“What a great dog sitter Joshuah was. It's so hard to leave and feel comfortable with my time away but Joshuah was perfect. He responded promptly every time I sent a message I appreciated that! I felt very comfortable with him here in my house for 5 nights...pictures daily”

“My 2 dogs and cat loved Mindy! We were away for a week and a half and Mindy took such good care of our furry family and home. We came home to a spotless house and our pets were happy and calm - a big difference from other pet sitter experiences. One of our dogs liked her so much that he kept looking to see if Mindy was still here after we got home! One of the pieces that really worked for our family is that Mindy works mostly remotely and so she was home with the animals most of the time and that helped them to feel safe and bonded with her. She watered plants, helped to communicate about roof construction that had to happen while we were gone, and alerted us to problems that came up. She was very professional all around. We feel so fortunate to have had Mindy here while we were gone. It was so lovely to be able to actually enjoy our time away without worry! Thank you, Mindy!”

About: Been around dogs my whole life! Have had my own golden a little over a year ago now so am well versed with puppy behavior and training. I love to stay active and used to bring my dog on hikes, play tug of war and go on long walks so if that sounds like something your dog would love the I’m your girl! Currently have full availability on weekends and after 6 PM on weekdays. Love to stay active and do lots of fun enrichment activities but also love a long mellow walk! I live in an area with a common area but am also really close to lots of great walks and hikes to walk and or go play some fetch!
“Gabi did a wonderful job house sitting Ola. I appreciate how communicative she was and how well taken care of Ola was. She provided peace of mind, and most importantly, I can tell she is really good with dogs. She also helped out with our cockatiel.”

“Josie was awesome! She stayed at our place over a long holiday weekend and took great care of our dogs. She kept in touch the whole time, sent cute pictures, and let us know when one of our pups wasn’t feeling well. We really appreciated the updates. Came home to a clean house and two happy dogs—couldn’t ask for more. Will definitely book with Josie again!”

About: I love hanging out with dogs while their parents parents are away! I am a big hiker, so on the weekends I love taking the dogs out for a hike/long walks and even the beach if allowed! I currently work 8-5 with occasional early entry at 6am. Weekends I am free, and evenings I am free. I am typically active early in the morning, able to feed and walk in the mornings and afternoons. I typically like to pet sit at the owners home to make the time away from the pets parents as seamless as possible! I am incredible respectful of other peoples homes and incredibly clean and tidy.
“Hannah was great! Super responsive from the get go, kept me updated throughout each day I was gone, and left my house exactly as I left it. Loved the daily photos so I could see my pup having a blast. Thanks, Hannah!”

“Emily is the best!! She took such good care of our dog Pablo while we were away for the night. He’s a large, high energy dog with separation anxiety, so we were a little nervous leaving him overnight, but he did great with her. She kept us updated with photos and made sure he got enough exercise and attention to stay happy/settled. She also left a thoughtful note afterward on how he did which we really appreciated. Overall we felt super comfortable having her watch him and would definitely book her again.”

About: I have over 4 years of dog care and dogsitting experience with all different ages and breeds. Additionally, I have my own 4y/o chocolate lab that I have had since he was a puppy! I also love cats and have one of my own! I am currently a student at Cal Poly, but I have a great balance between work and school. That being said, I am available Monday-Friday after 5pm, as well as all day on Saturday and Sunday! I am happy to do overnight stays as well! I currently cannot bring dogs into my own house, but I am more than happy to stay at your home and accommodate to any of your pets needs. Additionally, I have my own car for reliable transport and love to go on long walks or to the dog park!
“Riley is wonderful! She is experienced, knowledgeable, conscientious and has a kind, patient manner. Riley stayed with my big, senior Alaskan Malamute for 6 days/nights in my home while I was out of town and did a fantastic job with both pet sitting and house sitting. Riley was very communicative before her stay to make sure she was familiar with food/medicine schedules and all other routines. While I was away, Riley texted and sent pictures daily and it was very clear that my Malamute was totally happy, comfortable, and content. I arrived home to a calm, relaxed dog who I’m sure is hoping that Riley returns soon!”

About: I have watched multiple ages of dogs! Some middle aged, all the way to 5 months! I love going on walks and will be happy to have a furry friend to join me. I have helped clean up after them, feeding, grooming, and just hanging out with them! I am a college student but have complete access to a car! I can stay overnight, I can get up early, stay late or even pop in to the house to make sure they get lunch! I will meet their expectations. I couldn't just go over to a clients house and just feed a dog. I would feed them, play with them, etc.
“Kiana was awesome! She is clearly not just a dog liker, she is a dog LOVER. She gave great updates and communicated often, and we came home to a tidy house and a happy dog.”
“What a lovely sitter! My dog had an absolute blast, and I trust Lizzy to give her the best care possible. Hikes, snuggles, and more! Lizzy sent lots of pics and was very flexible with my weird work schedule. Thanks again!”

I will care for your pets no matter the environment! I can adjust to whatever your pets needs may be and will be diligent to ensure your animal has the best care possible.
“Erin is a doll. She was very good with my puppy ... understands that you don't reward a dog misbehaving by showing affection. He wanted to be picked up and she waited until he calmed down. Young, but wise beyond her years. She's smart, reasonable and very polite. GR8 FIND!”

I’m the shelter manager for Cal Poly’s cat shelter, a vet assistant at a local emergency vet, and have taken care of all types of animals from large dogs to bottle fed kittens. I can care for your pets in your own home as I have my own cats that don’t like new friends. I’m able to stay overnight or just check in on them a few times during the day whichever you and your pet would prefer.

Chorro pet parents share their Rover experiences
Ela did a great job pet sitting our cats and senior dog. She followed all the critter instructions and was very communicative, especially when our old guy was having problems while she was here. She sent lots of photos, too! We will definitely use her services again in the future.

Karah is amazing! We have a full of anxiety large dog and she handled him with love and care. She took him on exciting beach adventures and cooked up his special needs food. The house was spotless. She sent videos and pictures. We look forward to Karah's help again.

Joshua has helped us with our two French bulldogs several times, both drop in visits and house sitting. He just finished a week and half house sitting and he has always been great. One of our dogs has eye drops needed several times a day and he always takes care of her.

Ysabel was fantastic with our frenchie pups! She was able to spend quality time with them, flexible with timing of when we were leaving and coming back into town. She was comfortable medicating both our pups one from an injury as well as administering eye drops to our other pup. Trustworthy and reliable! We will be booking her again in the future! Highly recommend her to help with your pups 😊

We had to find someone at the last minute when we went our of town suddenly for a family event. Jane responded to us within hours and we arranged a time to meet. She was a first-time sitter for us and the time and transportation push meant we didn't have the time to talk with her and orient her to our three pets and home as we usually do. Despite this, she did a great job. The animals liked her, even to sleeping with her from the first night and eating heartily from the beginning, (which they don't always do when we're away.) She also dealt well with an unexpected red ant invasion in the kitchen (!) and administered our dog's medication on time and correctly. Sent lots of photos and updates, too. She's a Cal Poly student and has classes some days, but wasn't gone from our home more than a few hours on only two dates, which we discussed and okayed in advance. We'd definitely call her again.
Incredible young lady! My Lemmy immediately took to her, and she made our vacation out of town much easier knowing our dogson was in great hands and having fun. Eleni was prompt, responsive, and very thoughtful! Her communication skills left us feeling confident in leaving our nervous boy, with his medications and his very picky habits, in safe hands. Lemmy and I look forward to booking with Eleni again!
