About: I’ve been caring for and pet sitting animals since I was 12 years old. I’m currently an Animal Science Major pursuing veterinary medicine. I’ve also interned with both small and large animal vet practices where I gained valuable experience handling all animals, cleaning, assisting during checkups, giving medication and ensuring all animals were comfortable. I’ve worked with pets of different ages, sizes, and temperaments and understand the importance of safe, compassionate, and reliable care. As an Animal science student, my class schedule can vary. However, I have significant availability outside of class and carefully manage my time to ensure pets receive the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. About: I have extensive experience with pets and livestock, from my own animals growing up to working five years in veterinary medicine. Whether your dog needs a stroll around the neighborhood or your kitty needs regular insulin injections, I can handle it all! My degree is in animal science, and I previously worked as a technician specializing in oncology and critical care. I am comfortable with special needs, geriatric, or young pets that may need additional supervision. In addition, I can provide basic aquarium care as well as livestock care (in case you have horses, cows, goats, etc). I am currently working from home, so my schedule is flexible to pop in for a walk or house-sit! When housesitting, I will be around all day to ensure that your pet’s needs are taken care of. While I am no replacement for their parents, I treat everyone’s pets as if they’re my own! This means lots of interaction, enrichment activities, and playtime. When your pets see me, I want them to know they’re in for a loads of fun— hopefully this helps take their minds off missing you too much.

About: I have a very diverse background in pet care. I grew up with a German Shorthaired Pointer and currently have a Blue Heeler, but my parents also have a French Bulldog so I deeply understand both the needs of high energy dogs and lower energy dogs. I have fostered dogs and cats since I was 12 years old, whose needs varied frequently, I have experience with small day old puppies, to older senior dogs. I have valuable experience in training and socializing dogs, I have put my own dog through training with multiple trainers that I have gotten to learn from, and use that knowledge to then train and socialize my foster puppies. I am currently a full time Animal Science student at Cal Poly, with most of my classes being in the mornings, making my schedule free on the weekends, Fridays before 11:30am and/or after 2pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays after 2pm, and varying availability Mondays and Wednesdays. I already go on multiple walks throughout the day and on the weekends I love to hike and go to the beach, all of which I would love to be able to take a pup on as well! I am able to work with pets in any fashion that fits the pet owners needs. I understand every pet differs, so I can take into account any special instructions and thoroughly follow them to keep your pet and home safe.

About: I am a huge animal lover. Ever since I was little I have loved being around animals. I started pet sitting for my neighbors since I was 15. They rely on me to feed and water their pets, let them out when needed, walk them, and sometimes give them their medication. 2 years ago, our family got our first dog; his name is Sydney and he's an Aussiedoodle. I already had a lot of experience with pets from pet sitting but I have really learned so much more from him which has helped me learn how to handle all types of pets. He's one of the best things to ever happen to us and really is the center of my family's universe. I'm a college student so I do have classes this semester but I am relatively free in the afternoons and evenings. Fridays and weekends are when I have the most availability. Times will vary depending on my schedule but I am flexible and happy to work with you to figure out what will be the best fit for everyone. When I am taking care of your pets, I'll always make sure to treat them as my own. I try to maintain a consistent routine as much as possible and give them lots of extra love and attention because I know how hard it can be on pets when their humans leave. Additionally, I make sure that they are able to eat and drink water during each visit because I know that sometimes their appetite decreases if they're sad and missing their owners. I love walking and I would love to spend time walking your pets and making sure they have fun and are comfortable but I can't walk more than dog at a time. I am also happy to accommodate any special needs your pet might have and keep you updated with pictures etc to put your mind at ease. My goal is that your pets remain happy and healthy while I am taking care of them.

I am a current student at Cal Poly, Mon-Fri, but I am done each day but I have a very open schedule Mon/Wed/Fri, and I am done by 3:50 latest on Tues/Thurs! About: Hi! I’m Sophie! I graduated with my degree in Animal Science in 2022 and am currently back in school while working part-time. My schedule gives me a lot more flexibility, so I’d love to spend my days off hanging out with your pets! I’ve always loved animals and have been around dogs and cats my whole life. I have a cat of my own, Koko. I also spend a lot of time with my boyfriend’s pit bull and help take care of her pretty often. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I have a car and am happy to take dogs on walks, to the park, or wherever they enjoy going.
