I am so excited to meet your pets!
Hi everyone! I love dog walking and pet sitting because it gives me the chance to interact with animals. I moved to SLO a few years ago after living all around the central coast and a few years on the east coast. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for over 10 years and been on Rover for about 7 years. After a break from Rover while I settled into the area and work, I’m looking to get back into pet sitting and I cannot wait to meet your pets!

Safety, trust & environment
When at my client’s homes, I always keep an eye on pets when they are in fenced yards. If the yard is unfenced, the pet will be on a leash outside and for walks. I work remotely, so during overnight pet/house sitting visits, I will be present in the home the majority of the time to keep an eye on the pets. Unfortunately, I cannot host pets in my own home.

Marli was great to work with. In addition to being patient with my puppy, taking great care and following treat instructions and the like - she was really easy to work with in terms of scheduling and communication. She was punctual and made my first use of Rover so positive, I know I’ll be coming back - and know I’ll be working with Marli again.
Great experience once again-- she is very easy to work especially the second time and overall very nice. She understands her responsibilities and try's to meet all expectations. She has been so helpful with Che and allowing us to take our small adventures when its not possible to take our wonderful Che with us.
Marli did a great job taking care of my 2 elderly cats for 6 days! They are on separate feeding regimens and one needs medication, and Marli rolled with it. She sent me photos every day, and also my house was perfect when I returned. Thank you, Marli!
We highly recommend Marli! She was very responsive, asked great questions in preparation for her stay, and sent us lots of updates. We were a little nervous to leave Gadget because he's recovering from surgery, but we felt confident leaving him with Marli. Gadget had a great time with her and we would happily book her again!
Marli is amazing! Just to provide some context, I’ve only left my fur baby one time with a non-family member in the past year, and only for a couple of hours. This was going to be a first for both of us, as I was going to be away for the whole evening. Not only did Marli arrive exactly on time, but she came prepared to stay a while and made me feel super comfortable leaving her with my fur baby. Throughout the evening, I got texts and pictures to update me, which was super appreciated and thoughtful on her part. I cannot think of a more caring and capable sitter for my baby girl- thank you, Marli!! You’ve now raised the bar for everyone else. :)
I have a high energy, shy, but needy cat and Marli was so great with her! She was super professional, left the house in a neater condition than me, and was thoughtful about the details of the stay. Marli may be more expensive than other sitters but her service is worth the extra price! Will 100% book again.

Schedule
My work schedule is flexible, so I have lots of time throughout the day! I have availability on most weekdays when booked in advance. My weekend availability can vary, so take a look at my calendar for current availability.
