About: I’ve pet sat my neighbors pets (1 dog and 1 cat) for 7 years. I love taking dogs out for walks and seeing them interact with nature and other passing animals. I have a 4 year old cat named Basil and I used to have a pet hedgehog named Pepper. Nothing brings me more joy than being around animals! I work remotely (east coast hours) during the week are flexible so im up early and can stop by in between calls and anytime in the afternoon as my day slows down after 2pm. Weekends are usually fully open. I think the most important thing is to build trust with your pet and with you! About: New to Rover, not to pet care! I’ve housesat for friends with dogs many times, providing overnight care, feeding, daily walks, playtime, and lots of attention. First and foremost, I love animals. I’m a very active person, so I genuinely enjoy getting the dogs outside for long walks and exercise tailored to their energy level. I work from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision, flexible, scheduling, and reliable care throughout the day. I understand how important routine and communication are to pet parents, and I’m committed to keeping you updated with pictures and ensuring your dog feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I also have two cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable with pet care responsibilities and understand the trust involved in caring for someone’s animal. I’m currently working from home with a lot of flexibility, so I’m able to provide quick drop-ins or full time house sitting. My remote work allows me to be attentive and responsive throughout the day. Your pet safety and comfort are my type priorities. I follow all care, instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, routines, and any specific household guidelines. I understand how important consistency is for pets and work to maintain their normal routine while you’re away. I’m attentive to behavior changes and always prioritize a calm, low stress environment. During housesitting, I will treat your home with the utmost respect and keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can feel confident in your pet is well cared for.

About: I am a life long dog lover and have had many dogs over the years (work travel prevents me from ownership right now). Over the years my household (me, adult son, grand daughter (6)) have adopted or fostered a wide variety of dogs from a puppy to be trained and moved on to forever home to senior dogs who ultimately ended up with their forever home right here. I am excellent at giving medication (was a LPN for humans), long walks that I enjoy as much as the dog, and am open to any dog related service your dog may need. I will always treat your dog like the wonderful individual they are. I am open to any size dog and ANY breed (I have great relationships with pit bulls, Chihuahua's, and other high difficulty breads) We will discuss your system of punishment and reward so that we are on the same page. Feel free to contact me with any questions I am a work from home writer, artist, photographer, and journalist, so I have lots of open time. I do travel for work in the summer months which does leave some days completely unavailable, but otherwise ready to walk from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. There is no other way to say it, I love dogs and will treat your dog with more respect than most humans receive. The walks will be well planned and any care will be exactly what you requested.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and taken care of my own, my friends and families dogs while they were away. I am very comfortable around all breeds of dogs and am willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your pet. I’ve potty trained puppies and taught older untrained dogs how to sit, and I give my dogs a lot of attention and love! I would love to take them to the park to play with other dogs or just a walk around the neighborhood if they’re not as outgoing. I also have experience with administering oral medication and bathing dogs afraid of water, so let me know what accommodations your dog needs. I’m currently working part time for the summer at Cal Poly, and have a catering gig some weekends. I’m available to feed pets multiple times a day, take them on walks mid day/evenings, and keep company overnight. I have a small, fenced yard for pets to stretch out and get sun, and I live right next to Sant Rosa park which is perfect for walking. I’m also available for drop ins at clients homes late night and early morning, although I would prefer not to do overnights.

About: I've had dogs my entire life and have over 19 years of hands-on experience caring for them. Growing up, we often had two dogs at a time, so I helped with feeding, walking, playtime, and providing daily care from a young age. About: I love hanging out with dogs while their parents parents are away! I am a big hiker, so on the weekends I love taking the dogs out for a hike/long walks and even the beach if allowed! I currently work 8-5 with occasional early entry at 6am. Weekends I am free, and evenings I am free. I am typically active early in the morning, able to feed and walk in the mornings and afternoons. I typically like to pet sit at the owners home to make the time away from the pets parents as seamless as possible! I am incredible respectful of other peoples homes and incredibly clean and tidy.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and have always loved animals, i’ve watched our family friends cat, have watched my own dogs, I love doing walks or taking them to parks to play, I can give bathed and feed, whatever you need I can do! I do work part time with a wonky schedule, but I will do whatever I can to be able to drop-in and check on your pup or take them for walks! I have a fenced in yard, I keep an eye on the dogs, make sure they use the bathroom, get fed, and get some energy out!

About: I used to work at a dog shelter in San Francisco and did rehabilitation of special needs dogs for 2 years. I currently volunteer with the dogs at San Luis Obispo County Animal Services. Comfortable with almost any dog. I've taken care of feral dogs since I was a kid. My friends always have me watch their pets or step in and help with medical recovery as needed. I'm home every day at the moment. When I'm not home the dogs have the choice of a crate or gated area in the kitchen. Unfortunately they don't get to free roam unless I know them well. I currently have no pets at home and live alone so your pet will be my main focus when they are with me. My house is a very calm environment both indoors and outdoors. No fenced yard but plenty of outdoor space and close to many good walks. If they are staying the night they need to be comfortable sleeping in a crate or gated area in the kitchen.
