About: I have tons of animal experience, from chickens to horses and everything in between. Many of my high school years were spent in dog and cat rescue, and I have taken multiple animal science courses in college so I am very comfortable with a wide range of medical and behavioral needs. I'm not scared of by or wary of animals that might need more time to warm up. I'm also very active and outdoorsy and am always looking to have an animal join me on my various adventures and outings if that is what they are into. I work with dogs and cats of all sizes, energy levels, and ages, and can give oral medication, injections, or do bladder expression if needed. I am currently on summer break from my college classes and working part-time remotely from home, so I have a lot of flexibility in terms of scheduling. About: I grew up with an English bulldog and cared for him his whole life. Growing up family always trusted me to take care of their pets as I had watched over a golden retriever and Rottweiler. I currently own two border Collie mixes and would love to take care of your friendly dog. I have trained my dogs and all my pets have been well mannered, well tempered, and well behaved. I don't consider myself a trainer but I was able to walk my English bulldog to walk off leash and various commands and my two pups are making quick strides to do the same and more. I would ideally take care of your pets over the weekend as I would be able to give my full undivided attention to them. I am open to taking care of pets during the week with the understanding that I work full time remotely and would not be able to focus in on them as much as I would on a weekend. I love to go on hikes, runs, and go to dog friendly social settings. I would love to bring your pet along for the fun. I frequently take my dogs outside to play fetch and go on walks in my community and would love to include yours. I live in a two story condo with access to a large unfenced lawn and neighboring parks two minutes away from home. My home has a fenced in patio where my dogs have access to through the night to use the restroom with access through a doggy door. During the day I take them out often in the large communal lawn and neighboring parks. I am off Southwood near sinsheimer Park. I have access to large spaces where fetch can be done both on or off leash. I typically play with my pets off leash and would love to incorporate your pet into our play sessions should they have good recall. I have multiple large doggy beds and your pup can be crated or fenced in the common areas depending on their comfort levels. Dogs are fed in the mornings at 8 and in the afternoons at 5. I take them out for routine walks in the morning and afternoon with outdoor time/ fetch midday around lunch. I also take them out for a quick potty break at night before we all hit the hay.
About: Although my pup is no longer alive, he brought me so much joy and I know your animals do too! I have many years of dog care and had cats while growing up. I can uphold any pet training you require and also have some great skills to add. I am currently very flexible! 💯 recommend Heidi! I don’t live in the area and needed a last second overnight for a celebration of life. My deaf Aussie is a rockstar but not without his challenges in which I worry more about a sitter not prepared for a fluffy, boss that’s out of his routine and tactically savvy at food and ball manipulation. Not only were Heidi and family fantastic at communicating, they were flexible and accommodating from the start. I’ve not yet had a bad experience with a sitter but Heidi and family went above and beyond…apparently there’s going to be a song about this fluffy butt. Highly recommended in the Arroyo Grande/Pismo area.
Matt and his pup Dewey were great! This was Oakley’s first boarding experience and Matt made sure to make her feel at home and us feel at ease leaving her. It’s clear he’s a great pet Dad! Oakley had so much fun being able to run around the yard and play with Dewey. We’d definitely use Matt in the future.

Paul was awesome! Highly recommend! Huey is a blue heeler and we worry about him causing chaos when he stays with people, but after meeting Paul I felt comfortable with his ability to “handle” the chaos of a heeler. Huey led Paul into the house and didn’t look back to say bye so I know he felt comfortable there as well. We got updates and pictures throughout his stay which was great. When we’re back in the area, we will definitely book with Paul again. Thanks Paul!
