About: I grew up with dogs my whole life, and have always been a big dog lover of all shapes, sizes, and breeds! I frequently pet-sit for my friends and family, including exuberant young puppies, gentle older dogs, cautious reactive dogs, and anything in between. I love to play with and walk dogs at their own pace and preference, and am happy to help support and reinforce your training plans and pet rules. I have been an elementary teacher for just over a decade and am taking some time off, so my schedule is very flexible, and I would love to fill it with helping care for dogs in our community! I know it can be hard to leave pets at home for work or social events, but rest assured that with me your pet is in loving and safe hands so you can work, play, and enjoy life without worrying about your furry friend. After teaching for over a decade, I am taking some time off and would love to fill it with caring for pets to help others in my community! I have a very flexible schedule and am available to visit, walk, and care for pets on weekdays between 8 and 6. I can also be available on weekends with prior arrangement. I grew up with dogs and pet-sit often for my friends and family. I have a fenced-in yard and live in a quiet, very walkable neighborhood. I am also a close driving distance to many parks, including the Laguna Lake dog park. I am happy to drive within the Central Coast area to visit, play with, and walk your beloved pup as well!

About: Your dog is as much an individual as you are and we are here to help your puppies to have exactly the experience that they need. I am a life long dog lover and have had many dogs over the years (work travel prevents me from ownership right now). Over the years my household (me, adult son, grand daughter (6)) have adopted or fostered a wide variety of dogs from a puppy to be trained and moved on to forever home to senior dogs who ultimately ended up with their forever home right here. I am excellent at giving medication (was a LPN for humans), long walks that I enjoy as much as the dog, and am open to any dog related service your dog may need. I will always treat your dog like the wonderful individual they are. I am open to any size dog and ANY breed (I have great relationships with pit bulls, Chihuahua's, and other high difficulty breads) All dogs must have flee control and be up on vaccinations (and licensed). I was reading the Rover information for customers and it said you should ask about how much cuddle time, playtime, and walks cost. Your pet will get all the cuddles, walks, and playtime they can stand for free. I do this because everybody in my house loves dogs and want to make new furry friends. Feel free to contact me with any questions I am a work from home writer, artist, photographer, and journalist, so I have lots of open time. I do travel for work in the summer months which does leave some days completely unavailable, but otherwise ready to walk from 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. There is no other way to say it, I love dogs and will treat your dog with more respect than most humans receive. The walks will be well planned and any care will be exactly what you requested.

About: I have had a dog ever since I can remember. I currently have two puppies which is just as challenging as it is rewarding. I am always up for spending time with these precious animals. Throughout my life I have taken on the responsibility of caring for not only my own dogs but friend's and neighbor's dogs as well. I am a college student currently home for winter break so I have lots of time to play and walk your pups! I love spending my free time being active and I have always been a dog lover! I know how much your pet means to you because of how much mine mean to me so safety will always be the number one priority. I have two very friendly puppies and my yard is fenced in. I have a crate, leashes, doggy gates inside my home, and lots of toys!

About: Ive taken care of all types of dogs and cats since I was a little kid! I absolutely adore them, and make sure they get what they need to be happy and healthy! Im currently available all day, any day of the week, at any time! As a student home from college I can spend as much time as needed with these precious animals! She watched Koco for a couple hours so I could check in at work and go shopping for a camping trip in Arroyo Grande. After the 3+ hour road trip down, Koco was understandably under-stimulated with a lot of pent-up energy. I dropped him off anxious and hyper and picked him up relaxed and happily walked. I would highly recommend Karol for all your dog-sitting needs (and Koco would too!)”

About: To stay busy as a child, I walked and house sat practically the entire neighborhood’s beloved pet. Summer days were filled with miles of dog walking adventures with a dedicated cabinet to keep the hundreds of house keys safe. Even now, as a working professional, I can’t imagine my routine without it! Morning exercise, breaks throughout the day, and evening walks are a perfect time for animal care sessions. Having a sister who is a vet, I am only a quick call away from an expert diagnosis if ever necessary. I have piece of mind knowing assistance is close and years of experience keeping animals happy and safe. I am currently enrolled in Cal Poly’s Master’s program for Biomedical Engineering, which is completely virtual this quarter and likely next. This allows for a very flexible schedule with frequent study breaks for pet walks or visits. The remote lessons even allow me to listen to lectures while with your pet in your home for extended pet company. My house is close to the bike path and terrace hill for the perfect pet excursion sure to leave them tired and happy. I love running to accommodate the high energy animals as well as the leisurely hike for those who are slowing down or prefer a casual sniff around.

About: Active and attentive family available to provide multiple levels of care for your fur baby! Our nine-year-old is interested in starting a dog walking business (with support from mom or dad), and we are also able to board a friendly dog who would be sharing space with our elderly dog or do drop-ins/ house sit when more appropriate (not the whole family!). We can provide exercise through walks, on-leash hikes, or whatever works for your dog. I’ve been around dogs most of my life and am comfortable with all ages (puppy to elderly). Our child is in a hybrid homeschool program so someone is home most days throughout the day to keep your pet company. We have a fenced yard and live close to dog friendly beaches and trails. If you have a cat you need a sitter for, we are available for drop-ins or to stay at your residence because our dog has strong opinions about the feline species.
