I don't offer boarding services because my current living situation doesn't allow pets! When I come to you, I also am committing to caring for your home and keeping it tidy/running while you're away.
Information Emily B. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog is on the anxious side, and what behaviors are tied to that! I want to work with you to make sure they feel safe and are getting the attention and patience they deserve!
A typical day
Does your dog love car rides and walking around downtown SLO? Do they love getting out on hikes or going out to the beach? I love getting out of the house with your dog, depending on what their preference is! Otherwise they can expect lots of playing on the floor or throwing the ball in your backyard!

Pet care experience
I'm a long time pet owner, and have always lived with dogs up until leaving for college! But during my first year, my family dog/soulmate passed away and there's been a pup-shaped hole in my heart ever since. Let me give your dog all the attention, and love on them the way I would for my own! I have experience giving oral medications, and am a master at giving dogs a "perfectly normal" spoonful of peanut butter. I also have worked with lots of anxious pups, let me give yours the patience and compassion they deserve while you're away! Please also let me know beforehand, so that we can work together to make their experience as comfortable as possible!

Reviews

Emily was absolutely phenomenal! She took such great care of our dog, Bella, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Bella was so happy, well loved, and it was clear Emily treated her like one of her own. She also kept our house incredibly clean, which was such a thoughtful bonus to come home to. Emily was more than just a pet sitter—she was a wonderful companion and friend for Bella. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would recommend her without hesitation. Thank you, Emily!

Emily was the sweetest person. Our dogs just loved her and were so excited to see her. She stayed at our vacation home two days so we could go explore and the dogs were well loved and kept company. We would definitely call on her again!

Emily was FANTASTIC with our corgis! Although my husband and I were away for awhile, we could tell that the dogs were so happy and well taken care of. One of them can be spicy and she did a great job handling his “strong opinions”. We appreciated her communicating with us throughout our trip and sharing pictures/updates. She left the house very clean and we highly recommend her. In fact, we are already going try to book her for our next trip later this year!

Riley adored Emily! We greatly appreciated how she connected with Riley and took him on great sniffy walks! Highly recommend!!
