“Adrienne is a wonderful human being. She is also a responsible, caring, affectionate and communicative sitter. I highly recommend her if you want peace of mind! We had a great experience with her caring for our fur baby. She took him on walks and even to the beach.”

“Kara is a gem! I hope that she’s open to taking our dogs because I felt 100% confident that our pups were in good hands. She was very approachable, easy to communicate with and sent us pictures and updates.”

“Katie was so wonderful! My dog came home relaxed and tired from all the fun. I can tell she was properly cared for and given a lot of attention and exercise. I was so grateful for Katie’s kindness and understanding of my special, quirky dog.”

“Andrew met us and our dogs before their stay. He accommodated an early drop off and responded immediately to all of our texts. He is easy to work with and we will certainly request him again.”

“Appreciated Josh responding quickly to my last minute booking request. Buddy was very happy to be there and looked just as happy when I picked him up.. which says he loved it. 😊 thank you Josh for taking very good care of buddy.”

“Kambry was very responsive and was able to watch for our dog Goose on short notice for the evening. Goose can be uneasy and reactive, but Kambry was able to handle everything super well with care and understanding. She is definitely an experienced sitter and I recommend her to anyone searching in the SLO area!”

“This was an excellent experience with great care for our dog. Chili has special heart problem that requires her to have medication three times a day so we rarely leave her but, Jed and Tara handled it with care and attention! Chili loved playing with their children and did not want to leave when we came to pick her up she was having so much fun. They were flexible, communicative and cared well for our dog. Thank you!”

“Lauren and her family are nothing short of fantastic. They watched our 14 year old pupper, Duke, and I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. This was our first time using a pet sitter, so we were a bit nervous- but Lauren and her family made it such a positive, comforting experience. Lauren was incredibly communicative throughout the planning, and even during Duke's stay. Her family has a genuine love for animals- I can't even begin to overstate it. One of the sweetest moments? I came to pick Duke up from his sleepover and, as we were walking out the door, Duke actually walked back in just to say goodbye to the kids. That's how we knew he felt safe and happy there. We already have plans for Duke to have future sleepovers with Lauren and her family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a loving, responsible, and attentive pet sitter. She and her family are absolute gems.”

“Our dog Bentley had such a wonderful time with Shantal and her dog Kala. They went on fun hikes and walks each day which was perfect for my high energy dog. Shantal was a great communicator listening to all the details of our dog's care. I felt confident Bentley was in good hands while we were away. She sent us fun photos of their time out and about. I think Bentley had a blast! Thanks so much Shantal and Kala! We look forward to having Bentley stay with you again!”

“Niccola made my vacation so much more enjoyable knowing that my fur baby was well taken care of. She sent me updates and pictures and I plan to use her every time I can. Thanks Niccola!”

“Lauren welcomed my 10 mo old puppy with open arms. From the moment we arrived, Lauren and her fur babies welcomed my girl and provided the perfect stay while I was away. Lauren’s communication was great, pictures were sent showing how at home my girl had become. Lauren was exceptionally accommodating, and kind. When I arrive to pick up my pup, she was playing, happy and unfazed that I was there (to me, this is the perfect sign of a well cared for dog). I’ll be calling Lauren for future overnight stays. Your dog will love Lauren!!!”

“Monique had a very dog friendly house! She seemed really kind and like true pet lover. I have never left my dogs with someone that wasn’t family so I was nervous but after meeting her I felt comfortable knowing they’d be in good hands. While we were away she sent pictures and was great with communication! I was able to relax and enjoy the trip knowing my fur babies were happy!”

“Anne is brand new to Rover, but she performed as if she has been doing it for 10 years. I was EXTREMELY pleased with her care of our Basset Hound in her home while we were away. Her home is fully secure and provides a very safe environment for a dog out of it's normal space. She walked Chester through her neighborhood and provided him plenty of opportunity for exercise as well as sent me numerous photos throughout his stay with her. Anne is pleasant, mature, and shows great judgement. Chester came home happy and content and is looking forward to the next time I need a sitter so he can go back and visit with her! I will use Anne for all future needs we have with Chester and would highly recommend her to others.”
“Patty is my favorite. My dog Lynk had so much fun at Patty’s place the past 10 days. I can tell Lynk had the time of her life because she’s still tired and has a smile on her face from all the fun and outdoor play time she had with Patty. Thank you!”

“I could not have asked for a better boarding experience for my dog! Krissy and her husband are so kind and clearly care a lot about every dog’s well being. I received daily photo updates with additional notes on how my dog was doing which made me feel very reassured. When my international flight was cancelled and Emmylou (my dog) had to stay one more day, it was no problem. I picked up my dog happy and healthy and tired. Highly recommend Krissy’s dog camp!”

“Drew did an excellent job visiting my cats. She got my very shy and timid cats to eat and socialize right away. Drew's updates and photos were super cute and very reassuring, and she gave me total confidence to enjoy my vacation. Highly recommended!”

“Joshua was an outstanding pet sitter, he went above and beyond and really put us at ease while away on vacation. Our animals were well taken care of with updates and pictures after each visit. My black cat even came out of hiding for him, which is highly unusual. Yes we will be booking him again!!”

About: I’ve grown up with cats my whole life. I’ve also taken care of my neighbors cats often when they were away. I would make sure their litter boxes stayed clean, they were well fed with each specific meal plan, and they got adequate time outside without wandering off. I’m also experienced in administering oral medication and giving baths.
“Danny stopped by to check in on our two cats while we were away and did a great job. She was communicative (sent texts and pictures/videos), trustworthy, and made sure to check on other things like the litter box, their water fountain, and automatic feeder. She was respectful of one of our shy cats and gave our more social kitty some needed play time! We highly recommend Danny for any of your pet sitting needs.”

About: Throughout my younger years at home beginning in middle school, I have been the neighborhoods pet sitter. Whether it was dog walking, cat sitting, and even duck sitting, I was always happy to help. Growing up I always had a special place in my heart for animals. I had everything ranging from a tortoise to a pet rabbit and of course a dog. Growing up in Santa Cruz, I have always enjoyed having an active lifestyle and love getting outside with both high-energy dogs and senior pets who need a slower pace. As someone who played multiple sports all throughout High School, I have become especially good at my time management skill's especially when others are relying on me. As a second-year Agriculture Business student at Cal Poly, I am a dependable, organized, and committed person who takes jobs seriously. You can expect clear communication, updates with both texts and photos, and someone who will give your pet not just the exercise, but also all the love and attention they need to keep them happy and safe. With a shorter Summer this year, I have a ton of free time and am open to dog walking, house sitting, or if needed just drop-in visits. I am available on pretty much all weekdays as well as all day on weekends. Anytime you need a helping hand you can count on me to be there. During walks your pets safety and comfort is my top priority. I always stay aware of my surroundings especially if your dog is more sensitive to others I will make sure to cross the street or do what’s needed to keep your dog in the best hands possible. I also adjust my pacing based on your dogs energy and comfort levels. I am also comfortable handling big or strong dogs keeping them securely leashed unless instructed otherwise. For drop-in visits or house sitting I always follow instructions carefully making sure to go over anything with you I am not 100% sure about before I begin, in order to maintain your pets routine and minimize stress on your pet. I also respect your home and property as if it were my own and will provide consistent updates and photos so you feel comfortable and confident in your pets safety. I just got done with my Freshman year at Cal Poly and have a ton of time this Summer for dog walking and/ or dog sitting. I take my dog on daily beach walks and hikes as well as throw him the ball daily. I am more than willing to stay at my clients house and take care of their pets.

“Erin has stayed at our house to watch our two cats three times over the past couple months and has been great! She sends frequent updates with photos and the cats seem to love her. We will absolutely ask her to house sit for us again next time we travel!”

“WoW !! Really impressed with Genevieve, she is supremely attentive, competent, & caring for my feline critters! I have 4 inside cats including a rambunctious kitten and that's a lot of work for anyone! Genevieve exceeded my expectations in many ways but mostly because of her immediate response and often texted me first about what was going on at home - I'm a nervous cat-mom as when I'm away from home I need reassurance that all is well and calm with the older cats and that the kitten hasn't destroyed the place or gotten trapped inside a drawer. I will definitely use Genevieve again and again !!”

“Jazzlynne is the reason we are able to get away without a moment of concern about how our kitties are doing. She gives meds to one cat who would not be able to skip doses. We are grateful for her kindness and reliability. She is the greatest!”

About: I’ve been a foster parent to tons of cats and kept doing it after I moved away from home. My current cycle is through the Cal Poly Cat Program who I frequently foster with. I don’t observe most major travel holidays so I’ll be in the coast for Christmas, Easter, Thanksgiving, and all the academic breaks, and I hope to give some affordable travel care. I adore cats and am so patient especially since most of my fosters come from abuse. I have fostered aggressive cats, diabetic cats, kittens, aging cats, and especially shy ones. I’ll make sure your kitty feels comfortable and loved.

“Makaela was great! Communicative throughout the booking process and took great care of my cat. Would recommend her to anyone else, and I look forward to booking with her again!”

“Helona is AWESOME!!! We had a wonderful experience with her, and our dogs absolutely LOVED her! She is so friendly and detailed (took awesome notes to keep our pets straight), and really put us at ease when we were traveling and leaving our boys behind. I absolutely recommend Helona for any of your pet needs - she has been wonderful!!”

“Cannot say enough good things about Mindy and her thoughtful, responsible and gracious care for our beloved cat and our home. Travel anxiety is a thing of the past since we found her. Five stars is Rover’s max, but ten stars is more like it!!”

“Loren was fantastic! She house sat our two cats (one kitten) for a weekend. Loren took great care in the details, connected well with our cats, sent us lots of pictures, and left our house in perfect condition. I cannot recommend her enough!”

“Kara was outstanding and accepted my last minute request for day care. My pup seemed to really enjoy her time there! She must have been playing all day because she was completely wiped when we got home, that’s how I know she had a good time though!”

“Oli always has the best time with Katie! They go out on adventures to the park and to the beach, 2 to 3 walks a day, and they also snuggle on the couch. At the end of the day we have a happy and relaxed dog, as well as lots of pictures and a summary of all the fun they had. We couldn’t be more pleased with the care our Oli receives from Katie!”

“Cara was wonderful and a great doggie day sitter for Milo, taking him on walks with her dog and keeping him company so he didn’t get anxious. She kept us informed of how he was doing and was flexible about the pick up time. Would definitely recommend her!”

“Andrew took excellent care of my two dogs, Katie and Maddie. He is quick to respond to all messages and that gave me great peace of mind. The dogs were happy, well cared for, and clearly received plenty of attention. I would absolutely book with Andrew again and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a dependable and caring dog sitter.”

“Josie was great! My dog immediately felt comfortable when I dropped him off. She gave updates throughout the day and was always quick to respond. I highly recommend her and would come back again.”

“Joan was great and very patient with Leilani, who is nervous around new people and other pets. We appreciated her care and understanding in assisting Leilani to feel comfortable in a new environment. Would highly recommend Joan to others.”

“Rachel replied immediately. She was welcoming. We had a meet & greet with her and Gus, and Levi and I were very impressed :) Her dog Gus is just a cutie pie and loves to play, so he kept my little guy very busy. Levi came home happy and tired! Yes! I hope we can plan another petsitting date soon. Thank you for everything Rachel. I loved the photos you sent me - especially the one with your little girl and Levi.”

“Marla was a wonderful sitter for my doggy. She has a great home with a big yard. She was very communicative all day and sent pictures to help me see how she was doing. My dog is used to only being in her own home, so it was nice to see she could do okay in other surroundings. Marla has a kind and gentle spirit and offers a loving environment for your pet!”

About: Your dog is as much an individual as you are and we are here to help your puppies to have exactly the experience that they need. I am a life long dog lover and have had many dogs over the years (work travel prevents me from ownership right now). Over the years my household (me, adult son, grand daughter (6)) have adopted or fostered a wide variety of dogs from a puppy to be trained and moved on to forever home to senior dogs who ultimately ended up with their forever home right here. I am excellent at giving medication (was a LPN for humans), long walks that I enjoy as much as the dog, and am open to any dog related service your dog may need. I will always treat your dog like the wonderful individual they are. I am open to any size dog and ANY breed (I have great relationships with pit bulls, Chihuahua's, and other high difficulty breads) All dogs must have flee control and be up on vaccinations (and licensed). I was reading the Rover information for customers and it said you should ask about how much cuddle time, playtime, and walks cost. Your pet will get all the cuddles, walks, and playtime they can stand for free. I do this because everybody in my house loves dogs and want to make new furry friends. Feel free to contact me with any questions I am a work from home writer, artist, photographer, and journalist, so I have lots of open time. I do travel for work in the summer months which does leave some days completely unavailable, but otherwise ready to walk from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. There is no other way to say it, I love dogs and will treat your dog with more respect than most humans receive. The walks will be well planned and any care will be exactly what you requested.
About: I have a 3 year old Bernese Mountain dog that I have raised from a puppy. Ready to share my love and care with more dogs and pups when their parents need a hand! I’m working from home right now, and I am looking forward to helping your pup during the workday, or when there are trips that your pup can’t come on! I will take good care of your pup’s needs, and look out for safety in your home and out and about! Please let me know of any special needs
“Miki was AMAZING with my adult dog Moose. She was welcoming and friendly and communicated extremely well. She sent us updates throughout the day and was very responsive. She walked my dog and took care of him like he was her own pet! She made him comfortable and he isn’t easy to trust right away but with Miki and her family Moose seemed to feel right at home. We booked her for day care 2 days, back to back, and Moose seemed excited to go back! I hope she’s available next time we need a sitter because she will be the first person that comes to mind. Thank you Miki! We appreciate you so much 😄”

“Natalie did a great job with our two little dogs. Her little girl seemed so excited to have them as quests. I was worry our one dog that gets separation anxiety would be a wreck when we got back, but to our surprise she seemed happy and fine. Our other dog who is very friendly was all smiles when he came back. She will do a great job with your pups.”

About: 7 years of hands-on daily dog care with my own dog, plus regular pet sitting for neighbors and friends: feedings, walks, playtime, and overnight stays. Between classes, I’ve got a flexible schedule that works great for walks and drop-ins throughout the day. I know how much routine matters to dogs, so I keep things consistent and send you photo/video updates every visit. Hi there! I’m Addyson a college student and dog mom of 7 years. Along the way I’ve become the go-to sitter for my neighbors and friends, covering everything from quick walks to full weeks of vacation coverage. Being a student keeps me flexible and full of energy, and honestly, dogs are my favorite study break. I light up around them and I treat every dog I watch like my own. I split my time between Frisco, TX and Orange County, CA, so I’m able to offer care in both spots. Whichever coast your pup is on, expect photo updates, a consistent routine, and a whole lot of love. Can’t wait to meet your dog — let’s set up a Meet & Greet! 🐶 When I’m caring for your pet in your home, your space and your pet’s safety are my top priorities. I stick to your exact routine, feeding times, walks, favorite toys, all of it, so your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. I always double-check gates, doors, and locks before letting your dog out and make sure your home is just as secure when I leave as it was when I arrived. I keep things low-key and private while I’m there, no visitors, no broadcasting that your house is empty, and I send photo and video updates throughout every visit so you always know how things are going. If anything ever comes up, I make sure I have your vet’s info on hand and respond quickly. Whether I’m in Frisco or Orange County, you get the same level of care and attention in every home I step into.
“Adrienne took wonderful care of my pup Gage! She is clearly a dog lover. The feeling is mutual, Gage is always excited to see her. My dog can be stubborn on walks but Adrienne had no trouble handling him. She clearly has experience with larger dogs and is very responsive and responsible. Highly recommend.”

“Paolo loves when Clare comes to help us out with walks! He gets so excited when he sees her walking up the driveway and can't wait to spend time with her! She is very knoweldgeable about dogs and quick to respond.”

“We need and appreciate the help with this energetic young dog. Waldo tries to leave with Zara after the walk is over even though his tongue is hanging out… He really loves her.”

About: I grew up on a small farm with dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and goats, so I've got a lifetime of experience with all kinds of furry friends. Professionally, I've worked at a couple different dog boarding/daycare/training places before switching to a job that was more fitting to what I went to school for. I’m comfortable with various types of pets in terms of breed, age, temperament, and lifestyle (up-keeping training, giving meds, disabilities, etc). I'm currently working full time but am free most mornings in the week for walks or playtime. I'm free most weekends for overnight pet sitting and am open to extended at homesitting as well. Despite working most of the week, I'm pretty flexible and open to working around different schedules in order to meet the needs of your pets as well as meet the needs of the owner. I'm down to run, play, walk, clean, cuddle, groom, escort, chauffeur or even just chill with your animals, whatever they need. :) If I'm staying in their home, my goals is to maintain their routine, whether that's specific feeding/medication times or upkeeping current training commands. I've taken care of dogs of almost all ages and activity levels so I can adapt to most needs that your pup may have.
About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with personal experience caring for both dogs and cats. My dog, Malibu, was part of my family for 16 years. She lived with my parents for the first nine years of her life, and I cared for her personally during her final seven years. She even became a world traveler with her own pet passport. Caring for Malibu through her senior years taught me patience, consistency, and how important it is to adjust care as a pet’s needs change. For the past two years, I have also helped care for a cat named Sami. That experience has taught me how to build trust with cats, respect their boundaries, and pay close attention to their routines and behavior. I’m dependable, organized, patient, and respectful of other people’s homes. I carefully follow feeding schedules, walking routines, litter-box instructions, and any special requests. I also provide regular updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident that their pets are safe, comfortable, and receiving plenty of attention while they are away. I work remotely Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., which allows me to be home with your pet throughout the day. I can provide regular potty breaks, walks, meals, playtime, companionship, and supervision while still maintaining their normal routine. Because I’m home during the workday, your pet will not be left alone for long periods. I’m also available for overnight care, evenings, and weekends, depending on my schedule. I live in a quiet neighborhood with several safe and enjoyable walking routes nearby. My two-bedroom apartment provides a calm, comfortable environment, and I have a fenced back patio that is perfect for supervised sunbathing, fresh air, and naps. My home also has air conditioning to keep pets comfortable during warmer weather, and there are multiple parks less than five minutes away for walks and outdoor time. I carefully follow each pet parent’s instructions, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medication directions, household rules, and any special care needs. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or theirs, I prioritize safety, consistency, cleanliness, and regular communication. I also provide updates and photos so pet parents can feel confident that their pet is comfortable and well cared for.

I am currently working from home, so my schedule is flexible to pop in for a walk or house-sit! When housesitting, I will be around all day to ensure that your pet’s needs are taken care of. While I am no replacement for their parents, I treat everyone’s pets as if they’re my own! This means lots of interaction, enrichment activities, and playtime. “Forest has great communication, was easy to book with, and followed all my instructions for walking our small dog Jasmine! Will be booking again in the future and would recommend Forest to a friend. :)”

About: I have worked with neighbors pets since I was in high school, haves pets of my own since I was born and am currently a hospice volunteer. My schedule is very open as I am a fourth year student at cal poly that doesn’t have many classes left to take. I also wake up usually pretty early if needed to feed pets early in morning. I like to make sure that in my house the environment is set up especially for a puppy for instance that it can’t go out running in the street and using positive reinforcement to help train the puppy to make the experience safer while walking the dog.

I find spending time with dogs to be the most fulfilling activity! I am interning in Denver for the summer and would love to spend my weekends taking care of your pets! I can also help out on weekday afternoons. I am able to care for pets in the client’s home and/or take pets on walks outside and around the neighborhood. Unfortunately, my lease doesn’t allow pets.

About: I have two dogs at home and have had a lot of experience dog and cat starting in elementary school and every year since then! I’m a college student so my schedule is a bit all over the place. Besides classes Monday-Thursday I have no specific commitments so plenty of time to hang out with your pets! I cannot take care of animals in my own place but I’m excited to take care of dogs and cats where they’re used to — their own home :)
“Payton is really dependable and showed up on time. She sent me updates throughout the day. She made sure my dog was safe and taken care of! I will definitely be using her again and highly recommend her.”

“Mellow, relaxed, thoughtful, attentive, caring I think my cat would rather adopt Cara as her owner than me, If she had the choice!! Good thing she doesn't, The little squirt 🤣 If my cat can't take another day of my shenanigans, I know exactly where to take her for peace of mind!”

“Marin was so wonderful with Atlas! He fit in so well at her house and it was such a comfort and relief to know he was so well cared for while I was out of town. Would not hesitate to book with her again!!”
