“Grateful to Natalie for taking good care of our boy. This was our first time parting with him for so long since adopting him a month ago so it was tough but Natalie provided tons of photos and videos. We’re very grateful towards her :)”

“Lauren was very helpful and communicative. We were visiting from out of town which makes finding a sitter stressful, especially with our dog’s anxiety. We trusted Lauren completely and our dog was happy and well-taken care of the entire time. I would recommend Lauren if you are looking for a dog sitter!”

“Josh is fantastic with our pups and so nice to work with! We have used him several times and we know our dogs are safe and happy with him and his family on their beautiful property! He always goes the extra mile, checking in when it's appropriate and just taking good care of them when we are traveling internationally. I strongly recommend Josh to take care of your furry family members🐾❣️”

“Two weeks late with this review here. Marissa was awesome. Felt at ease while my girl was under her care. Marissa was professional keeping me updated with progress and photos. If you're looking to book in Atascadero, I wouldn't hesitate on letting her be your top choice in pup care. I'll certainly book again when in the are. Thank you for taking care of my little girl!”

“Tara and Jed were fantastic! They took lots of photos of Clem, our dog, and updated us on all the fun adventures they had with her. I will be asking them for help in the future!”

“Anne is brand new to Rover, but she performed as if she has been doing it for 10 years. I was EXTREMELY pleased with her care of our Basset Hound in her home while we were away. Her home is fully secure and provides a very safe environment for a dog out of it's normal space. She walked Chester through her neighborhood and provided him plenty of opportunity for exercise as well as sent me numerous photos throughout his stay with her. Anne is pleasant, mature, and shows great judgement. Chester came home happy and content and is looking forward to the next time I need a sitter so he can go back and visit with her! I will use Anne for all future needs we have with Chester and would highly recommend her to others.”
“Robyn was wonderful with Scoobert. We noticed he felt comfortable with her and she greeted him and gave him attention as soon as we saw her. We also met previous to his stay to make sure it was a good fit, which put our minds to ease. Thank you again for making it possible to spend time with our family visiting for the holiday.”

“Rachel and her family took great care of my Bridget girl. She sent updates and photos and I could see the happiness in Bridget’s face in the photos. I’ve already booked Rachel for our next trip.”

“Wolfie enjoyed his stay at Kiara’ place. The entire family is really friendly and treated Wolfie as one of the family members. The house is clean and has big enough space for dogs. Def will recommend to others!”

“Katie was an amazing pet sitter for Gracie, our four-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd. She kept in touch with us about how Gracie was doing and even sent pictures with her taking Gracie on a walk at the beach! I will definitely call on Katie again next time we are in town. Thank you, Katie!”

About: I have real, everyday experience caring for multiple dogs at once, including my own three, so I’m very comfortable handling different temperaments, energy levels, and routines. I’m used to everything from playful, high-energy dogs to more anxious or shy ones, and I adjust my care based on what each dog needs. I’m confident with feeding routines, potty schedules, and reinforcing basic training, and I always keep a close eye on behavior to make sure every dog is safe and comfortable. What sets me apart is my ability to manage multiple dogs while still giving each one individual attention and care. I already care for my own dogs daily, so adding pet care into my routine is a natural fit. I’m home often and able to provide regular potty breaks, feeding, and attention throughout the day. Dogs staying with me won’t be left alone for long and will be part of a consistent, comfortable routine. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I can accommodate both weekday and weekend bookings. I make sure every dog gets plenty of attention and feels safe and cared for while they’re with me. I provide a safe, clean, and structured environment where dogs can feel comfortable and relaxed. I have a fenced yard for secure outdoor time and always supervise dogs while they’re outside to ensure their safety. In my home, I carefully manage introductions and monitor interactions to make sure all dogs get along and feel comfortable. I also have crates available if needed, whether for sleeping, downtime, or to match a dog’s normal routine. I stick closely to each dog’s schedule, including feeding times, potty breaks, and any specific care instructions provided by the owner. Dogs in my care are never left alone for long periods, and I always keep a close eye on behavior to make sure everyone stays safe and stress-free. What sets me apart is how attentive I am to each dog’s individual needs. Whether a dog is energetic, shy, or needs extra patience, I make sure they feel secure, cared for, and right at home.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I have taken care of dogs and cats professionally and for friends and family throughout the years and love it! I am currently working part time and will have plenty of time to play with your pups. I an available on weekdays and weekends any time except for Mondays after 2 pm. I have a fully fenced yard and a cozy home to keep your fur babies comfy. And I can easily crate your pups if needed.
“Hannah took excellent care of our newly adopted Shih Tzu Molly. We needed last minute care while we attended Mid state fair Concert. We were nervous to leave our new baby but Hannah made us comfortable and was perfect! She sent pictures and gave Molly TLC the whole time we were gone. We HIGHLY recommend Hannah.”

“They were very kind and accommodating to my dogs needs and last minute booking arrangements, their two dogs were well behaved and helped my fur baby feel right at home in their family! I highly recommend any others who need a dog sitter to consider leaving your dog in good hands with this lovely couple!”

“Andy was so very sweet! Our little Oso is very shy and timid, plus a little scared of people, seems he felt very comfortable at Andy's house. We received updates with pictures and felt very at-ease knowing he was in good hands. We will definitely recommend and re-hire him! Thank you!!!”
“I cannot be more pleased with the care Sara provided for my very senior dog, Kona. Kona stayed with Sara for 5 days and appeared to adapt quickly to Sara and her house. Without asking, Sara took the initiative sending updates and images of Kona throughout her stay. Sara quickly replied to my inquiries before and during Kona's stay. One of the reasons why I initially chose Sara, was the experience she listed as working in a veterinary's office and the fact that she put together a very thorough bio describing her background in working with animals. I was initially considering a kennel in Arroyo Grande but was concerned that being in a large kennel environment would be hard on a senior dog like my Kona. With Sara's veterinary experience, she felt that a quieter home environment would be easier on a senior dog, without me bringing up this concern of mine. If you are looking for good quality care for your pet, I highly recommend Sara! Kona will be returning soon to Sara's home when I travel out of state.”

“What a great person. We were able to leave our dog Lilly and enjoy my son’s wedding weekend in SLO. This is the first overnight and weekend our Lilly has experienced in her four years of life. I think she enjoyed every minute; large backyard and an outstanding caregiver.”

Lauren was very helpful and communicative. We were visiting from out of town which makes finding a sitter stressful, especially with our dog’s anxiety. We trusted Lauren completely and our dog was happy and well-taken care of the entire time. I would recommend Lauren if you are looking for a dog sitter!

Robyn is amazing! She was so loving and caring, not just towards Opal, but to us as well. We received many pictures and updates during our trip, and we felt completely at ease that our sweet girl was in the best hands. We will definitely be booking with Robyn again! 💗

Victoria, took good care of our girl Luna while we were on a family out of town trip. Easy to communicate with, responds with follow up photos. Kept our girl busy and engaged. She said our Luna got along well with her dog Dale, matched energy and all. Happy to find someone who loves her energetic and her cuddly sides.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
