1. Pam S.
“Pam is amazing! She took care and time during drop off to ensure our dog Otis felt comfortable before we left. She figured out his preferences and catered to them perfectly during his stay with her. We got continued updates and cute photos along with them which put us at ease. Pam is most definitely a dog person and knows how to take great care of them. I would recommend Pam 100x over!! Thank you so much Pam!”
2. Douglas E.
“Doug took great care of my two dogs, a senior and a younger energetic one. He assured me daily that they were in good hands by sending me photos and videos. My vacation was so much more enjoyable knowing my dogs were happy and entertained.”
3. Robyn B.
“Robyn was there when we needed her in a pinch. The dogs had a blast and she was great about coordinating and letting me know how they were doing.”
4. Krysta & Tyler S.
“11 out of 10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Krysta and Tyler earned my trust from the moment I met them. They were patient and loving to my very large puppy, Henry, while I was gone on a work trip. They took him for hikes with their dog Ava, played tug of war, and sent pictures every day so I knew not to worry. Their house is clean and backyard is fully fenced with grass to run and play on, and they had no problem showing me where Henry would be sleeping, so I could ensure he’s not being locked up in a garage somewhere. They are kind and genuinely love dogs (and not in an over-zealous weird way). If you need a place to board your four legged family member while you’re gone, you can trust Krysta and Tyler to love on them while you’re gone.”
5. Gage P.
“Gage was very nice and did a great job watching Piper. If we are ever in the area and in need of his services we will definitely have him watch our dog again!”
6. Melissa E.
“Melissa is great with doggies, probably all animals. She is kind and definitely a dog person. Dogs have a way of knowing right away if the person is their “kind of dog lover”. My dog Dot ran right up to her and into her home. Dot is a nervous breed so I knew right away this is a good place to leave our little “nervous nelly”. We got pictures often and Dot was kept four days. Melissa has her own doggie, Lucy. We will definitely use Melissa again. She has a backyard for the doggies and daily walks. Wonderful sitter! Dot usually comes home mad that we left her behind, but this time she came home loved, so I think Dot is grateful we found a dog lover to leave her when we need to.”
7. jaquelyne k.
“I am a dog sitter on Rover and this is the first time I’ve used the Rover service for my own dog and I am very pleased with the care that Jaquelyne gave my dog and how well he got along with her dog and cat. She was very quick on writing back to me which I appreciated and sent me lovely pictures of my dog which made me feel at ease. She also made it very convenient by providing a drop off and pick up service. I would highly recommend her if you are looking for care for your dog.”
8. Thomas B.
“We had a last minute cancellation by a dog sitter and Rover was recommended. We selected Thomas and Lisa after having a meeting with our frenchie and their pugs and family. Our baby was so happy there, she went to the park daily, had friends to play with and was given love like we give. Pictures were sent to us daily, and we will likely have future playdates as she loved being with their family. This will definitely be our go to family for any of our pet sitting needs!!!”
9. Kaden F.
“Kaden was so good to our dog. He doesn’t just sit with the dogs he watches, but he takes them to the beach and on long runs and they have a good time. I have a difficult dog and Kaden was great with her and I felt I could relax knowing that my dog was having a good time. I recommend any day.”
10. Victoria H.
“Victoria was absolutely amazing with my golden retriever!! She even got to play with her sweet dog Pearl! She had the best time with her and would definitely recommend to anyone. ❤️”
11. Matthew K.
“I cannot thank Matt enough for caring and loving on Cora while I was out of town! He put me at ease and was very communicative (pictures and messages). She came back a tired/happy pup after her hike and lunch date with him and his girlfriend. Thank you again!!”
12. Malia J.
“We had a great experience with Malia. We were in San Luis Obispo to see a performance. We were able to easily drop our dog off with Malia before our show and he was all ready to be picked up when we were ready to head home. Malia was cordial and courteous with us. When we picked up our dog, he appeared content and happy. We hope to work Malia again when we are in town. We highly recommend Malia.”
13. Audrey W.
“Audrey would be an incredible rover… I’ve known Audrey for 15+ years and she’s always been one the most responsible, caring, communicative people I know. I’ve also witnessed her be a great parent to her own dog, making sure he is always happy and healthy. She has also watched my own dog, who has severe separation anxiety but feels comfortable around Audrey. Any pet parent would be lucky to have Audrey take care of them.”
14. Garrison P.
“Garrison took care of both of our dogs for four nights as we had to leave town. It was our first time getting a rover in this area. Garrison was welcoming and greeted our dogs like a true dog lover would. Our dogs were very content upon picking them up. I would recommend him.”
15. Sean H.
“Sean, Meaghan and Camper are wonderful! We hadn’t left our dog Mack for a while so were feeling a little nervous but Mack had the best time. They sent heaps of photo updates and gave Mack so much love! We’ve already booked Mack in to stay again for our next trip!”
16. Tami C.
“Tami is wonderful! She took excellent care of our dog. He was comfortable and had so much fun playing with her dogs. You will not worry one bit leaving your pet with her!”
17. Craig T.
“Craig is one of the best Rovers ever! He spent so much quality time playing with my dog Boone, taking him on adventures and providing the best care. I highly recommend Craig for your furry friends!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I remember. I have four happy dogs and also dog sit for neighbors and family friends. Pet sitting fits into my weekly routine by already having four. I keep them well fed, walk them 1-3 times a day depending on their energy level and clean them once a week. I care for my pets in your home or my clients home the same way I would with my own pets. I’ll leave the place cleaner than you left it and the pets happier than you left them.
19. Heather E.
“Heather is AMAZING!!! I hadn't boarded my 9-year old Pomeranian Coco for years, but was looking for someone to board him for a few days in San Luis Obispo as we were coming up from San Diego to be in SLO for my wedding. Unfortunately the wedding venue is a working ranch so could not allow dogs to stay on-site with us, they only allowed Coco to be there the day of for some photos. I went on Rover and searched for a local sitter who would take good care of Coco while we were running around doing wedding activities who also happened to be flexible enough to bring him to the venue for photos on the day of. I interviewed several sitters and Heather stood out - so easy to communicate with, super transparent about her schedule, clearly had taken care of dogs and loves dogs. I was nervous about boarding Coco in a new environment after not doing so for so long, but she put my worries at ease. During Coco's stay, Heather sent photos and updates of her with Coco walking around town and even checking out a restaurant together. It was so cute and sweet! The day of the wedding was hectic, but Heather was so kind and patient coordinating with my wedding planner as to when to drop off Coco for photos at the venue. If you are looking for a great dog sitter or walker in the SLO area, Heather is your person!! I am so incredibly grateful for her, without her our weekend would not have gone so smoothly. Thank you so much Heather!”

About: I am the daughter to two vets, and was raised on a ranch in Southern California. I have always had dogs and cats and adore spending time with them! I have been a trainer in the past so I adore spending time walking, stimulating and enjoying the day with your pets! I work from home so I am available at any time, I adore any excuse to move and since I don't socialize with co workers, I have all the socail energy and love for your pet. Honestly this is variable based on the pet. Pets are like people, we all have different love languages. I'm here to help your pet feel comfortable and release the energy they need. I walk numerous times a day, check in on comfort levels and provide all the love and attention your pet could need.
