At one point.my dog was experiencing some anxiety, so upon request, they remedied this with mixing some.pumpkin with her food. This was tjsn the perfect balance for her moving through the rest of her visit. This is my first booking using Rover since other dog boarding facilities were becoming to hard on her nervous system. I am bery happy I did! If I am ever in need of care again in this location I wouldnt hesitate to use these sweet humans! About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I’m was around 5, I grew up with poodles and we raised them . I would help the neighbors with their cats,dogs,birds and bunnies I currently work for full-time, but on the weekends I enjoy hanging out with dogs. I own one of my own. I do enjoy walking them taking to the park having quality time with them. I can provide a fenced yard. There is a park a block away from my home. We can walk to to have open play or play on a leash.Or one on one play in door or in my fenced yard
About: I’ve had experience caring for large dogs my whole life and currently handle most of the day-to-day care for my own dog, so I’m very comfortable with feeding routines, walks, exercise, and keeping dogs happy and well-behaved. I’ve also been pet sitting since high school, caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. What sets me apart is how attentive and hands-on I am. I treat every dog like my own, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’m especially confident with bigger dogs and can adapt to each dog’s routine, whether that means active playtime or a calmer, more relaxed environment. Until early June, I have school and work during the week, along with some busy weekends, but I’m still available for pet care with enough notice and can work around my schedule. I don’t have any pets myself so okay with dogs/cats that don’t like or can’t be around other animals 👍🏻 Available in Grover Beach for walking, boarding, house check ins, any pet related needs! I set my own work schedule, don’t tend to be away from home for more then a couple hours at a time, and I live with my grandmother who loves to sit and talk animals so they’ll get plenty of love and attention! I live in condo near a dog park, No children or pets live in the house, no toxic houseplants or choking hazards. Can board overnight

About: hi there!! my love for animals is unmatched and i hope to share some love to as many animals as i can! i just retired as a d1 college gymnast and i graduate from san jose state university in the fall of 2026, so i have much more time on my hands now that i am done with gymnastics. i’ve grown up with only cats, but i have helped with dog sitting for family members and my friends many times! The most important thing to me is communication and you can trust me when I say that if I am confused or have a question or need any clarification, I will ask. Keeping your pets the safest and most comfortable as possible is #1 . I look forward to hopefully meeting your pet and creating a fun and strong bond with them! thanks so much I’m in the gymnastics team at SJSU and we just finished season so our schedule is quiet clear then it used to be! Weekends are better for overnight care, and I can wake up however early and stay up however late that is needed for the owner! Right now, anytime after 5:30 during the week is best. I care for pets by showing them attention, feeding them and giving them the everyday needs, playing with them outside, teaching more tricks, and loving them as if they’re my own!

Shantal is a wonderful dog sitter! Communication was excellent throughout the entire stay, and I felt confident that my dog was in great hands. I have a 4.5yo Golden Retriever, and I initially chose Shantal because she also has a Golden. I'm so glad I did! I received so many adorable photos of the two pups having a great time together. Eli stayed with Shantel for about a day and a half and they went on multiple walks as well as a full hike. You can tell that Shantal genuinely loves dogs and cares about a dog's unique personality and needs. She took time to ask thoughtful questions and chat with my husband and me when we dropped our pup off, which immediately put us at ease. It was clear that our dog was well cared for, had plenty of attention, and truly enjoyed her stay. We will absolutely be booking with Shantal again in the future. When we picked Eli up it was clear that she was calm and happy. 10/10 highly recommend!
Leaving Harmony with someone new was honestly one of the hardest things I have ever done. She has never stayed with a stranger before, and I was incredibly nervous about leaving her for nine days while I traveled to Orlando for my nephew’s graduation. From the very beginning, Sandra was kind, communicative, and reassuring. A few days into my trip, Harmony became very sick with diarrhea, vomiting, and accidents in Sandra’s apartment, including blood in her stool. I felt terrible that Harmony was sick and also horrible that Sandra was having to deal with such a stressful situation in her home. What stood out to me was Sandra’s level of care and compassion. She never made me feel like Harmony was a burden. Instead, she immediately went to the store to get pumpkin to help settle her stomach, kept me updated constantly, and when things worsened, she let me know she believed Harmony needed to see a vet. Sandra took Harmony to the vet herself, called me from the appointment, and even put me on speakerphone so I could speak directly with the veterinarian and be part of the conversation every step of the way. Multiple times I asked Sandra if she thought I needed to come home early, and she told me she would absolutely tell me if she felt that was necessary. Because of Sandra, I was able to stay and watch my nephew graduate knowing Harmony was safe, cared for, and genuinely loved while I was away. Not once did I question whether Harmony was receiving the best care possible. I came home today to a well cared for dog, and I truly cannot thank Sandra enough. If you are looking for someone who will treat your pet like family and handle even difficult situations with patience, compassion, and professionalism, book Sandra. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
Lauren was absolutely wonderful with our Siberian Husky/Shibu Inu mix. She took her on a long walk around/near campus. She was very communicative and sent us updates and pictures. We highly recommend her and would definitely use her dog sitting services again when we are in the SLO area.
Doug was superb. We dropped our dog, Indy, off at his house for a 4-night stay. He asked great questions before her stay. He was very easy to work with, before drop off, and when I brought our dog to his house. I received regular updates on her stay, which included some pictures. Ava is very nice and was great with my high energy border collies. She took them to the beach, on walks and on a long hike (which I’m sure they loved) and sent updates with lots of pictures. She took really good care of my dogs and they really liked her. I highly recommend Ava.
This is the first time I left my dog Cooper with anybody. I am so happy that we found Katrina. She and her housemates were amazing , and they took phenomenal care of Cooper. She continued to give me updates and cute photos of him while we were out of town. I'm sad that she's graduating (but happy for her) and moving on. She's a great dog sitter.❤️

Vicky did a great job taking care of our cavapoo, Dude. She was accommodating with Dropoff/pickup and was always communicative with updates on how he was doing. She exercised him well and he came back to us worn out (in a good way). Would definitely book her again.
