“Emily was great! She watched our dog George while we were at a baseball game for a few hours. George had a great time! She was very punctual and great communication the whole time. Sent some good pics :). Will definitely use her again!”

“JOSH was great to work with. He was very prompt and also very flexible if a time needed to change on occasion. He and my dog, Shiloh, seem to bond quite well over the weeks that I needed JOSH‘s walking services. I highly recommend JOSH for taking care of your pet, without reservation.”

“Ben was amazing with my two energetic Frenchies! He walked our boys every weekday for about a month so they could get their exercise when I wasn't able to get them out. He was very caring with the dogs, patient (haha), thoughtful, trustworthy, reliable, communicative with me, and flexible with our schedule requests. And my boys loved going out with him. They always came back good and tired! :D We will definitely have him back for more walking and potential sitting soon. Thanks again, Ben!”

I’m able to stay overnight or just check in on them a few times during the day whichever you and your pet would prefer.

About: *If this is your first time booking a sitter on Rover, use code BELLAC07359 for $20 off! Hello! My name is Bella and I am a current Cal Poly student studying environmental science and pre-law. I absolutely love animals of all kinds and will be a great help with your pet care! I am no stranger to the extra care that elderly or baby animals need. I spent my childhood growing up near a farm taking care of animals of all sizes. While I took care of livestock, I also cared for the four dogs and three cats that lived in the house. Because of this, I am able to care for any pet, big or small, timid or energetic. I am currently a student at Cal Poly, therefore I am able to care for your animals before 11 a.m. or after 4 p.m. on weekdays. I am free on weekends all day. I have no problem waking up as early as needed or staying the night to pet sit. I am excellent at following directions and will take any schedules given to me seriously. I have the upmost respect for other people’s homes and pets.

I also work for a doggie day care and as the foster coordinator for the Cal Poly Cat Program. I would love to help look after your pets! I am a student who is currently on summer vacation so I have lots of time and would love to help look after your pets! I live in an apartment with one roommate and a cat. About: I have been watching both dogs and cats for many years. I have been asked to dog and cat sit since I was 12 and have accumulated all kinds of dogs over the years. I am capable of handling and walking large dogs, as I am 5'11 and 16o lbs. My own family's dogs are not the best walkers, but we still get it done. I also have experience with lots of cats and would definitely consider myself a cat-lover. I have sat many cats including my neighbors' , grandmothers', friends', and other family. I love getting to know new cats and getting them to trust me. I am a local college student, meaning I have an irregular daily schedule, which to your surprise is a great advantage with my ability to care for your pet. I am more than willing to spend early mornings and late nights when needed, and can even stop throughout the day. Our dogs at home walked down the driveway into a fenced off yard where they play and use the restroom, so I am capable of taking the extra steps for your dogs. As for our cats, both are indoor-outdoor and are fed inside; one friendly, and one independent. I love all kinds of cats and will do my best to make them comfortable.

About: I am the biggest animal lover ever!!! I have owned dogs and cats since I was a baby. My family owns a farm at home, so I have experience with all animals. I have worked with dogs, cats, you name it! I have experience with training puppies, as well as handling larger animals. I would love to meet your furry (or maybe not so furry you never know) friend!!! I’m currently only working part-time over the summer so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I’m currently also taking a very light course load at Cal poly and no classes over the Summer, so I’ll never have to “squeeze in” your pet. I am very aware of my surroundings and understand when an animal is being put in an unsafe environment from my time working on my farm and farms at home. I know when an animal shouldn’t interact with another, when to keep an animal away from another, when to crate, and when to release the animal from a leash.
About: I am currently a student at Cal Poly SLO studying microbiology, which has taught me so much about animals and common problems they deal with! I have studied and am quite familiar with common parasites and diseases such as fleas, tapeworm, giardia, calicivirus, panleukopenia, etc. I am also currently a staff member at the Cal Poly Cat Program as a Volunteer Coordinator, and thus have extensive experience with basic animal care as well as medical care for animals. I also have experience managing care for multiple animals at a time in the shelter environment and continue to do so virtually. I absolutely adore animals and want to provide the best care I can for your pet, regardless of their past or circumstances! I’m currently a student at Cal Poly who is taking the quarter off to take some time to myself! I still have a few weeks until the next quarter starts and have a very flexible schedule to help care for you and your pets! For dogs I absolutely adore taking them to the local parks here in San Luis Obsipo to get them all the outside time they need, while for cats I enjoy spending time with them in the place they’re most comfortable in, giving them a churu treat! For both cats and dogs I promise to send you lots of pictures and updates of your pet during the time I spend with them!
About: I am a reliable and responsible individual. I have been around pets my whole life, big and small. I know how much these friends mean to you, they are in good hands! I am super available! I can walk any day of the week. I just finished up my last quarter at Cal Poly so I am looking to stay active and busy until graduation! I am not able to accommodate pets at my apartment, but of course I can travel to homes and be there under the pets own conditions. I will always make sure the pets are safe and comfortable. I will follow any directions given.
