About: I've adopted many cats over the years, and have turned a feral cat into one of the sweetest indoor cats. I have had a few years experience volunteering in an animal shelter, taking care of dogs and cats. I love all dogs and cats and will care for your pets as if they're my own children. About: Hi! I’m a graduate student in Animal Behavior & Welfare working on my thesis in wildlife detection dogs from home. I’ve worked with dogs & cats for 10 years and have trained dogs for 8, including service dogs through a professional nonprofit organization. I have raised countless puppies in this time, so I can certainly help properly socialize your puppy so they can grow up to be the best version of themself. I also compete in dog sports for fun with my dogs, two working line German shepherds and one husky mix. So I’m well equipped to care for dogs that are… “a lot!” I’m on my way to becoming an Applied Animal Behaviorist and have finished all my coursework in behavior with a 4.0 GPA, so when your pets come with me, they’ll benefit from my extensive knowledge on understanding behavior and maximizing welfare. My prices might be a little higher than others, but I promise it will be worth it for the level of care & expertise I provide! I’m home full time as I finish my thesis remotely. The animals I care for come first, whether it be early morning potty breaks or afternoon activities. My schedule is flexible and I have ample time to give your pets the attention they need, while also giving them quiet time to rest in a private space. When pets stay with me, they have their own spare bedroom to sleep in. They can have a crate in there, or stay loose in the room and sleep on the bed. We have a small yard, so I opt to take dogs out 4 times a day to potty in a small park right outside my front door. We can play here too! A lot of dogs like to sunbathe in our yard, including my own. I have three dogs who all have different preferences in their dog friends, so it’s likely your dog will find a best friend here. Or, if your dog prefers not to be around other dogs, that’s no problem either. They can hang out with just me! I always use long lines and either harnesses or safely fitted collars to walk dogs, so they can have maximum freedom to express themselves while also staying safe and comfortable.

About: I have had a dog since I was 8, but I have always been surrounded by various animals. I have taken care of not only my own dog but also those belonging to my family and neighbors, gaining valuable experience in the process. I attended all of my dog's puppy training classes and learned from the trainer how to teach her numerous tricks. Additionally, I have assisted my friends in training their puppies to acquire essential skills and even taught them a few tricks, such as rolling over. Moreover, I volunteered at Animal Assisted Happiness, where I provided care for a variety of animals, including bunnies, goats, chickens, horses, and more. I currently work part-time, which allows me some flexibility to take care of your dogs. My availability includes all day Friday, Saturday, and Sunday but it may vary from week to week, but I am usually able to accommodate your needs. Taking walks is a favorite activity of mine, and I'll ensure your dog gets plenty of outdoor time and opportunities to explore with long sniffs during our walks. When working at the animal shelter I used to take dogs on walks and to the play pens where they would socialize with potential new families and other dogs. While they were in the play pens it was my job to ensure things ran smoothly and to deescalate any situations that might arise. Being able to celebrate in an animals victories and see how much they have grown & learned over time is like nothing else! About: I grew up with an English bulldog and cared for him his whole life. Growing up family always trusted me to take care of their pets as I had watched over a golden retriever and Rottweiler. I currently own two border Collie mixes and would love to take care of your friendly dog. I have trained my dogs and all my pets have been well mannered, well tempered, and well behaved. I don't consider myself a trainer but I was able to walk my English bulldog to walk off leash and various commands and my two pups are making quick strides to do the same and more. I would ideally take care of your pets over the weekend as I would be able to give my full undivided attention to them. I am open to taking care of pets during the week with the understanding that I work full time remotely and would not be able to focus in on them as much as I would on a weekend. I love to go on hikes, runs, and go to dog friendly social settings. I would love to bring your pet along for the fun. I frequently take my dogs outside to play fetch and go on walks in my community and would love to include yours. I live in a two story condo with access to a large unfenced lawn and neighboring parks two minutes away from home. My home has a fenced in patio where my dogs have access to through the night to use the restroom with access through a doggy door. During the day I take them out often in the large communal lawn and neighboring parks. I am off Southwood near sinsheimer Park. I have access to large spaces where fetch can be done both on or off leash. I typically play with my pets off leash and would love to incorporate your pet into our play sessions should they have good recall. I have multiple large doggy beds and your pup can be crated or fenced in the common areas depending on their comfort levels. Dogs are fed in the mornings at 8 and in the afternoons at 5. I take them out for routine walks in the morning and afternoon with outdoor time/ fetch midday around lunch. I also take them out for a quick potty break at night before we all hit the hay.

About: I have loved animals my whole life. I have always had a dog growing up and I got the chance to have a cat for a year, and have had 2 reptiles. Anytime I hear someone who needs help watching an animal I am first to jump in line to help. I currently work part time as a server so I am only ever away for less than 6 hours. I would absolutely love the chance to take care of your pets! I am always on top of safety. Going for walks I will always have a leash, poo bags, and treats! About: I have tons of animal experience, from chickens to horses and everything in between. Many of my high school years were spent in dog and cat rescue, and I have taken multiple animal science courses in college so I am very comfortable with a wide range of medical and behavioral needs. I'm not scared of by or wary of animals that might need more time to warm up. I'm also very active and outdoorsy and am always looking to have an animal join me on my various adventures and outings if that is what they are into. I work with dogs and cats of all sizes, energy levels, and ages, and can give oral medication, injections, or do bladder expression if needed. I am currently on summer break from my college classes and working part-time remotely from home, so I have a lot of flexibility in terms of scheduling. I’m comfortable playing, feeding, giving medication, crating, or anything else your pet might need. I treat all animals with the love and respect they deserve.

“Maria went above and beyond everyday to care for our cat while we were gone for a lengthy trip. Our cat unexpectedly needed surgery just a few days before Maria was scheduled to start taking care of her, and Maria was great making sure she was healing well while we were gone. She even took our cat to the vet for her suture removal :) Our plans for care (litter box, feeding, etc) changed a few times because of this unexpected surgery and Maria was flexible and easygoing about it all. She was extremely communicative and took tons of photos at each of her visits. Maria is amazing. We hope to hire her again in the future!”
