About: My family has our own dog Wilbur (see profile pic) who I love to take on walks and runs! I also like to play with him! One of his favorite games is tug of war. I’m a student on at Cal Poly SLO. I’m in class Monday-Thursday, with no classes on Fridays. I’m available in the morning and afternoon throughout the week. I’m willing to work with you so we can find the time that works best for both of us! I will make sure your dog is hydrated by offering water during walks. I also like to give Wilbur a treat at the end of our walks, and I’ll do the same for your dog if you like! When checking up on your dog, I will make sure they have enough food, water, and attention.

About: Hello! I'm Regan, an Animal Science student at Cal Poly SLO with a lifelong love for animals. I've grown up surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, fish, and chickens, which has given me years of hands-on experience caring for animals. This has made me comfortable with pets of all different sizes, personalities, energy levels, and needs. Along with my personal experience, studying Animal Science has given me a stronger foundation in animal health, behavior, handling, and proper care. I'm extremely comfortable with feeding, walking, following medication instructions, maintaining routines, and giving pets plenty of attention while their owners are away. I know that every pet is different, so I make an effort to learn their individual routines and personalities rather than treating every animal the same. I pay close attention to changes in behavior and well-being, and I'm very detail-oriented when following owner instructions to ensure you know your pet is in great hands while you're away. Most importantly, I genuinely love animals and understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. I'll treat your pets with the same attention, patience, and care that I give my own animals. I would love the opportunity to meet you and your pets! As a college student, my schedule gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the week to fit pet care into my daily routine. I’m able to plan walks, drop-in visits, feeding times, and overnight care around my classes, and I’m happy to work with each pet’s normal schedule as much as possible. I spend a lot of my free time around animals already, so incorporating pet care into my day comes naturally to me. I’m also very organized with my schedule and will only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet the time, attention, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, my priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I carefully follow all owner instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, exercise, and any household rules or preferences. I also make sure doors, gates, leashes, and other areas are secure before letting pets outside or leaving the home. I understand that being trusted with both someone’s pet and their home is a big responsibility. I’m respectful of each client’s space and will always leave their home just as I found it. I also pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and well-being and will communicate with owners if I notice anything unusual. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away.

About: Growing up with horses, I developed my passion for animals at a young age. I ran a petsitting business for 7 years in Charlotte, NC and am aiming to get started again here on the Central Coast! Experience includes house sitting, livestock care, dog walking, and drop-in care. I do currently work full-time 12 hour shifts Monday through Thursday. I am available in the evenings from 5 to 10 still. Fridays through Sunday are fully available. For seven years, I provided house sitting for many repeat customers that travelled often and for extended periods for work. I have also worked on various horse farms. My breadth of experience allowed me to be flexible with any accommodations you may have. I do have a my dog, Coco, that likes to join along but this is not a requirement.

About: I have a very diverse background in pet care. I grew up with a German Shorthaired Pointer and currently have a Blue Heeler, but my parents also have a French Bulldog so I deeply understand both the needs of high energy dogs and lower energy dogs. I have fostered dogs and cats since I was 12 years old, whose needs varied frequently, I have experience with small day old puppies, to older senior dogs. I have valuable experience in training and socializing dogs, I have put my own dog through training with multiple trainers that I have gotten to learn from, and use that knowledge to then train and socialize my foster puppies. I am currently a full time Animal Science student at Cal Poly, with most of my classes being in the mornings, making my schedule free on the weekends, Fridays before 11:30am and/or after 2pm, Tuesdays and Thursdays after 2pm, and varying availability Mondays and Wednesdays. I already go on multiple walks throughout the day and on the weekends I love to hike and go to the beach, all of which I would love to be able to take a pup on as well! I am able to work with pets in any fashion that fits the pet owners needs. I understand every pet differs, so I can take into account any special instructions and thoroughly follow them to keep your pet and home safe.

About: I have about 3 years of experience caring for dogs. I have owned, fostered, dog-sat, house-sat, and walked dogs. I love spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. I am responsible, patient, and always make sure pets get the care and attention they need. About: I grew up with dogs my whole life, and have always been a big dog lover of all shapes, sizes, and breeds! I frequently pet-sit for my friends and family, including exuberant young puppies, gentle older dogs, cautious reactive dogs, and anything in between. I love to play with and walk dogs at their own pace and preference, and am happy to help support and reinforce your training plans and pet rules. I have been an elementary teacher for just over a decade and am taking some time off, so my schedule is very flexible, and I would love to fill it with helping care for dogs in our community! I know it can be hard to leave pets at home for work or social events, but rest assured that with me your pet is in loving and safe hands so you can work, play, and enjoy life without worrying about your furry friend. After teaching for over a decade, I am taking some time off and would love to fill it with caring for pets to help others in my community! I have a very flexible schedule and am available to visit, walk, and care for pets on weekdays between 8 and 6. I can also be available on weekends with prior arrangement. I grew up with dogs and pet-sit often for my friends and family. I have a fenced-in yard and live in a quiet, very walkable neighborhood. About: I have two dogs at home and have had a lot of experience dog and cat starting in elementary school and every year since then! I’m a college student so my schedule is a bit all over the place. Besides classes Monday-Thursday I have no specific commitments so plenty of time to hang out with your pets! About: Hi! I’m a graduate student in Animal Behavior & Welfare working on my thesis in wildlife detection dogs from home. I’ve worked with dogs & cats for 10 years and have trained dogs for 8, including service dogs through a professional nonprofit organization. I have raised countless puppies in this time, so I can certainly help properly socialize your puppy so they can grow up to be the best version of themself. I also compete in dog sports for fun with my dogs, two working line German shepherds and one husky mix. So I’m well equipped to care for dogs that are… “a lot!” I’m on my way to becoming an Applied Animal Behaviorist and have finished all my coursework in behavior with a 4.0 GPA, so when your pets come with me, they’ll benefit from my extensive knowledge on understanding behavior and maximizing welfare. My prices might be a little higher than others, but I promise it will be worth it for the level of care & expertise I provide! I’m home full time as I finish my thesis remotely. The animals I care for come first, whether it be early morning potty breaks or afternoon activities. My schedule is flexible and I have ample time to give your pets the attention they need, while also giving them quiet time to rest in a private space. When pets stay with me, they have their own spare bedroom to sleep in. They can have a crate in there, or stay loose in the room and sleep on the bed. We have a small yard, so I opt to take dogs out 4 times a day to potty in a small park right outside my front door. We can play here too! A lot of dogs like to sunbathe in our yard, including my own. I have three dogs who all have different preferences in their dog friends, so it’s likely your dog will find a best friend here. Or, if your dog prefers not to be around other dogs, that’s no problem either. They can hang out with just me! I always use long lines and either harnesses or safely fitted collars to walk dogs, so they can have maximum freedom to express themselves while also staying safe and comfortable.

About: I have fostered two kittens in my current apartment, as well as cared for a dog and two cats in my previous home. I love animals! I am working a part time job in Paso Robles, but shifts are usually mid morning to early evening. I work a few days out of the week, and otherwise I have free time to spend with the pet(s)! I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect that I would my own. I always follow each pet's routine, make sure they have fresh food and water, plenty of attention, and a safe, comfortable environment while you're away. I'm dependable, communicative, and happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind. I work 3–4 days a week, and my evenings are usually very open, giving me plenty of flexibility and quality time to spend with your pets.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for many years and truly enjoy spending time with them. I lived with three dogs for over seven years, where I was responsible for their daily care, including feeding, walking, playtime, bath, and basic training. About: Anyone can tell you that they love animals, but not anyone can provide the proper care your pets require. My family owns 2 dogs, 3 cats, 1 guinea pig, and 7 chickens. I am very well acclimated to providing care for animals. I genuinely enjoy providing care as you get to see just how happy these pets become when they see you. It’s not a job to me, it’s fun. I recently moved away from home to SLO for college and I miss my animals. I’d love the opportunity to take care of yours. I have classes Monday through Wednesday.
