family is that Mindy works mostly remotely and so she was home with the animals most of the time and that helped them to feel safe and bonded with her. She watered plants, helped to communicate about roof construction that had to happen while we were gone, and alerted us to problems that came up. She was very professional all around. We feel so fortunate to have had Mindy here while we were gone. It was so lovely to be able to actually enjoy our time away without worry! Thank you, Mindy!”

“It's so nice to have a service like rover! We only had our new pup about a week and had to do an overnight. Kayla was great to step in and Koa was relaxed when we got home!! Thank you!”

About: I love hanging out with dogs while their parents parents are away! I am a big hiker, so on the weekends I love taking the dogs out for a hike/long walks and even the beach if allowed! I currently work 8-5 with occasional early entry at 6am. Weekends I am free, and evenings I am free. I am typically active early in the morning, able to feed and walk in the mornings and afternoons. I typically like to pet sit at the owners home to make the time away from the pets parents as seamless as possible! I am incredible respectful of other peoples homes and incredibly clean and tidy.
About: Been around dogs my whole life! Have had my own golden a little over a year ago now so am well versed with puppy behavior and training. I love to stay active and used to bring my dog on hikes, play tug of war and go on long walks so if that sounds like something your dog would love the I’m your girl! Currently have full availability on weekends and after 6 PM on weekdays. Love to stay active and do lots of fun enrichment activities but also love a long mellow walk! I live in an area with a common area but am also really close to lots of great walks and hikes to walk and or go play some fetch!
“I highly recommend Makaela to house sit and care for your fur babies! Very professional and communicate. I’m sure your pet will love her just like my 4 year old husky does. If you are looking for house/pet sitting, you definitely want to use Makaela.”

“Gabi did a wonderful job house sitting Ola. I appreciate how communicative she was and how well taken care of Ola was. She provided peace of mind, and most importantly, I can tell she is really good with dogs. She also helped out with our cockatiel.”

“Robyn was absolutely wonderful with Peggy. She went above and beyond to make sure Peggy was at ease while we were gone. She was on time and very communicative. It was such a relief when Peggy was absolutely excited to see Robyn the second day. Would 100% percent recommend Robyn! Thank you!!”

I also love cats and have one of my own! I am currently a student at Cal Poly, but I have a great balance between work and school. That being said, I am available Monday-Friday after 5pm, as well as all day on Saturday and Sunday! I am happy to do overnight stays as well! I currently cannot bring dogs into my own house, but I am more than happy to stay at your home and accommodate to any of your pets needs. “Kiana was awesome! She is clearly not just a dog liker, she is a dog LOVER. She gave great updates and communicated often, and we came home to a tidy house and a happy dog.”
About: What truly sets me apart is the genuine love and respect I have for animals—especially dogs. I’ve always had a natural connection with them, and I believe animals can sense the energy people bring around them. I make it a priority to create a calm, positive, and reassuring environment so they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m very attentive to each pet’s individual personality and needs. Whether a dog is playful and energetic or more shy and reserved, I take the time to build trust and help them feel at ease. I’m patient, gentle, and very intuitive when it comes to reading body language and understanding what makes animals feel secure. I grew up around dogs, so they’ve always been a huge part of my life. I wasn’t raised around cats quite as much, but over the past five years I’ve had the chance to spend much more time around them, and I’ve truly fallen in love with them. Getting to know their unique personalities has been such a joy, and now I adore cats just as much as I do dogs—with my whole heart. I’m also comfortable caring for pets at different life stages. I have patience with younger pets who are still learning routines and boundaries, and I’m especially gentle and mindful with senior pets who may need a slower pace, extra attention, or more comfort. My goal is always to make sure every pet feels loved, relaxed, and happy while in my care, and that owners feel confident knowing their pet is in kind and capable hands. Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because spending time with animals is something I truly enjoy and prioritize. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available on weekdays after 5:30 PM, which allows me to provide evening walks, check-ins, feeding, playtime, and companionship for pets who need care later in the day. On weekends, I have much more flexibility and am available throughout the day and evening. This allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care, whether that means longer visits, walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company so they feel safe and relaxed. I’m also single with no children, which gives me the ability to pivot my schedule easily and be flexible when needed. I’m very mindful of how important consistency and routine are for animals, so I make sure to be dependable and present during the times I commit to. Spending time with pets never feels like a task to me—it’s something that genuinely brings joy and positivity to my day. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities when caring for someone’s pet and home. I treat every pet as if they were my own and every home with the same respect and care I would expect for mine. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on maintaining the routine they’re already familiar with so they feel secure and comfortable. I carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific preferences the owner has. I also make sure pets receive plenty of attention, affection, and positive interaction so they feel relaxed and cared for while their owner is away. I’m very attentive to pets’ behavior and body language, which helps me make sure they are feeling safe and comfortable. I keep a calm and positive presence around animals, and I believe they respond really well to that energy. I’m also respectful of the home environment, keeping things tidy, secure, and exactly as the owner expects. Communication is important to me as well, so I’m happy to provide updates, photos, or messages so owners can feel reassured knowing their pet is safe, happy, and in caring hands.

Between my two dogs and three cats, my household is a tough situation for a pet sitter to deal with. Add to that the fact my animals are my kids and I’m retired so I spend a lot of my time focused on them! So I guess you can say my pets and myself are high maintenance! But Jan was so friendly and conscientious and my animals and I liked her from the start! I definitely would like to book her again if she’s willing to deal with all of us!!!!
