“This was the perfect environment and care for my very very social and energetic dog. At one point.my dog was experiencing some anxiety, so upon request, they remedied this with mixing some.pumpkin with her food. This was tjsn the perfect balance for her moving through the rest of her visit. This is my first booking using Rover since other dog boarding facilities were becoming to hard on her nervous system. I am bery happy I did! If I am ever in need of care again in this location I wouldnt hesitate to use these sweet humans! The children in the home also really added to Calis visit, bringing mutual joy during the entire stay. Thanks Tara and Jed, and family!”

I also have experience working with disabled and medical needs cats. Pet sitting experience for about 5 years on and off.

About: While I'm newer to caring for cats, I've cat sat for a friend's friendly, energetic cat on multiple occasions over the past year, both at my home and theirs. I enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for.

About: Cats have been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember! I’ve cared for my two cats at home in Minnesota for many years, handling everything from feeding and litter box cleaning to playtime, cuddles, and keeping them happy and comfortable. Last year, I also fostered two cats, helping them settle into a new environment and feel safe while they waited for their next home. I love getting to know each cat’s unique personality and making sure they feel relaxed, cared for, and loved while their owners are away.

About: I've had cats my entire life and have cared for many others through pet sitting over the years. From playful kittens to senior cats, I understand that every cat has a unique personality and routine. I also have experience house sitting and have volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind and local animal shelters, giving me confidence caring for animals of all temperaments. You can count on me to care for both your cat and your home as if they were my own.

About: I grew up on a small farm surrounded by animals, and cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Between my own pets and my professional experience working in animal care, I’m comfortable caring for cats of different ages, personalities, routines, and needs. I know cats can be particular about their people, their space, and how they like to interact, so I’m happy to meet them where they’re at. Whether your cat wants plenty of playtime and attention, prefers a quiet companion nearby, or would rather observe me suspiciously from across the room for a while, that’s okay with me! I’m comfortable keeping up with established routines, feeding schedules, litter box care, medications, and other individual needs. Most importantly, I want your cat to feel comfortable and secure in their own space while you’re away, and for you to know they’re being cared for by someone with plenty of animal experience.

I can stay overnight, I can get up early, stay late or even pop in to the house to make sure they get lunch! I will meet their expectations. I couldn't just go over to a clients house and just feed a dog. I would feed them, play with them, etc.
About: *If this is your first time booking a sitter on Rover, use code BELLAC07359 for $20 off! Hello! My name is Bella and I am a current Cal Poly student studying environmental science and pre-law. I absolutely love animals of all kinds and will be a great help with your pet care! I am no stranger to the extra care that elderly or baby animals need. I spent my childhood growing up near a farm taking care of animals of all sizes. While I took care of livestock, I also cared for the four dogs and three cats that lived in the house. Because of this, I am able to care for any pet, big or small, timid or energetic. I am currently a student at Cal Poly, therefore I am able to care for your animals before 11 a.m. or after 4 p.m. on weekdays. I am free on weekends all day. I have no problem waking up as early as needed or staying the night to pet sit. I am excellent at following directions and will take any schedules given to me seriously. I have the upmost respect for other people’s homes and pets.
About: Growing up I have always had a dog and love being surrounded by pets! Coming home to my dog Finley is one of the best parts of my day, so I know how special pets are and the amount of care they need. Finley can attest to the fact that I love to take her on adventures outdoors whether it's on hikes, walks, going to the beach, or car rides to fun places. I love all dogs big or small, old and young, and have pet sit for many neighbors and friends! I know how special dogs are and want to make sure they get the care and attention they deserve!! I have also taken 2 different classes, Large Animal Science and Small Animal Pre Veterinary Science where I have gained more experience and knowledge in caring for smaller animals like cats and dogs up to larger animals such as horses. I am currently working a serving job so I am available often for overnight petsitting and can schedule walks or check ins on the pups around the times that my shifts are! During these I will spend lots of time with your pets and give them the attention they need and deserve!! I don't offer pet care in my home, but in yours I am prepared to do whatever it is that your pet needs! I will feed them and give them water, if they sleep in a crate I can put them in there at night, and make sure they have potty breaks, along with anything else required! In my house, my dog sleeps in the same room as us and wakes up early to go potty. I know a lot of pets have certain times they use the restroom or eat and I am prepared to be on their schedule!

“Douglas was great with my two dogs! Highly recommend him if you need a sitter and peace of mind. He was great at giving updates and sending pics. You can tell he loves dogs and my dogs had a great time at his home. We will definitely use Douglas again. Thank you!”

About: I have fostered two kittens in my current apartment, as well as cared for a dog and two cats in my previous home. I love animals! I am working a part time job in Paso Robles, but shifts are usually mid morning to early evening. I work a few days out of the week, and otherwise I have free time to spend with the pet(s)! I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect that I would my own. I always follow each pet's routine, make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, and a safe, comfortable environment while you're away. I'm dependable, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind. I work 3–4 days a week, and my evenings are usually very open, giving me plenty of flexibility and quality time to spend with your pets.
About: I am a life long dog lover and have had many dogs over the years (work travel prevents me from ownership right now). Over the years my household (me, adult son, grand daughter (6)) have adopted or fostered a wide variety of dogs from a puppy to be trained and moved on to forever home to senior dogs who ultimately ended up with their forever home right here. I am excellent at giving medication (was a LPN for humans), long walks that I enjoy as much as the dog, and am open to any dog related service your dog may need. I will always treat your dog like the wonderful individual they are. I am open to any size dog and ANY breed (I have great relationships with pit bulls, Chihuahua's, and other high difficulty breads) We will discuss your system of punishment and reward so that we are on the same page. Feel free to contact me with any questions I am a work from home writer, artist, photographer, and journalist, so I have lots of open time. I do travel for work in the summer months which does leave some days completely unavailable, but otherwise ready to walk from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. There is no other way to say it, I love dogs and will treat your dog with more respect than most humans receive. The walks will be well planned and any care will be exactly what you requested.
About: I have tons of animal experience, from chickens to horses and everything in between. Many of my high school years were spent in dog and cat rescue, and I have taken multiple animal science courses in college so I am very comfortable with a wide range of medical and behavioral needs. I'm not scared of by or wary of animals that might need more time to warm up. I'm also very active and outdoorsy and am always looking to have an animal join me on my various adventures and outings if that is what they are into. I work with dogs and cats of all sizes, energy levels, and ages, and can give oral medication, injections, or do bladder expression if needed. I am currently on summer break from my college classes and working part-time remotely from home, so I have a lot of flexibility in terms of scheduling. I’m comfortable playing, feeding, giving medication, crating, or anything else your pet might need. I treat all animals with the love and respect they deserve.
“Kambry was very responsive and was able to watch for our dog Goose on short notice for the evening. Goose can be uneasy and reactive, but Kambry was able to handle everything super well with care and understanding. She is definitely an experienced sitter and I recommend her to anyone searching in the SLO area!”

“Wolfie enjoyed his stay at Kiara’ place. The entire family is really friendly and treated Wolfie as one of the family members. The house is clean and has big enough space for dogs. Def will recommend to others!”

“Marissa took great care of my senior dog overnight! Sent me updated pictures throughout the time he was there and her dogs were super sweet and got along with mine great. Would definitely recommend 🤍”

“Robyn was an excellent caretaker for my 2-year-old cat. My cat is not neutered, and many pet sitters outright refused to take him, but Robyn was both enthusiastic and gracious in accepting him. She provided frequent updates along with plenty of photos, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She was also very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. It was clear she actively engaged with my cat—providing toys, attention, and a comfortable environment. From everything she shared, I could tell he was genuinely well cared for. Robyn is the definition of a caring, compassionate, and thoughtful person. I would absolutely rely on her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and attentive pet sitter.”

About: Active and attentive family available to provide multiple levels of care for your fur baby! Our nine-year-old is interested in starting a dog walking business (with support from mom or dad), and we are also able to board a friendly dog who would be sharing space with our elderly dog or do drop-ins/ house sit when more appropriate (not the whole family!). We can provide exercise through walks, on-leash hikes, or whatever works for your dog. I’ve been around dogs most of my life and am comfortable with all ages (puppy to elderly). Our child is in a hybrid homeschool program so someone is home most days throughout the day to keep your pet company. Our child is a hybrid homeschool program so we are home 4 days a week all day and gone for an hour or two on school days for drop off and pick up. We have a fenced yard and live close to dog friendly beaches and trails. If you have a cat you need a sitter for, we are available for drop-ins or to stay at your residence because our dog has strong opinions about the feline species.
“Our dog Bentley had such a wonderful time with Shantal and her dog Kala. They went on fun hikes and walks each day which was perfect for my high energy dog. Shantal was a great communicator listening to all the details of our dog's care. I felt confident Bentley was in good hands while we were away. She sent us fun photos of their time out and about. I think Bentley had a blast! Thanks so much Shantal and Kala! We look forward to having Bentley stay with you again!”
