“Hannah took excellent care of our newly adopted Shih Tzu Molly. We needed last minute care while we attended Mid state fair Concert. We were nervous to leave our new baby but Hannah made us comfortable and was perfect! She sent pictures and gave Molly TLC the whole time we were gone. We HIGHLY recommend Hannah.”

“Marla is so calm and kind- her love of dogs shows in the great care she gave our two pups! This was the first time we left one of our dogs with a sitter and he seemed to do so well and clearly happy with the care. We hope to have Marla back to take care of our pups on our next trip away.”

“Rachel and her loving family took fantastic care of our little 6 month old puppy. This was the first time we had left her with someone and we really appreciated the attention to detail and expertise that Rachel provided. We will definitely be using her services in the future and are so glad to have found her!!”

“We highly recommend Lauren T! Our dogs boarded with her over Christmas and she treated them like part of the family, even wrapping gifts for them to open. She walked them daily, even taking them to the beach. She sent us updates and photos of our happy dogs every day, too! Thank you, Lauren, for taking such great care of our beloved pups!”

“Marissa took great care of my senior dog overnight! Sent me updated pictures throughout the time he was there and her dogs were super sweet and got along with mine great. Would definitely recommend 🤍”

About: I have been a dog owner since childhood and grew up in farm country Wisconsin so animals have a fond place in my heart. I've been involved in animal rescue for over 15 years as well as working as a dog trainer in the past. I believe in positive training and reward system. Your fur baby will be treated as if they are part of my own pack, spoiled with love. My work schedule is very flexible as I work from home so your pet will always be cared and looked after. I know your pets are family and should be treated as such and that's priority #1 when your pet is with me. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible. Both my animals and yours will be a priority and always have companionship from myself and my puppy I have a large enclosed backyard for fresh air and sunning but always visible to watch them. I’m very alert and aware on walks and hikes at all times as well

About: I provide attentive, personalized care, maintain routines, give regular updates, create a calm home environment, and treat every pet with genuine patience and affection. Thanks! I work part time, usually in the mornings. I have ample time to play with pups, give plenty of potty breaks, and provide them food. I have a partially fenced yard and one very friendly pup to keep yours company. I can also provide great care at you home too.
“I felt very comfortable leaving my extra large, hyper puppy for the first time. Sara was reliable, responsive, and professional. She clearly has a depth of experience with all kinds of dogs and I felt %100 confident that my pup was in great hands.”

“Wolfie enjoyed his stay at Kiara’ place. The entire family is really friendly and treated Wolfie as one of the family members. The house is clean and has big enough space for dogs. Def will recommend to others!”

“Josh looked after our golden pup and was an amazing sitter. His property is great for outdoor dogs, who can run around and play with his dogs. Josh was responsive and demonstrated expertise in dealing with difficult dogs like mine. Highly recommend.”

“Thanks for taking Rocky on his own adventure in wine country while we went wine-tasting - walks and playdates at the park, live music and socializing at pet friendly Calipaso. So glad to have found you and appreciate you accepting to care for our pup just a day before our trip! Looks like he had fun with you!”
“This was an excellent experience with great care for our dog. Chili has special heart problem that requires her to have medication three times a day so we rarely leave her but, Jed and Tara handled it with care and attention! Chili loved playing with their children and did not want to leave when we came to pick her up she was having so much fun. They were flexible, communicative and cared well for our dog. Thank you!”

About: I like to walk the dogs daily around the Atascadero Lake. I have a decent size fenced backyard with room to run and use my poop scooper daily. I am retired and looking for things to do during the week (mon-Fri) to fill my days. I have always loved the company of dogs and love to take them on daily walks. I have a dog bed in my bedroom, where your dog would sleep at night. The dogs water bowl is always kept clean and fresh. The dogs would always be welcome to hang out in the house with me, too.
“My wife and I love this lady. We have an immensely energetic puppy, Chava, who we need to train as a service dog. Madelyn has been a godsend, taking very good care of Chava and helping us with sound advice. Check out her other services; she doesn't just board.”

“Thanks so much Janice for first meeting and greeting us before the visit and sending lots of photos during! Sammie was so happy to be there he didn’t want to leave. Your backyard is beautiful and doggy friendly, including this Houdini!”
“Jelisa did an excellent job taking care of my dog Lucy at her own home while “boarding her”. She sent pictures and Lucy was happy and tired out from all the open space she was able to run around at her place. She treated Lucy as her own and kept her on her meds and all the specific details for my dog who has a few medical issues that needed to be taken care of. Thanks for being amazing with our sweet Lucy!! I highly recommend Jelisa for all your dog caring needs!”

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
