About: I have tons of animal experience, from chickens to horses and everything in between. Many of my high school years were spent in dog and cat rescue, and I have taken multiple animal science courses in college so I am very comfortable with a wide range of medical and behavioral needs. I'm not scared off by or wary of animals that might need more time to warm up. I'm also very active and outdoorsy and am always looking to have an animal join me on my various adventures and outings if that is what they are into. I work with dogs and cats of all sizes, energy levels, and ages, and can give oral medication, injections, or do bladder expression if needed. I am currently on summer break from my college classes and working part-time remotely from home, so I have a lot of flexibility in terms of scheduling. I’m comfortable playing, feeding, giving medication, crating, or anything else your pet might need. I treat all animals with the love and respect they deserve.

“Leaving Harmony with someone new was honestly one of the hardest things I have ever done. She has never stayed with a stranger before, and I was incredibly nervous about leaving her for nine days while I traveled to Orlando for my nephew’s graduation. From the very beginning, Sandra was kind, communicative, and reassuring. A few days into my trip, Harmony became very sick with diarrhea, vomiting, and accidents in Sandra’s apartment, including blood in her stool. I felt terrible that Harmony was sick and also horrible that Sandra was having to deal with such a stressful situation in her home. What stood out to me was Sandra’s level of care and compassion. She never made me feel like Harmony was a burden. Instead, she immediately went to the store to get pumpkin to help settle her stomach, kept me updated constantly, and when things worsened, she let me know she believed Harmony needed to see a vet. Sandra took Harmony to the vet herself, called me from the appointment, and even put me on speakerphone so I could speak directly with the veterinarian and be part of the conversation every step of the way. Multiple times I asked Sandra if she thought I needed to come home early, and she told me she would absolutely tell me if she felt that was necessary. Because of Sandra, I was able to stay and watch my nephew graduate knowing Harmony was safe, cared for, and genuinely loved while I was away. Not once did I question whether Harmony was receiving the best care possible. I came home today to a well cared for dog, and I truly cannot thank Sandra enough. If you are looking for someone who will treat your pet like family and handle even difficult situations with patience, compassion, and professionalism, book Sandra. We were sent some fun photos of Stompy playing and relaxing at a local Dog Beach and learned that he was comfortable enough to get into the water which is a first for our dog who has always had a water phobia. About: I would always help my sister take care of dogs when she was animal sitting on rover. I currently am babysitting and working for Respite so I have experience in childcare. I love animals and would love to make some extra money as a college student. I am currently attending Cuesta College twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
