“This was the perfect environment and care for my very very social and energetic dog. At one point.my dog was experiencing some anxiety, so upon request, they remedied this with mixing some.pumpkin with her food. This was tjsn the perfect balance for her moving through the rest of her visit. This is my first booking using Rover since other dog boarding facilities were becoming to hard on her nervous system. I am bery happy I did! If I am ever in need of care again in this location I wouldnt hesitate to use these sweet humans! The children in the home also really added to Calis visit, bringing mutual joy during the entire stay. Thanks Tara and Jed, and family!”

About: Active and attentive family available to provide multiple levels of care for your fur baby! Our nine-year-old is interested in starting a dog walking business (with support from mom or dad), and we are also able to board a friendly dog who would be sharing space with our elderly dog or do drop-ins/ house sit when more appropriate (not the whole family!). We can provide exercise through walks, on-leash hikes, or whatever works for your dog. I’ve been around dogs most of my life and am comfortable with all ages (puppy to elderly). Our child is in a hybrid homeschool program so someone is home most days throughout the day to keep your pet company. Our child is a hybrid homeschool program so we are home 4 days a week all day and gone for an hour or two on school days for drop off and pick up. We have a fenced yard and live close to dog friendly beaches and trails. If you have a cat you need a sitter for, we are available for drop-ins or to stay at your residence because our dog has strong opinions about the feline species.
“Douglas was great with my two dogs! Highly recommend him if you need a sitter and peace of mind. He was great at giving updates and sending pics. You can tell he loves dogs and my dogs had a great time at his home. We will definitely use Douglas again. Thank you!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I’m was around 5, I grew up with poodles and we raised them . I would help the neighbors with their cats, dogs, birds and bunnies I currently work for full-time, but on the weekends I enjoy hanging out with dogs. I do enjoy walking them taking to the park having quality time with them. I can provide a fenced yard. There is a park a block away from my home. We can walk to to have open play or play on a leash.Or one on one play in door or in my fenced yard
“Lauren was great with my dog! I got daily updates on his walks and she was very responsive. I think my dog loved her backyard and he was able to play/get his energy out—after I picked him up he slept all day. I would book with Lauren again!”

“Josh looked after our golden pup and was an amazing sitter. His property is great for outdoor dogs, who can run around and play with his dogs. Josh was responsive and demonstrated expertise in dealing with difficult dogs like mine. Highly recommend.”

“Mellow, relaxed, thoughtful, attentive, caring I think my cat would rather adopt Cara as her owner than me, If she had the choice!! Good thing she doesn't, The little squirt 🤣 If my cat can't take another day of my shenanigans, I know exactly where to take her for peace of mind!”

“Rachel was fabulous! She kept me updated with Molly's activities and shared lots of pictures. It was obvious that Molly's was very happy and well-cared for there. She had Rachel's children to play with as well as her dog. I was a bit anxious because this was the first time we boarded Molly, but it turned out far better than expected. I will definitely use her services again! So happy!”

“Marissa took great care of my senior dog overnight! Sent me updated pictures throughout the time he was there and her dogs were super sweet and got along with mine great. Would definitely recommend 🤍”

“Natalie was outstanding! My dog stayed with her for 8 days. She went above and beyond to send updates and photos multiple times per day. She was so communicative, and it was obvious that my dog was having a great time! I seriously can't say enough about how great Natalie and her family are, and you should absolutely book with her with no hesitation. I will be rebooking with her anytime we go out of town. She's the best!! Thank you so much, Natalie and fam! :)”
“Wolfie enjoyed his stay at Kiara’ place. The entire family is really friendly and treated Wolfie as one of the family members. The house is clean and has big enough space for dogs. Def will recommend to others!”

“Adrienne is a wonderful human being. She is also a responsible, caring, affectionate and communicative sitter. I highly recommend her if you want peace of mind! We had a great experience with her caring for our fur baby. She took him on walks and even to the beach.”

“Robyn was an excellent caretaker for my 2-year-old cat. My cat is not neutered, and many pet sitters outright refused to take him, but Robyn was both enthusiastic and gracious in accepting him. She provided frequent updates along with plenty of photos, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She was also very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. It was clear she actively engaged with my cat—providing toys, attention, and a comfortable environment. From everything she shared, I could tell he was genuinely well cared for. Robyn is the definition of a caring, compassionate, and thoughtful person. I would absolutely rely on her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive pet sitter.”

“Thank you Sarah. We had a last minute hick up with our hotel in Avila Beach and Sarah came to the rescue. Last minute, replied immediately, took a dog overnight!!! Wonderful and grateful beyond words!! Thank you again Sarah!”

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
