They took him for hikes with their dog Ava, played tug of war, and sent pictures every day so I knew not to worry. Their house is clean and backyard is fully fenced with grass to run and play on, and they had no problem showing me where Henry would be sleeping, so I could ensure he’s not being locked up in a garage somewhere. They are kind and genuinely love dogs (and not in an over-zealous weird way). If you need a place to board your four legged family member while you’re gone, you can trust Krysta and Tyler to love on them while you’re gone.”

“Melissa is great with doggies, probably all animals. She is kind and definitely a dog person. Dogs have a way of knowing right away if the person is their “kind of dog lover”. My dog Dot ran right up to her and into her home. Dot is a nervous breed so I knew right away this is a good place to leave our little “nervous nelly”. We got pictures often and Dot was kept four days. Melissa has her own doggie, Lucy. We will definitely use Melissa again. She has a backyard for the doggies and daily walks. Wonderful sitter! Dot usually comes home mad that we left her behind, but this time she came home loved, so I think Dot is grateful we found a dog lover to leave her when we need to.”

“We had a last minute cancellation by a dog sitter and Rover was recommended. We selected Thomas and Lisa after having a meeting with our frenchie and their pugs and family. Our baby was so happy there, she went to the park daily, had friends to play with and was given love like we give. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I remember. I have four happy dogs and also dog sit for neighbors and family friends. Pet sitting fits into my weekly routine by already having four. I keep them well fed, walk them 1-3 times a day depending on their energy level and clean them once a week. I care for my pets in your home or my clients home the same way I would with my own pets. I’ll leave the place cleaner than you left it and the pets happier than you left them.

“Heather is AMAZING!!! I hadn't boarded my 9-year old Pomeranian Coco for years, but was looking for someone to board him for a few days in San Luis Obispo as we were coming up from San Diego to be in SLO for my wedding. Unfortunately the wedding venue is a working ranch so could not allow dogs to stay on-site with us, they only allowed Coco to be there the day of for some photos. I went on Rover and searched for a local sitter who would take good care of Coco while we were running around doing wedding activities who also happened to be flexible enough to bring him to the venue for photos on the day of. I interviewed several sitters and Heather stood out - so easy to communicate with, super transparent about her schedule, clearly had taken care of dogs and loves dogs. I was nervous about boarding Coco in a new environment after not doing so for so long, but she put my worries at ease. During Coco's stay, Heather sent photos and updates of her with Coco walking around town and even checking out a restaurant together. It was so cute and sweet! The day of the wedding was hectic, but Heather was so kind and patient coordinating with my wedding planner as to when to drop off Coco for photos at the venue. If you are looking for a great dog sitter or walker in the SLO area, Heather is your person!! I am so incredibly grateful for her, without her our weekend would not have gone so smoothly.
