About: I've worked with many kinds of dogs, big and small, as I have my own lovely pup and volunteer with dogs at the shelter frequently. I am currently in school at Cal Poly, but am the most available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. On the weekends, I am available both days in Lompoc. At home, my dog gets 30-65 minute long walks depending on what he feels like and weather. I try to provide the dogs at the shelter with the same thing.

About: I would always help my sister take care of dogs when she was animal sitting on rover. I currently am babysitting and working for Respite so I have experience in childcare. I love animals and would love to make some extra money as a college student. I am currently attending Cuesta College twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Im free after 3 o’clock when my classes are over. Every other day of the week I am free all day. I want to make sure your pets feel comfortable and welcome in my home. Im very clean, and if sitting at your house I will be respectful of the space.

About: I have a very diverse background in pet care. I grew up with a German Shorthaired Pointer and currently have a Blue Heeler, but my parents also have a French Bulldog so I deeply understand both the needs of high energy dogs and lower energy dogs. I have fostered dogs and cats since I was 12 years old, whose needs varied frequently, I have experience with small day old puppies, to older senior dogs. I have valuable experience in training and socializing dogs, I have put my own dog through training with multiple trainers that I have gotten to learn from, and use that knowledge to then train and socialize my foster puppies. I am currently a full time Animal Science student at Cal Poly, with most of my classes being in the mornings, making my schedule free on the weekends, Fridays before 11:30am and/or after 2pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays after 2pm, and varying availability Mondays and Wednesdays. I already go on multiple walks throughout the day and on the weekends I love to hike and go to the beach, all of which I would love to be able to take a pup on as well! I am able to work with pets in any fashion that fits the pet owners needs. I understand every pet differs, so I can take into account any special instructions and thoroughly follow them to keep your pet and home safe.

About: Growing up with horses, I developed my passion for animals at a young age. I ran a petsitting business for 7 years in Charlotte, NC and am aiming to get started again here on the Central Coast! Experience includes house sitting, livestock care, dog walking, and drop-in care. I do currently work full-time 12 hour shifts Monday through Thursday. I am available in the evenings from 5 to 10 still. Fridays through Sunday are fully available. For seven years, I provided house sitting for many repeat customers that travelled often and for extended periods for work. I have also worked on various horse farms. My breadth of experience allowed me to be flexible with any accommodations you may have. I do have a my dog, Coco, that likes to join along but this is not a requirement.

I’ve also owned multiple dogs and have dog set multiple times for acquaintances. Along with my personal experience, studying Animal Science has given me a stronger foundation in animal health, behavior, handling, and proper care. I'm extremely comfortable with feeding, walking, following medication instructions, maintaining routines, and giving pets plenty of attention while their owners are away. I know that every pet is different, so I make an effort to learn their individual routines and personalities rather than treating every animal the same. I pay close attention to changes in behavior and well-being, and I'm very detail-oriented when following owner instructions to ensure you know your pet is in great hands while you're away. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. As a college student, my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week to fit pet care into my daily routine. I also make sure doors, gates, leashes, and other areas are secure before letting pets outside or leaving the home.
