“Rachel and her loving family took fantastic care of our little 6 month old puppy. This was the first time we had left her with someone and we really appreciated the attention to detail and expertise that Rachel provided. We will definitely be using her services in the future and are so glad to have found her!!”

“I felt very comfortable leaving my extra large, hyper puppy for the first time. Sara was reliable, responsive, and professional. She clearly has a depth of experience with all kinds of dogs and I felt %100 confident that my pup was in great hands.”

“Marla is so calm and kind- her love of dogs shows in the great care she gave our two pups! This was the first time we left one of our dogs with a sitter and he seemed to do so well and clearly happy with the care. We hope to have Marla back to take care of our pups on our next trip away.”

“Two weeks late with this review here. Marissa was awesome. Felt at ease while my girl was under her care. Marissa was professional keeping me updated with progress and photos. If you're looking to book in Atascadero, I wouldn't hesitate on letting her be your top choice in pup care. I'll certainly book again when in the are. Thank you for taking care of my little girl!”

“Gracie had a fantastic time with Robyn! She had her picture taken frequently with daily updates sent to me. She made friends with June, Poppy, and Sadie. Robyn was so gracious to make topping for Gracie's kibble, when mom didn't send her with enough. Best of all, Robyn volunteered to bathe Gracie before pick-up so she would smell nice for us!! We look forward to many more stays with Robyn!”

About: I have been a dog owner since childhood and grew up in farm country Wisconsin so animals have a fond place in my heart. I've been involved in animal rescue for over 15 years as well as working as a dog trainer in the past. I believe in positive training and reward system. Your fur baby will be treated as if they are part of my own pack, spoiled with love. My work schedule is very flexible as I work from home so your pet will always be cared and looked after. I know your pets are family and should be treated as such and that's priority #1 when your pet is with me. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. Both my animals and yours will be a priority and always have companionship from myself and my puppy I have a large enclosed backyard for fresh air and sunning but always visible to watch them. I’m very alert and aware on walks and hikes at all times as well
“Josh is very responsive to messages and he takes great care of our pup. She is anxious, but after a weekend staying with Josh and playing with his pups she always comes home happy. We board her with Josh regularly and trust that she is in good hands.”

“Natalie and her daughter gave my dog excellent care and lots of love. Natalie also promptly refunded a days fee when I returned a day early! As a Rover host myself, I highly recommend Natalie.”

“She was absolutely amazing with the dogs! She took such great care of them and treated them like they were her own. She was very kind, caring, and attentive, and I felt completely comfortable knowing they were in good hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pets! 🐶💕”
“My wife and I love this lady. We have an immensely energetic puppy, Chava, who we need to train as a service dog. Madelyn has been a godsend, taking very good care of Chava and helping us with sound advice. Check out her other services; she doesn't just board.”

“This was the perfect environment and care for my very very social and energetic dog. At one point.my dog was experiencing some anxiety, so upon request, they remedied this with mixing some.pumpkin with her food. This was tjsn the perfect balance for her moving through the rest of her visit. This is my first booking using Rover since other dog boarding facilities were becoming to hard on her nervous system. I am bery happy I did! If I am ever in need of care again in this location I wouldnt hesitate to use these sweet humans! The children in the home also really added to Calis visit, bringing mutual joy during the entire stay. Thanks Tara and Jed, and family!”

“Thanks so much Janice for first meeting and greeting us before the visit and sending lots of photos during! Sammie was so happy to be there he didn’t want to leave. Your backyard is beautiful and doggy friendly, including this Houdini!”
“Most amazing place to bring your dog. I knew my dog was going to be in a happy healthy place as soon as I met her. Her two little dogs greeted my little girl with sniffs and love. I would recommend her 100%.”

“Andy was so very sweet! Our little Oso is very shy and timid, plus a little scared of people, seems he felt very comfortable at Andy's house. We received updates with pictures and felt very at-ease knowing he was in good hands. We will definitely recommend and re-hire him! Thank you!!!”

“Katie was an amazing pet sitter for Gracie, our four-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd. She kept in touch with us about how Gracie was doing and even sent pictures with her taking Gracie on a walk at the beach! I will definitely call on Katie again next time we are in town. Thank you, Katie!”

“Wolfie enjoyed his stay at Kiara’ place. The entire family is really friendly and treated Wolfie as one of the family members. The house is clean and has big enough space for dogs. Def will recommend to others!”

“Krissy and Eric are literally the best!!! Their space was a perfect fit for our high energy , jumping, crazy dog for 6 nights !! They sent multiple pictures every day. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Paso Robles
Hannah took excellent care of our newly adopted Shih Tzu Molly. We needed last minute care while we attended Mid state fair Concert. We were nervous to leave our new baby but Hannah made us comfortable and was perfect! She sent pictures and gave Molly TLC the whole time we were gone. We HIGHLY recommend Hannah.

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
